Yes, I generally do. Even if there's no review on either site, TBP usually has some useful info about billing etc. I like to be as sure as I can be about a site before I join.

Very rarely, as often the TBP reviewer's perspective shows totally different priorities to my own.

I always do. If PU has a review then I also check to see if TBP has one and vice versa if TBP has a review then I'll check to see if PU as one as well.
I love TBP because even if they don't have a review then they usually have some small details about a site that can be important. The one thing that can sometime happens with TBP reviews is that they will claim that a site has exclusif content when in fact it doesn't or that the content is new when it is rather old stuff . I don't blame them for these little errors because they will take a sites word until proven otherwise. That's not much of an issue for me because I canusually spot the sites with older stuff or the ones that don't have exclusif content.

"TBP listing page?" whatever that means, so I answered NEVER but from reading the replies after I cast my vote I see it means the TBP staff reviews, so my real answer is Sometimes but usually never.

The TBP listing page does contain the TBP Staff reviews but it also carries site facts and other general info about a site.

I think the two complement each other beautifully. I go to TBP for the details that a layman might forget to mention but because I am aware of TBP reviewers having to be as objective as is humanly possible I also go to PU for the gut reactions and relative subjectivity and complaints of the rest of us. I find this very helpful because it gives me an insight into a site that a professional review can't..

I nearly always check out their site facts even if I don't bother to read their reviews.

Reviews at TBP certainly have improved in providing details. This I'm thankful for since sometimes us "amateur" reviewers don't.
However, I'm not too keen on being told in a TBP review that a site has exclusive content and then I join to find out that it does not. And I find it a bit hard to believe that I could have more knowledge of this than the "professional" reviewers could.

I pay more attention to PU reviews than to TBP reviews. But both sites are useful.

Like tangub, I always check the site stats if they are listed, usually read the reviews as well.

Like Drooler (ho,ho surprise..)
Seriously: I always check TBP for details about a site - but it happens too often that TBP says: "exclusive" - when not.

I generally check out the TBP listing because I know their criteria better than I know the criteria of any particular user, so I have a better baseline to judge from.
And as far as the exclusive thing, it's easy for any of us to judge because we've all seen each site we've joined ourselves. But TBP has four different people reviewing sites, and can go years between review the same sites over again, so if a site advertises itself as exclusive, and that specific reviewer hasn't reviewed any of the sites that share the content, how would they know that it isn't exclusive?

I agree with hodayathink, because there's a consistency with TBP you can get a good baseline. That said I also love the pornusers community for getting more of the idiosyncrasies of a particular cite

I always check out the TBP page. I read the reviews and scour the technical information so I can make an informed choice.

I often go there to find out more about a site and see what stats and stuff I can find out from a site and bonus sites and how many movies, that kind of stuff, they do amazing work over there with lots of sites regularly updated with facts.

Always if I consider joining. They usually list all the possible tricky issues while an individual review focuses on content.
