Yes, always as they're useful in letting me know what I could improve.

I normally read the "feed backs" - or whatever they're called from Khan and Vegas Ken, among others - but what the term "Staff Notes" are exactly? - you got me there...

Staff notes? I've just gone around trying to find them at both PU and TBP, but no cigarillo. I'd never heard of them before.
Where are they?

Let's see if I can help get you to the page you want. Just be aware the instructions may sound more complicated than they really are. In essence it takes a couple of mouse clicks.
While logged in, look at the top of the page ... you'll see something like:
You are logged in as: Username (123)
... where (123) is the number of points you have.
Clicking that number will take you to your profile activity page.
Towards the top of that page, you'll see a line:
Feedback Status: Pending (0) | Approved (0) | Denied (0)
... except it'll have your numbers.
Click "Approved"
That's it.
From there you can see your submissions and any "Staff Notes". Usually it'll be the standard system message(s) but on occasion, we'll (almost always me) make further remarks.
Oh, and thanks to atrapat for submitting this poll question.

At least for me, there are always "Staff Notes" under each review and rarely under other feedback types. They say almost always the same but with slightly different wording, which shows someone is actually typing those words. I find that quite nice.
I've been checking the notes much more often since the day I realized a reply I had posted a month earlier had a Staff Note noting me that I had said something that was slightly against this site's rules.
My humble intent in submitting this poll was trying to know whether other users were aware of this somewhat obscure functionality and thank PornUsers staff - mostly Khan it seems :) - for reading through all our contributions.

They are almost always interesting to read/ help you become a better review-er. Why not read them?

I didn't know they existed either. I went back and looked at some but almost no commentary. I guess I'm just that damn good ... or else Khan and company actually have more important things to do (take your pick).

I didn't know they existed until a few months ago and then I learned the hard way. I had developed my own style of review that I thought worked but then I was only awarded one point for a review and I emailed Khan to ask why, as I had clearly written a review to surpass anything ever written before. ;-) Turns out Khan had added a note for my previous review telling me I was straying from the rules. Had I read that I would have snapped back in line right away. So I do check them now. And I follow the rules now too.

REPLY TO #15 - rearadmiral :
I thought I was the one who writes the best PU reviews. Although I do think some reviews by other PU members might be acceptable. LOL.

After reading Khan's thoughtful explanation and clear instructions, and then for the first time administering the tactic, I found I was in the company of the other responders who initally hadn't a clue what the question meant.
However, now having been successful tapping into the feature, I have to say my vote applaudes it's utility, yet the poll question remains a little too vague for me to present a qualifiable answer....
Reviewing what I just said, I might submit those having just waded through this verbosity has concluded it's author is also a bit "vague."

No staff notes except approved, maybe I should screw up more - hmmm I'm not sure I care. Oh I did have one which I actually called on myself so I don't count that one.

Although somewhat stealthy, I discovered them a while ago. I don't always remember to check, but I catch up eventually.

REPLY TO #23 - Cybertoad :
An alternative to what Khan suggested on Msg #9 is clicking the New Replies next to the alert sign at the top of each page.
Then, you will get the Approved listing by clicking on the third line (second option on Feedback Status).

REPLY TO #9 - Khan :
Oh, those! I used to look at them every time I submitted a review. I did have a look around, and found a couple of "Easter Eggs," so to speak, that give additional comments beyond the usual "Approved."
Thanks for helping me put, 2 and 2 together on this.
