However, the discounted rate of $14.95/month does not seem to be valid anymore. I can only get the normal rate of $17.95/month for DVD-resolution access. While $17.95 is not outrageous, it is disappointing to see that the discount no longer works for this site. I used to be a member, but I am now reconsidering whether to rejoin this site. Monahan (0) 09-10-07  02:34pm              TRUST USER?   YES (1), NO (0) Update of My Review I've been a VideoBox subscriber for a long time (2+ years) and am very impressed by its continuing low, low price, the volume of content (over 1800 videos added each year), the "review" section where users can post comments about each video and, indeed, each scene, and a reasonably accurate (about 95% of the time) model search interface capability. With 5 new full videos added each and every day, there are some "non-mainstream" videos, (trannies, midgets, etc.), far more than any other site and no limits at all. They have now added a flash feature so a member can check out a scene in good resolution with no waiting and also have an algorythm that will suggest videos based on a mermber's viewing history. (This feature can be disabled if a member doesn't want his history tracked.) For price, volume of content, quality and simplicity of the various features, I feel TBP's score of 98 is well deserved. (But if your into photos, not video, this site's not at all for you. No photos at all.) I am disappointed with 'Videobox' (or rather that my beef is valued to only 2%.) with regard to three issues: 1. Downloaded clips are NOT "DVD quality". 2. For those, like myself, who want to edit the clips (to cut the crap out -which = 60-80% of the total-) it is a nightmare to deal with the clips in the editing software, as the clips have been segmented to anything between 50 and 90 pieces. Why is this so? Nobody else seem to be doing this. 3. 'Videobox' is very busy, or full of themselves (arrogant?), as they more often than not can't be arsed to answer emails. But the preview is still the best. Because when you get into the site it's the same as ever. I've always loved the simplicity of the site and how user friendly it is. But, even I would say the site was starting to look stale, it has looked the same for over two years. The new change sees videobox taking a page from American Vice DVD site. Search within a search. Which to me is a great idea and should be on all DVD sites. Like if you search, "Latina" the Latina DVDs come up, you can then search "Anal sex" it will narrow all of those Latina DVDs down to ones with Anal Sex in them. I have only one complaint that I also sent in on their feedback thingamajig. At first, I couldn't find the download button. I kept clicking it, but it kept wanting to stream it. Finally, I noticed a little arrow on the button that you click and the resolution options pop up. I guess my favorite part of the new look is the index page. One could say this is biased, but one would be wrong. There truely is little that can be faulted with this site. The pricing is superb, made even better thanks to the offer on TBP, 5 new DVDs added daily is more than anyone would physically buy, and the content truely is DVD quality (assuming you pay for the premium membership). I couldn't not mention how awesome the website is in my comment. In terms of appearance and navigation, features and usability it's in a league of it's own. One can literally download exactly what they want. Perhaps a certain 5 minute snippet out of a 30 minute scene. The site will serve the download in seconds. Perhaps the only negative thing about the site is that some categories have lots of content, whereas others don't have much, and aren't frequently updated..... but when you take into account what is actually available, it's a website that you should definately allow your rebills to happen on as you'll be a member for a long time!
