"Olympus Has Fallen" is a huge disappointment, given that the director did "Training Day", which was such a great searing film, one that went against the grain and took real chances. Now he's doing this jingoistic, paint-by-numbers, official-enemy-of-the-moment anti-terrorist film -- what did he, have a lobotomy?

I'm sure there are other people that would be saying, "Asphyxia would be so hot if she only had her small tats on her shoulders - someplace less obtrusive than her face." It's the boldness of Asphyxia's facial art and the florid quality of Christy colorful sleeves that make it so exciting to me. When you see them have sex, it's artwork in motion.

I'm watching a brand new scene at EvilAngel.com featuring tatted up hotties, Asphyxia Noir and Christy Mack, thinking, "EA - you know what i like!" And I really like tatted up hotties!!!

They mainly promoted IE 10 for Windows 8, but the reviews say that it's pretty solid under-the-hood. It's certainly a world more stable than fucking Chrome, that's for sure! Microsoft is amazingly inconsistent for such a huge company. Vista was a crap OS, Windows 7 is quite good, then Windows 8 seems to have been their attempt to create an Apple-style closed universe without having anything appealing about it, so it's a disaster from a PR perspective. We recently had to go to Office 2010 at work and excel on 2010 is just a freaking disaster - you can consume all your system resources just trying to sort a simple spreadsheet. And there are 100's of threads railing about it. Have they patched it in 3 years to fix the problems - hell, no. They're imbeciles 1/2 the time, competent the other 1/2.

There were a number of updates available to me when I checked tonight, including IE 10. I figured, "Oh, well - here goes nothing." I decided to download it along with the various security updates that Microsoft had available, have had a little experience with it - it's not bad at all. It's geared to showing as much of the web page as possible, not taking a bunch of room with toolbars, etc, which is good. It seems simple and speedy and what else could one want from a browser? The one that's on my thumbs-down list these days is Chrome, due to its inability to play nice with Flash

Yeah, I thought that crap about - "our video shoot rules don't apply at Folsom Street Fair" - was really fucked up, just an excuse to not take care of the safety of a performer.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...0120307154328AAwQF9g Here's a full discussion of this topic. I use "off of" and feel quite comfortable being in the company of William Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, Harry S. Truman, and James Thurber in doing so. I don't see any reason to stop using it. It's obviously not a recent speech invention.

For those who value having a vibrant, diverse porn world, what tube sites have done is this: They've enabled Manwin and whatever their former names were to use their MANY tube sites to destroy the value of pay-sites so that they could go in and buy them at bargain prices and corner the porn market for themselves. They have certainly driven many porn producers out of the biz or into a moribund state. So they're a way for people to look at poor-quality clips to see if they would like to pay for high-quality material - that hardly seems like a reasonable trade-off for the massive destruction that they have caused.

Was anybody else into the really early Harvey Kurzman era Mad Magazine - before the Comics Code de-fanged everything? Their satires of Archie, with the whole group as juvenile delinquents complete with switchblades, were great acidic satire. And the artwork was really sexy - man, Betty & Veronica drawn by Mad's artists with their boobs practically bursting through their tight tops definitely got my adolescent juices flowing.

The other thing to consider is how much advertising helps them out. When I go to godsgirls.com, the most prominent chunk of that page is the "Updates From Our Friends" - and then below that are "Featured Sponsors" and then below that there are more ads. That all contributes to their financial picture.

I don't know about how much stunt work Burt Lancaster did in "OK Corral", but Tony Curtis talked about himself and Burt Lancaster doing stunt work in "Trapeze": "In Tony Curtis: The Autobiography, co-written with Barry Paris, the actor recalled that "some of the aerial stunts were so dangerous, even the doubles had doubles. But I did a lot of the ground tumbling, and some of the flying too. Burt and I did everything we could to make it easier in the cutting. I did a good chunk of the early bar work in the film, and that was really Burt and me walking on our hands."

