I appreciate you helping me out with this. I had given you five points on the spreadsheet I keep with the tally, but missed reporting when I updated the announcement text.
Thanks again for letting me know - giving me a head's up here was an excellent way of bringing it to my immediate attention. And I apologize for not posting the correct tally.
Excellent review, covers the over-view and also a lot of fine details for the site.
You should post reviews more often.
They are worth reading.
Both for the ease of reading, and the fine details they include.
(By ease of reading, I mean the review is well-written, and a pleasure to read.)
Several months ago someone floated the idea of giving the best-written review of the month a special prize in the raffle.
That didn't happen.
But if there was such a prize, I would nominate this review.
Ugh thanks tangub. I didn't realize I was just in the "channel" and not on a kink.com site. So that was a content share not a full site. I've asked PU to delete the review.
I'm not sure if that's the reason my download speeds improved, but whatever the reason I'm really glad they're back to full speed. I noticed that they've got the same ownership as Adult Time as well (I have subs to both sites).
Hi there. Just saw your comment and thought I'd reply as I am a current member at Femjoy.
In answer to your question you're correct in that Femjoy doesn't currently have an A-Z model listing feature. When searching by model you have three options: Sort by 'Recent', 'Views' or by 'Rating'.
Femjoy has an extensive catalogue of models/sets which is a plus. On the downside their site and its content needs work imho. Customer Service is sadly non-existent (noone replies). There are page errors ('500 Error') here and there - for example when you click on your 'Favorite Photo Sets' in the member area. Model ages when first shot are given in an idiosyncratic fashion - sometimes the cumulative age from when they first appeared (eg. first appeared in 2015 aged 20 - age listing of 25), sometimes '2020' (the actual year at the moment) and sometimes '0'!
Femjoy was taken over by Gamma Entertainment in 2019 and I get the feeling that the site is low on their list of priorities. It could definitely do with a facelift/coding work. I'll probably stay though on account of the models and their sets/videos on the site.
I happened to find a working login, so I can confirm that LKLK is right about the update schedule - one or two a week. Though with the whole COVID thing, they're posting some classic content - like the Jana Cova video.
I did some quick math and it looks like there are 1,700+ videos, 3,800+ photo sets and about 2,100 models. So his estimates were a bit conservative, but better to be a bit under than way over. And he covered so much more in such precise detail!
SexArt $5.00 for 30 days.
RabbitsReviews shows that discount.
Since I'm a member of SexArt already, I can't tell if this is streaming only, or if it includes downloads.
(When I click on the offer hot link, I open a member page of the SexArt site, and not the offer site details--since I'm already a member.)
MetArt $5.00 for 30 days.
Same thing. I don't know if that includes downloads.
I'm a sucker for low-priced deals.
Except I'm already a member of both sites, so those deals don't interest me.
I didn't do a numerical count of the photosets and videos.
I just took those numbers, and the number of models, from some page or other.
Too lazy to go through the hassle of viewing all the pages of their models and videos and trying to add them for a single count.
I figured that a general figure was enough to give an idea of the amount of the content.
My last join was a few years ago.
So I don't have specific knowledge of the exact content from a few years ago (my memory is not great).
My review basically paints a picture of a site that could have existed in the 1970, if the internet had existed back then. With photo sets and videos that are in the style of the 1970s (except the internet wasn't around then).
Does the site update? Yes.
You get 1 or 2 new videos per week.
Are all of the videos new?
The video of Jana Cova, posted Mar 4, 2020, and Jillian Janson, posted Mar 9, 2020, might be older videos, since I don't know if these models retired. I had assumed they retired, and these videos might have been shot years ago, but I'm not an expert on them.
Neither one of the videos I selected were up to the quality of many of the Digital Desire videos I've seen over the years: the videos lack the sharpness and color vibrancy of the standard Digital Desire videos, which were excellent and outstanding quality.
Actually, I much prefer the older videos of my favorite models, such as Kenze Thomas.
Those videos just make the models much more appealing. For me, at least.
The photo sets and videos have a posted date.
So I assume that they are posting new material, or at least material that has been updated.
I've only started my membership at the site, so I don't have a good over-view yet.
But so far, my impression is that I prefer the older content: there are so many beautiful girls, that were photographed so exquisitely. And the videos were softer. Not as much emphasis on the solo masturbation. More of a tease, although there was plenty of nudity.
But yes, they are updating with new models, in the photosets and videos.
But I prefer the older content on the site.
Thanks tangub, I did DL a recent scene's HQ photo set and found it to be relatively low-res. I will double check some other recent scenes to be sure I'm not missing something.
Thanks again.
Yes, one of the first things I did after reading your message was to type the URL into a private browser window. So I was aware that it isn't just redirecting from The Best Porn.
But webmasters can experiment with new tours and they may redirect to different domains temporarily to test whether it increases their traffic. So the change may or may not be permanent.
Still, once it is established that Girls Under Arrest is going to redirect permanently to Is This Real, the original site will be removed or possibly relabeled a clone.
In the meantime, even though the domain may have changed, there are still under a dozen Girls Under Arrest scenes and the other details of the user experience have been accurately described.
I have let the appropriate team member know about the situation, so they can follow up with the webmaster and make whatever change makes the most sense. I will follow up in a day or two, if I don't hear from them.
I remember visiting the Netherlands and Denmark in the early 1990s.
