In Feb., Vito commented that this site has a 300 zip file per 24hr limit.
Certainly not my experience. I've been a recurring subscriber to this site for years, and what thanks do I get? If I try to catch up and download more than THREE ZIP files (of just photos), Chicken Little wakes up in a panic and throws this "Security Alert!" bullshit page in my face, and I'm left having to plan my downloads in more detail as to when, what, and how many.

Update 072715: This has been resolved. See replies.
Here's a letter I just sent ccBill within 20 minutes of joining MPL Studios. PU Sysadmin, there isn't really a forum here to discuss account management systems, so I'm dropping this on the related website in the hope that both companies will notice. CCbill is generally MUCH better than the other account managers, but lately, I've had a lot of problems with them.
Here's the letter.
I’ve been happy to use ccBill and have been trusting you as a billing provider for years. Check my email address and you will see a history that is as long as your business has existed. But lately, service has gotten so poor that I am uncertain if joining a site that uses ccBill is worth it.
Tonight I joined MPL Studios for the first time. Not only did ccBill generate a RANDOM password and username, which I hate enough to cancel subscriptions over, but the lsgmodels login pop-up prevented me from toggling back and forth from the ccbill username page to the login. When I finally opened ccBill in a different browser and was able to get the insane user name and password info, the MPL Studios site would not let me in. I can only assume that I exceeded some kind of login attempt limit imposed by you.
Look, you guys are among the better account administrators out there, but I recently cancelled my subscription to met-art because I attempted to log in on several occasions and was unable to because YOUR login servers were down. I cancelled a subscription to Watch 4 Beauty because the random password was soo damn difficult to deal with, I gave up.
As a 20 year IT professional, I understand the importance of security, etc. You are going to tell me something like “the host web site required...” Bullcrap. As a leading service provider, you are in a position to explain to the host that random passwords cause them to lose customers. And a lockout after a certain number of attempts should redirect me to YOUR site to reset the account, not leave me mad enough to cancel the account immediately. In the end, any web based service must satisfy two needs to be successful. It must be convenient and it must be reliable. Random passwords make your service incredibly inconvenient and the inability of a user in good standing to log in to a site he/she paid for makes your service unreliable.
PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!
And while you are at it, unlock my account on MPL Studios so I can use the account I JUST PAID FOR!
==========
Now, after I wrote this letter, I went ahead and called ccBaill. They told me that MPL Studios will not allow them to reset passwords that get locked out and that only they can do it. So now I'm sitting here witha paid subscription I cannot use. I will be sneding a letter to MPL Studios, as well, and I have already cancelled my brand new subscription because no website should subject thier customers to this kind of nonsense.
MPL Studios is currently offering $19.95/month recurring.
Site says it's a limited time offer. This has been offered at this price before, but there's no way of telling how long this offer will last.
If you haven't been a member of this site before, and you like softcore teen photography in the style of Met-Art, you will probably like this site as well. High quality, glossy style softcore teen photos. They also have videos, with some that are HD. But the main draw is the photosets.
What a PITA! I'm usually obsessive about researching things but I dropped the ball on this one. I think I got myself locked out in less than 24 hours of my membership! The site owners are WAY too strict. I actually downloaded only 1 zip yet it appears they still locked me out anyway. I'm guessing simply looking at a lot of the sets is against their rules because I received an "Internal server error" message and now I'm looking at a blank browser. I already regret this site membership.
A comment or a question to the "conneseurs"....connaisseurs....here at PU!
We've had several good discussions about the (not viewing/tech) quality of MetArt vids - but the way they do erotica - or rather the way they do vids with a little too much "art" and less sexuality..
Just got back to some older MPL vids among my stash - AND: In spite of two SOMEWHAT similar sites (pix) those 1-2 years old vids has much more erotica that the stash I've got from MetArt..
Is that still up-to-date, is MPL still going strong (stronger) on fine/sexy softcore vids?
Just joined - and it really looks like MPL - though SOMEWHAT similar to MetArt has much better/more erotic/more sexy videos...anybody care to reply on that? (it's my first time membership here, believe it or not).
More a couple of questions than comment, but too small to make a thread:
The videos here at MPL seems a lot more erotic than MetArt and others alike - only seen some trailers here and there - this is one site I do not recall being a member of - ever.
It LOOKS LIKE videos with more sexy ways - the posing and some - almost - masturbation - again in a completely different style than MetArt videos. Is that close to? - And even with more indoor than outdoor shoots? - maybe because MPL now name their shoots 'Studio Girls'.
It's a somewhat high price, so before I join: Can anyone give some more video-details here....Thanks!
I just realised that MPL got a "new" design or better to say lost it's uniqueness and jumps on the train of passionless presentation. :(
I am really disappointed by this envelopment because of feeling fooled as a customer. Wonder that they haven't joined forces to build an all together website already *grrr
MPL Studios just released its first "Collector's Cut" series of Anya. This is what they've been saying about it in the member's area:
"Each 3000 res photo series will be created using photos previously not published with the set's initial release.
These "held back" photos are not rejects. They were intentionally set aside for future release. Editing techniques have improved in the last two years as well so the timing is perfect to now release these older, previously unpublished photos at 3000 resolution, now our standard release size."
My point here is that they DO look like rejects, aka "outtakes." You see lovely Anya not at her best. She squints and frowns a lot. (The poodle mutt that appears as well in some of the pics seems more content than Anya does.) Out of the 60 pics in this first series, I kept only 22. And I'm quite a fan.
Hopefully, future "cuts" will be better, but we'll see.
Looks a bit better than the old updates page, has the members area also changed? Navigation for models looks better but is this just the tour or is the members changed? I was hoping for a launch discount but no luck.
MPL Studios looks attractive, but expensive at $34.95/month. Is there a discount available anywhere?
I mean, really, the price is out of line with most other sites of a roughly similar offering. I'd like to get in to sample the wares, but not at that price.
I join them couple of times over the years, I love the site plenty of nice looking girls but their security & restrictions is getting too much. In fact I recently join and unable to even get in without getting their security alert page. I canceled the account.
Important:
No download manager allowed (Security Alert page stated 1 hour ban);
No proxy, socks & etc (Your IP range must meet their filter requirements);
I rejoined this fine site recently to update my collection. As I write this, I am downloading at a whopping 89kb/s. If you look at the homepage, MPL blames this on ice storms in the midwest (USA) which happened 3 weeks ago. If I didn't like this site so much, I'd get a refund. As the traffic reporter says, "expect delays"!