In The Crack has truly awesome photography. Like ALS Scan, they clearly treat the photos to clean them up - one only has to look at the raw photography in sites such as ATK's to know that nothing in the real world is ever as perfect as the glorious images in In The Crack. But their treatment is spectacularly done, never does away with skin tone and does indeed look like they didn't touch a thing, which is a testament to their skill. I saw some samples of some recent beach stuff they did that was breath-taking.

Alex at ALS Scan told me a while ago that he and his staff all work on 30" monitors when they're working on their photo-sets. Their stuff is all cleaned up and you can definitely see treatment in the faces, especially, on their site, but it's not distracting as with the MANY sites that treat their photos to the point that they eradicate any skin tone. They just make everything cleaner and neater and prettier and more seductive, which is what a good pic site ought to do, in my opinion.

Japanese porn fans are lucky these days - Asiamoviepass is posting 20 or move vids a day, actionjav is posting about 15 vids a day - entire DVD's that is, in both cases. Jsexnetwork is being their usual weird selves, posting nothing one day, 5 vids the next. I've been sticking with Asiamoviepass, since when I was going to cancel I was offered a $9.95/month deal - which is pretty nice for 20 entire DVD's of new material every single day, 7 days a week. I like Japanese porn for a number of reasons - good tease, great tongue play, and it's unique. The idea that it would be better if it were more like US-porn is pretty silly, in my opinion. It's interesting because it's different - very different and very weird, as compared to US-porn - just look at the boob play in Japanese porn - the guys act like they have never seen boobs before in their entire lives and launch themselves on the women in a seemingly spastic manner, rarely able to actually touch the breast itself and then mauling it. It's hilarious! If someone wants to see Asian women in US-style porn, just watch Asian women in US-porn. If you want to watch Japanese porn, be glad that it's different. Vive le difference! ALS Scan has awesome high-res photography. The site owner hates boob jobs, so you won't see any on their sites. ALS Scan is by far the busier site, focused mainly on younger small-breasted models. ALS Angels is not as busy, focuses on women with larger breasts - natural breasts. Both sites have a trememdous amount of material, both indoor and outdoor. Their Caribbean trip material is legendary girl/girl material, and they have as much photography as they do vid - both wonderfully high-res.

They obviously have to re-sell it. They have a store - a big one - which I'm sure costs a great deal to keep open. And they're certainly looking to make a profit. I've never seen them be unethically low-ball on anything they were buying on the show, and having dealt with pawn shops personally, I've found them to be more ethical than many big-box stores that have the equivalent of pre-checked "joins" where you're all of a sudden being charged insurance for whatever you just bought. If you want to look at the real unethical business in this country, don't look at pawn shops - look at banks and credit card companies. I guarantee you that they fuck over people far and away more than pawn shops do.

In what way do they fail at making the Pawn Stars look like decent people? What's indecent about them? They're not "high-class" people, but then most people aren't. They're ordinary white people, practicing an entirely honorable profession. There is another "pawn shop" show that started on the heels of this one's success that is much more Jerry Springer-like - all focused on what weird losers all the people are that go into pawn shops, which is not what I've seen any time I've been the places.

There used to be a bank in the US called First Interstate, which was, you guessed it, one of, if not the first interstate bank, so I joined when I was moving to another state, figuring that would make it easy. Wrongo! They were the absolute worst. The only way you could get them to credit your account for transferred cash in a reasonable time, or get them to correct blatant errors that you proved they had made, was to scream in their faces until you turned purple and then have a friend call and claim to be your attorney and let them know that if they didn't call back within 10 minutes that you were going to sue them for sizeable damages. They'd cave every time with those tactics, but that's what it would take. I celebrated when those fuckers went under.

