Thanks, but I'm not sure that moving the discussion to customer service would be helpful to other users who may be interested in the topic, especially when the pay site being discussed is clearly working as designed. Downloads are intentionally and very specifically designed to fail after ten minutes to discourage paying customers from downloading content, and download managers that queue properly and work perfectly fine at all other sites will necessarily obey these ten-minute download restrictions as designed.
Thanks for the input, and for the willingness to participate on the review site. Would you mind if I post the meat of your PM regarding the site's position on download managers?

"Does your download manager require that you provide links of all of the sets/movies that you want to download prior to running it? Or can it be set to open URLs on its own after a movie completes downloading? If so, that seems like it would solve the problem."
I'm not sure I'm following. A download manager that opens URLs on its own before they have been generated to queue into the download manager?
I'm unfamiliar with that technology, but I'd certainly be interested in a recommendation for a download manager that functions that way.

So that I don't misunderstand and misrepresent what I'm reading when I write a future review:
I set my download manager to only download one file at a time. I start my first download and queue another download 30 seconds later. If my first download takes 12 minutes to complete then my second download will fail?

Hi, Jeff, thank you for reply, old buddy, I really appreciate it.
First of all sorry for my poor English, it is not my native language.
Unfortunately I don't understand what are your claims for.
Yes, Sir, I have posted lots of comments at different review sites. There is nothing wrong with that. As a customer I can use any review site or forum (or all of them) to express my opinion. You are absolutely right, sir, and I admit that I used nick Boris at Rabbitsreviews. Once again: there is nothing wrong to use different nicks at different forums. (Do you mean that I need to use my real name to make comments in porno forums???)
Pornusers' rules don't prohibit a customer to participate in other review sites. So, yes, it was me at the Rabbits. I'll tell you more: I have left much more comments at other sites and forum. PLEASE NOTE: I didn't break any rules by doing that. So you see that your claim is unreasonable.
!
Second. Please note, that I can't "write a bunch of negative reviews" on the same site because every review site allows only one comment from a customer on particular adult site. So, I can't write a 2 or 3 reviews on Karups here, at Pornusers. Neither I can do that at rabbits or anywhere else. By the way about 10 people posted negative comments at the Rabbitsreviews. You meant to say that all of them were me? Such a nonsense! It is impossible technically!!!
!
Yes, Sir, I had difficulties to cancel my re billing. I can make a copy from my bank statement and posted here to prove it.
!
Dear Jeff, you sound pretty strange! Almost all users' comments request to increase the quality, nothing else. There is nothing to get angry about. Instead of getting mad you had better to do something about it. You started working in 1998 and you stay on the same level you started 15 years ago. Your quality stays on the level of the latest 90's. That's what people are telling to you. You don't need to react that unfriendly if people are trying to help you to improve your site.
!
You didn't scare me by your lawyer. I have the right to express my opinion everywhere I want. It is called "freedom of speech" and granted by the First amendment of the Constitution. Preventing me from exercising of my constitution right can cost you to darn much and YOUR driver license may be left at a crime scene. After all what do you have against me? My requesting to improve the video quality? Is that what you gonna use against me in the court? Don't be silly!!!
You had better to respect your customers.

Good to hear. I hope you will also use a low enough compression that it doesn't strip all the fine detail out. This is a problem on many sites where they boast about big sizes, yet the actual detail is no better than smaller sizes due to too much filtering. I look forward to checking the site out in the future.

Well it doesn't say what those concerns were. But the biggest concern for most of us is when exactly will Karup increase your images sizes to meet today's expectations (i.e. 3000x2000 or higher)?

Hi Jeff: This is the reply I got from Brent on Jan. 31 concerning the extra com:
"As for the extra .com - I was told it was a typo put into the template on our backend. It got fixed on Saturday, but after you got the second email with it in it."
I guess you were not able to duplicate the error because it has now been fixed.
Regards,
m.

No apology necessary, Jeff, because glitches will happen. I would not even have written the comment above if there had been a reply to my first two emails.
Someone on your side had put an extra com into "reply" and emails ended up being addressed to "support@karupsow.com.com " as I found out a day later when my emails were returned as undeliverable. Until I was aware of the reason it had me steaming about your lack of response, therefore my initial reaction.
But, as you said, the issue has been resolved amicably, all is well, and I do want to compliment you on a fine site (I've re-joined) and also want to praise Brent for his prompt replies and helpful ways. Keep him and give him a raise, he's worth it when it comes to public relations! :-)
A sincere thanks as well to KarupsOW for giving all the users affected by this glitch the generous extra time. That was a class act!

