slutty (0) Nope.

Probably should have on a few occasions, but I don't like to make trouble...

lk2fireone (0) Plagiarism, Slutty stole the words right out of my mouth. I'm going to sue Slutty for plagiarism, and PU for aiding and abetting in this sinful crime.

Actually, the words I was going to write were:

"No. I probably should have, but everyone knows what a nice guy I am, and takes advantage of me."

But no more Mr. Nice Guy. From now on I'm standing up for my rights.

Drooler (Disabled) Oh. It's been a while. I joined one site that made it impossible to quit and then they rebilled. I threatened to contact my credit card company about that. They stopped.

Assholes.

Then another site did these phony update lists and phony pic dimensions. Boy was I pissed. But ccbill just tried their best to avoid refunding me, using stalling tactics such as that they were attempting to contact the site owner, etc. And all I wanted was to be refunded as I wasn't getting what was advertised.

Buyer beware! And nobody gives a shit about you except your own damn self.

Capn (0) No.

If it is a site I don't like I just cancel early, so it doesn't get forgotten.

Lionheart (0) Never asked for a refund, I view it as taking a risk each time I join a site, if it is not what I wanted then I cancel my membership and take it as a lost, but I will always let my fellow users know about my bad experience so that others will not fall prey.

tangub (0) Yes only once

I once joined a sight only to find that the content i'd seen on a TGP was not actually available in the site....within 5 minutes of signing up i knew it was a rip off with only a few low res photo galleries so i wrote to the site and CCbill asking for a refund. The reply i got was basically "tough luck" so i replied to CCbill again threatening to contact my credit card company and chargeback. Once i threatened that they refunded me straight away. However next time i went to join a sight with CCbill i found my credit card was refused so i guess they black listed it but no problem...i just used a different credit card and the transaction went through

I would say the chances of this situation arising again are very slim thanks to all the excellent reviews and feedback provided here at PU and TBP.

anyonebutme (0) Only once I had to get the credit card company involved to refute a charge - it was with some no-name B.S. biller, and if I can never sign up through them again I consider that a good thing for me!

I've gotten a refund twice from ccbill, once the login details never worked with the site. The second time the website went out of business, shut everything down just two days after me joining.

anyonebutme (0) REPLY TO #3 - Drooler :

It's not that bad out there. The alternative to your situation, though, would be you could sign up to any website, download everything you want for a day, then demand a full immediate no-hassle refund from ccbill. I'd probably estimate 1% of complaints & refund requests are for legitimate reasons, it's gotta be tough on the other end to spot the real ones to take care of.

Nothing you said had anything to do with the situations I described.

Besides, if only 1% of complaints were legitimate, things would be pretty "bad out there," mmm?

mbaya (Disabled) I have been charged for sites I did not want. The old prechecked box routine. I was new at this then, asked for refund and then got no answer. I also signed up for a site that was not worth even a $1 trial download, but it was a lot more. I demanded a refund and was ignored.

pat362 (0) I never asked for one but I certainly wish I had for some of the turkeys I joined in the past. I guess I'm a nice guy like everyone else. At least I rarely feel the need to ask for a refund now that I'm a PU member.

Denner (0) Maybe once - or twice...
Remember one clearly: I placed some criticism about the site here at PU Comments - the webmaster got furious and blocked my access.
I got my money back in the end - after quite a lot of mail correspondence.

Jay G (Disabled) Once. A website simply wouldn't accept the password it gave me. Called the third party biller and they refunded the charge without a problem. The web-site, of course, never responded to my e-mails about the problem.

PinkPanther (0) I've joined sites that announced they were no longer updating the day after I joined - or stopped updating with no announcement. Or I had no access.

In those situations, I requested refunds.

lk2fireone (0) Now that I think about it, there was one time I did request a billing service to cancel my subcription fee. I was charged a few dollars for a pre-checked cross-sell to PornAccess, when I signed up for Devils Film. I called the billing company within minutes after I received a notice that I was now a member of PornAccess. I explained that I had looked for any cross-sells on the signup page, and did not see any, and that I did not want to be a member of PornAccess or to pay any fee to PornAccess. The billing representative was firm and said the charge could not be cancelled.

She did agree to cancel my subscription, so it would not be renewed after 3 days. But I didn't get my money back. It was only a few dollars, so it was not worth bothering my credit card company about the matter.

This happened about 4 months ago.

slutty (0) REPLY TO #8 - anyonebutme :

There are an aweful lot of scam websites and bait-and-switch websites out there, and I'm sure most of them operate on the idea that most, like me, would not be willing to raise a ruckus over porn. Although I'm sure many of these also use less than reputable billers...