Exactly - the HSBC case proves that conclusively, Capn. Here was THE money-laundering bank, THE go-to bank of the drug cartels. The US government has imprisoned many thousands of people - especially young people of color - for drug offenses. They've locked away people for years for even the suspicion of raising money for support of organizations deemed to be "terrorist", but THE money-laundering bank, a bank that had detailed plans of how to cover up where money came from in order to move it around and profit from it - only had to give up 6 weeks profit in order to avoid ALL criminal prosecution for EVERYONE working for the bank that was involved in this stuff for years. The lesson for anybody paying attention - Don't just steal BIG, STEAL HUGE!!! Don't just commit minor crimes, commit GIGANTIC ENORMOUS CRIMES if you want to get away with it entirely. I bet 99.9% of the people in prison would have gladly given up 6 weeks of profit in order to avoid prosecution. The US Justice system - gotta love it!

I guess he should have moved to the US and laundered billions of drug cartel & terrorist-funding money like HSBC did - give the US government a chunk of it back and no jail time whatsoever. Ya just gotta steal MORE to be safer in this world!

I bought an Asus EEE Transformer Prime 10" tablet. Personally I wouldn't enjoy a 7" tablet. The screen's just too small. I really like my Asus. It's great to watch TV and movies on, it works fine as a radio with Pandora and browsing the internet is quite enjoyable as well. Pictures are gorgeous on it and it's an excellent e-reader as well.

I think you have it exactly right - it's hard to Stand Up Against Laws Opposing Human Trafficking - and most people didn't read it beyond the title and didn't know that 2 anti-human trafficking laws - ones that been through hearings with experts who had a chance to make sure they were actually semi-decent legislation - had been signed into law 2 weeks ago in CA, along with all the previously existing anti-human trafficking laws. This law was all about the main funder, who had previously run for Attorney General, having something he could hang his hat on when he runs for office again - "I'm the guy that helped Californians stand tall against human trafficking"

It will be interesting to see if this law gets stopped. I'm in Cali - but northern - this was an LA-area measure and it sounded reasonable to people so people voted for it. You can see that even sites like Met-Art oppose it because it requires dental dams and other types of "protection" as well as condoms. Wicked put a lot of energy into fighting it for that reason, even though they are an all-condom company. The other horrible prop passed in California - Prop 35 - an "anti-Human Trafficking" measure - also passed and has already been blocked by the courts. That horrible measure extended the definition of pimping and sex offender status so that, for instance if there is prostitution taking place on a landlord's property, then the landlord can be prosecuted as a pimp, since he/she would be an adult getting the financial benefit of the prostitution. Their property could be seized, they could be classified as a sex offender, put in that registry for life, forced to provide all internet log-in/password information to law enforcement, and required to inform law enforcement if they comment on any internet forums or join any internet groups within 24 hours. I'm not kidding.

A movie that has a story-line involving gamers controlling the action is probably not going to have the "special" appeal of a movie where the audience actually would control some of the action. It's true that it would be chaotic and could get silly with some people making their controlled-characters dance as opposed to any other actions. But that would be the fun of it. Certainly the whole midnight-movie phenomenon was fueled by the fact that audiences could have "inappropriate" responses - cheering the villians in silly slasher movies, etc. It shouldn't be under-estimated how huge the gamer-audience is. I went to PAX Prime, one of the biggest gaming conventions, in August - it sold out completely in less than 2 days - all 3-day-badges, all single-day tickets. This weekend, there was a campaign for gamers that stream their game-play for other gamers to enjoy, to do so for 24 hours and solicit donations for childrens hospitals in various cities in the US. There's one particular trio, who I find really entertaining, that participated in this campaign, had pretty humble expectations of what they would raise - in fact, as a trio, they raised almost $15,000 - they couldn't even set "goals" fast enough before they'd blown through them. Their larger team of gamers raised about $47,000 - and that was just one team in a larger campaign. It's a hungry and generous audience with money in hand. There are all kinds of ways that the intersection between games and movies, could, and should, be explored.