Just sent this reply to Brent...'
http://www.spectorsoft.com/products/spectorpro_windows/
Same thing occurs... same three images in Andrea set come up with Spector Pro 2010 8.0.3256 Keylogger . Fresh download of the zip file. New scan of the contents, same spyware hit.
Program used "Macscan".
I'll send you the three images if you want them (however you should be getting the same result by downloading the zip file and opening the zip...
The fact that your antivirus software isn't seeing this only means the culprits have done a job blinding the virus software you're using.
Sorry again!
________
Still waiting to hear from Macscan...
So the question boils down to this... can the "people" who write this type of malware successfully hide it from all the best virus protection software (for Windows) yet a little known "MAC" company called macscan can see it by name and serial number?
Just asking.

Hi Jeff
Yes, I've been a member on and off for years. The reason for that is of course quality and a well runned site/sites. And with a fine - or rather GREAT - selection of models - and that's top!. I think the collection of models is your foremost advantage.
This term I've seen some even better HD-videos - times has grown from blurred dittos - we (costumers) want them crisp now, don't we?. So it's my hope, at the Karup-sites in the future will consider doing that - and that would make the sites EVEN better...
Cheers!

The thing about this forum, though, Jeff, is that there are enough members that, for the sites such as yours, that have a history of responsive Customer Service, there will be other members to speak up in the defense of good sites so that the complaints will have the lesser weight that they ought to. In the end, I think that's more valuable than the mods setting up a whole QC system, which I tend to think could create more friction than not.
I would certainly feel p.o'd if I had what I felt was a valid complaint about a site and I wasn't allowed to have my post seen by other forum members because a mod decided that it was not a valid complaint. On the other hand if I made my point and 10 other forum members responded, saying that they had always had great experiences with the site, I wouldn't have any reason to be pissed off at the mod or the other members and would probably chill out a bit and have more perspective about my complaint.

I've never had any trouble cancelling from either KarupsHA or KarupsPC. In my own experience, they've actually been two of the easiest sites to cancel from. I don't know what's going on here, but all I can say is that it's different from how it's been for me.

Good job, Jeff. I have never been a member of this particular Karups site, but I have been a member of KarupsPC 3 different times and have never had access problems or problems cancelling membership and have always found Karups to be quite responsive and professional way, so I have to say that the "Stay Away" from any Karups site should be taken a grain or two of salt.

Hi Jeff,
I went through my first folder and didn't find any. Bear in mind, I have hundreds of zips, so this might take a while. I know I only downloaded a few since I generally peruse the set before taking the zip and when I found one of those, by and large I opted not to DL.
Until I rummage a few up, it might help if I tell you that these doubled sets - at least the ones I saw - ALL occurred in the old pages. I spent almost all my time in the regular amatuers section and athletic amateurs. I worked my way from oldest to newer since I prefer the style of the old sets (I'm an old-school undies fan). I don't recall any in exotics, and I never looked at outdoors, nor any hardcore.
Bear in mind, I wrote the initial comment in regard to this out of curiosity mainly and as a heads-up to you. It wasn't that big of a deal. As you can see by my review, basically your site is tops and I will be rejoining again in a few months to go through the newer stuff.
I will email with info when I can. Hopefully fairly soon.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the quick reply. I will send you some of the set-names after I've located them, but I won't be able to send an URL because my sub has run out. **NOT fishing for any freebies here, either, nor would I accept any if offered. I'm weird about that sort of thing. Not that you would do that any way. I mention it just as an FYI.

Thanks, Jeff. Very kind of you to reply. Quite frankly I'm amazed that the majority would prefer their pictures in "portrait" format. For some reason I had always assumed that the opposite was the case. It must be the Playboy, Penthouse factor: folks got used to long and narrow!
My problem is the same that I have with HDTV, if the programming is in widescreen it somehow looks right, if they show a program in the usual 4:3 format I hate it. It's those bars on the side.
In any case it's not my intention to get the majority of picture viewers to come after me full of righteous indignation because they're afraid that I'll try to change their favorite format, so I give up the fight. Not another plea to another webmaster, I promise! :-)
Just do me a favor and have your photographers sneak in a "widescreen" shot of the model fully clothed now and then, and maybe one in between, :-) that way I can continue to edit the sets and still have a certain continuity that will take me from the model being fully clothed right to the end, no pun intended. I may give up but I know what I like. I mean they could show a portrait style picture of a model on an IMAX screen and I would still sigh: wish they had used the whole screen even if the model looked smaller.
Thanks again for your courtesy. I had fun "talking" to you.

Well, seeing how others are getting complimentary memberships which might lead to new and perhaps more favorable reviews, I'll pass on the offer and wait to see what others say about it.
I can wait, after all, and the reasons I think are by now self-explanatory.
Thanks, just the same.