As a tourist, we were charged higher prices than what our tour guides were paying, for the items. I thought it was a rip-off, but we were on a tour, and that's the way it worked.
Unfair, but when we were in a group at some stops, that's what happened.
But I've read in the past, that PU members in Europe often have to pay higher prices, because of regional pricing. Which could be because of the credit card company, or the pay site processor, or some other reason.
But if there is some legal way to get around it, it would be helpful to know, for our European members. To get better prices.
Girls Under Arrest is listed as a pay site by The Best Porn.
isthisreal is an adult time live series.
The public page (not the member page) of IsThisReal shows:
Adult Time
Live Series
Daily cam shows.
Free for members (of the Adult Time network, I assume).
I'm not very interested in cam shows.
But if you are a member of Adult Time, you can check out what the isthisreal series/channel offers.
The difference between a site, a channel, or a series seems to be blurred.
On a different public page, at least 2 of the Girls Under Arrest, Nocturnal Massage, Sister's Sex Tape, and some other series (or channels) are listed under the IsThisReal public page, so I assume all those series are part of the IsThisReal channel, as well as being part of the Adult Time network.
If you are a member of Adult Time, you can check out one or more of those series/channels/sites/whatEverYouCallThem yourself.
The system here won't let me edit my previous reply. The low resolution photo zips are downloading properly now. I don't know if they had a glitch going on and maybe seen the review and fixed it.
I checked the ultimate upgrade and it is $199, that's the only way to get video downloads and high resolution photo downloads. It does give lifetime membership but this is what really bothers me the most, TBP reviewed it in May 2019, and this is directly from the TBP review, "Only VIP members have access to downloadable videos and Zip files for the high-res pics. VIP subscribers can also check out the behind-the-scenes interviews and backstage videos."
So, it looks like they have changed the way their site works. The membership I joined is VIP and the only options I have for downloading are pay $4.99 per video or join ultimate. It really is a shame. The models are great looking and the videos I've streamed are very good at teasing.
Being helpful is one thing. You started it with a correction of something I can reword to say "content that dates back 19 years". That would have been helpful to suggest. Instead, you stick to the technicality that the site itself is only 2 years old. Do you think to a person considering the site they care more about some of the content being 19 years old or the site only being 2?
You then replied with a LOL like a 12 year old. That's really helpful and not mocking is it? I'll edit it and reword it to say the content on the site is as old as 19 years. And there is an elitism here. See pointing out a technicality that has nothing to do with the actual content. That's a need for correcting people.
I see it that some of the content in the member's area is 19 years old. That makes the site 19 years old to me. The snobbery and elitism here is disgusting.
Wow that sucks! I understand the limits with people devoting so much effort into site ripping but some of these sites take the limits way to far and drive off customers. I am a firm believer in paying for my stuff and supporting that site but they are slowly becoming their own worst enemy with these overly strick limits.
Maybe you could suggest a prize to Freddie for best Waffle Review of the Month?
I was trying to be clear, to show exactly how the search works at the network sites.
The difference between the main Teen Mega World site, and the satellite site searches.
But as you pointed out, I didn't cover every detail.
I did a couple of reviews recently about some TMW sites, where I mistakenly wrote that the limited search at the sites had been fixed. That was an error. I was probably logged in to the main TMW site when I did those searches, and didn't carefully look at the browser address bar, that would show what site I was logged into.
To describe the A-Z model listing at the TMW site, and the satellite sites: It's not simple.
If you are logged in to the main TMW site, then a model listing (with thumbnails of the models) is shown. Which takes several pages.
If you click on a model's thumbnail, it brings up a listing (with thumbnails) of the model's content at the network. Click on any thumbnail and it will bring up the model's video at the specific site.
If you are logged in to one of the satellite sites: the model listing only shows the models that are at that site.
However, (still assuming you are logged in to one of the satellite sites): the model listing, once you click on a model's thumbnail, will bring up her content at the entire network, with thumbnails.
So you can click on any thumbnail, to bring up the video of that model at thosw sites.
So, if you joined through one of the satellite sites, searching for a model's content, whether by the search engine, or by the A-Z model listing, will be an incomplete search of most models at the network.
And most of the network content will be a mystery.
Unless you do a very laborious search of each site by:
doing a partial log-in to each site, and then viewing the model listing for that site.
(I say it's a partial log-in, because once you join a site, any time you log in to the TMW network, you are only logged in to your join site, even when you open a different site in the network, you are still logged in to your join site.
Sorry if I am waffling. But I am trying to be precise, and trying to give you a complete picture.
Maybe you aren't thinking.
The most important fact about joining Fuck Studies is that you should not join the site directly.
You should join through the Teen Mega World site.
The difference is that a search from Teen Mega World covers the entire network.
A search (if you join through Fuck Studies, or one of the other satellite sites in the network) is limited to the site you join through.
If you are not aware of this difference, and join through one of the satellite sites, such as Fuck Studies, then your ability to search the network content is severely limited.
If you can't appreciate that idea, that's your problem.
I think I'm doing a service by pointing out the difference in which site to join through.
I have read your comments regarding the lowering of the score for In The Crack, while I find the content to be unique and awesome, I did feel that asking $70/month for unlimited downloads to be very expensive (as Loki mentioned) which is my reason for lowering the score, but I realize now I may have lowered it by a lot, sorry about that. Since In The Crack has maintained great content for the last while and not much has changed, I have reinstated a score of 90 but I still think that's a lot of money to ask for an unlimited membership.