I liked this Resident Evil movie, mainly because it made me think of the next level of interaction between the audience and the film Since Resident Evil was launched from a video game, it would make sense to have a theater equipped with X-Box style controllers, where, during the battle scenes, audience members would be able to control some of the characters on screen - some of them could control some of the zombies, some could control some of the defenders against the zombies - like with games such as Borderlands 2, you would have the main Non-Playable characters in the battles along with a lot of playable characters controlled by the audience. It would be a blast, I'm sure there are many gamers that would be willing to pay a premium for such an experience

I don't get the fascination with poorly-shot un-posed upskirts and nipslips and flashes of nudity. Just the fact that someone is a celeb doesn't make every move they make fair game and it doesn't make every flash of skin erotic. There have been celebs, like Jessica Alba, that have played to the paps on the beach etc and some pretty erotic material was the result: http://www.thesuperficial.com/enlargedar...ikini-candids-04.jpg But a lot of this paparazzi telephoto-lens stuff - bleh! Kate M should be left alone and photographed at public events when she's got herself all primped and polished and looking her best.

Fans of ALS Scan model Ember might want to know that she passed away on April 9, 2012. ALS Scan has pulled down all of her content out of respect for her and her family. The circumstances of her illness and death are odd and a bit mysterious, as ALS Scan Alex described them in his blog - "A photographer friend of mine was on Skype with her on April 5th. She seemed fine. She was complaining she had a painful bump on her right breast, but said the doctors told her it was just a build up of fat tissue. She passed away on the 19th of April 2012." How a 30-year-old woman goes from basically fine to death in 2 weeks is a mystery to me. I'm sure her family was devastated. RIP Ember/Jaymie Anthony

I think that the OP is onto something - we here tend to be crazy collectors - myself included. But the rest of the porn-loving world is not so much - look at the popularity of mobile porn, which is as appealing to me as watching ants fuck. It wouldn't surprise me at all if many more casual porn fans are mainly streaming and jerking.

I got a chance to play Borderlands 2 at PAX this past weekend for a few minutes at Nvidia's booth. It looked beautiful. Nvidia was showing off their PhysX feature, which makes everything look lovelier, lusher, every hit have greater effects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpLtTBdq9cs This trailer shows with and without PhysX-enabling video cards. Anyway, I have to say that Borderlands 2 was as much fun as I had hoped it would be to play. I played as Maya, whose special ability is that she can levitate and immobilize enemies in a sphere and can keep shooting to do away with them while they are so immobilized. I'm even more anticipating Borderlands 2's release on 9/21.

Saints Row Third is perfect for what you describe, elephant. Especially playing co-op, it's one of the most fun games I've played, for my tastes - if you like sheer mayhem, that is - start a fight and the enemies come in waves, getting increasingly intense.

Yep - I watched it for a few seconds - had to shake my head to wake myself back up. I'll stick to the comical shooters.

Yes - I first started watching youtube walkthroughs to find out where to find this or that or how to beat particular enemies or whatever. But with my favorite games, the level of humor in the game leads to complete hilarity when watching co-op walkthroughs - there are video walkthroughs on Youtube - look for any involving Gassy Mexican - of both Borderlands and Saints Row: The Third that are funnier than anything on TV these days.

My favorite video game lately - Saints Row Three - lots of exploring to do, lots of mayhem to cause, the driving is easy even for someone as absolutely TERRIBLE at video game driving as I am and it's got a great sense of humor. You gotta love a video game where one of the melee weapons is a flacid dildo you can flail at people. The one down-side - there is co-op but no open-ended multi-player, so you have to have a friend that is interested in it at the same time as you as opposed to just hooking up with a stranger if you want whenever you want to play. I love the look of the game too. It gets compared to GTA, which I can understand, but for my tastes, Saints Row Three is WORLDS more fun! There are previous Saints Row games, but the graphics look rather crappy and I think I'd be disappointed if I tried them. So I'll look forward to the next one - coming out late 2013, most likely. ONLY 4/4 MORE WEEKS UNTIL BORDERLANDS 2 COMES OUT!! I'm dying to play that, should have a chance to play it a bit at Pax Prime, a gamer convention I'm going to just after Labor Day - going mainly to see Borderlands 2 before it comes out - and to go to the Gearbox panel.
