badandy400 (0) Well it is damn hard to beat downloading 24 hours per day, so I must say I definitely download more than I watch. More important, and more likely the intent of this poll, I do spend more time getting my downloads ready than actual viewing.

All the work is part of the fun in it so it is not such a terrible things for me.

Drooler (Disabled) Yes, I confess, I download more than I just watch. Sometimes I come to and think, "This behavior of mine is out of balance!"

It is, but I enjoy getting new stuff. Besides, there's quite a lot of watching that goes on in the process. And if it's really hot, watching yields to repeated ogling, and the little activity light on my router stays still.

badandy400 (0) REPLY TO #2 - Drooler :

For me the actively light on my DSL modem is the same as an EKG machine, if it flat lines it is time to panic. Mine never stops, well it is not supposed to, and when it does I take care of that right away. My though has always been that I am paying a monthly fee to see that light flash and when it is not I am throwing money away.

lk2fireone (0) I think badandy400 is the purest form of porn addiction I've ever seen, but at least he seems to be enjoying it. Which is great. We've reached the next stage in human society: Porno Badandyicus.

Jay G (Disabled) I've downloaded absolutely more porn than I could ever watch. No logical sense, except "acquiring stuff" and the hunt for new stuff is 90% of the excitement.

At least 90% of porn time is spent hunting and only 10% watching. That's why I spend so much time at Porn Users.

Wittyguy (0) The answer to this question is twofold. First, how quickly can you "rub one out" (are you Speed Racer or more like a Koala bear taking a eucalyptus numbing journey) because I sure as hell don't watch much more for its overall entertainment. Second, unless all you do is fire up the download manager and walk away you have to spend time on your collection or else it's a total organizational mess. That be the equation.

turboshaft (0) Yes, it seems the majority of my time is spent downloading, not enjoying, the many delights of the wonderful world of porn. This may really be a case of the chase being better than the catch.

I'm a collector so there are two things that keep me downloading instead of watching:

First, when I a member of a site I want to get the most out of that membership. Sure, I can watch whenever I want to, but I can only download when I am a member and so I feel the clock ticking away whenever I spend too much time looking at videos or photos and I still have a membership to use.

Second, I always have the nagging fear of an impending "Road Warrior"-style apocalypse in the not too distant future, though in my case I will be fighting over computer and generator parts, not fuel (beyond what I need to keep the generators running in order to power my end-of-days computer setup, of course). If this is the case, I need to stock up on as much material as possible now, because when it happens all the armed fringe groups will probably wipe out all the unarmed fringe groups (like pornographers and their open-minded models) and we'll be fresh out of updates for a few years at least.

Don't say I didn't warn you. ;)

PinkPanther (0) As this poll shows, we're pretty much all a bunch of damned geek porn collectors - lol

pat362 (0) I picked 50-50 at first but I then changed my vote because I realise that I spend more time surfing for it. I'm not big on the sorting and that is a problem. Lots of porn but no clue where some of it is. I don't even want to think how badandy does it.

badandy400 (0) Turboshaft nailed it. One day there will be no more porn updates and the web will even fall. When that happens we need to have more than we can ever hope to watch. The other scenario is that porn will become illegal and no one will be able to get anything new. If that happens all I can hope for is that porn collected before the illegal date is grandfathered, otherwise I might get hung.

Sort is a major issue, but if it is done while it is downloading it is not so bad. I can figure out where stuff came from shortly after it was downloaded, but after a bit of time I tend to be clueless. Renaming things at download is another big things that must be done. Put all this together, along with the 24/7 download efforts, I must say I put much more into it now than I get out of it.

asmith12 (0) Wow, now I'm beginning to see why that many people here on PU are that much concerned about DL speeds and especially DL limits. Still not my cup of tea, so please don't expect me to jump on this bandwagon in my reviews :-).

badandy400 (0) When California falls into the Pacific and 90% of America's porn production goes with it don't come crying to us because you do not have enough porn stashed! Then again, you couldn't because is not PU based in LA? In which case TBP/PU would be in the big drink too! That would be a national emergency!

nygiants03 (0) Yes unfortuantely I do spend more time doing all of those things. There are still quite a few videos still I have not even watched yet. There is just something about knowing you have it for when you do want to view it. I always find the need to seek out new porn.
