I do not think remakes of porn would really do much. It is about the performers. The same set and director would not make the same porduct if he used two different people no matter how hard he tried. Most porn scenes are remakes of each other. Think about it, the same thing happens in most porns. There is only a certain number of positions that can be filmed well so all they are doing is drawing them out of a hat and doing them. Boy this topic has swayed! This is exactly why I do not understand the need for hi bit rates on older DVDs. The only really thing I could think of is it might make it play a little smoother, but I am not even sure if that makes sense. But GCode, you mean if I make 10,000x8,000 video using my 10 year old HI-8 I actually do not have the best looking video in the world! Awe Man! I though I was going to have HD homemade porn without spending money. I guess it does not matter how awesome the content is if we can not see it well. While it is true that you can not really know if you will like it until you are there, it is nice to at least have an idea. Also, just because one person does not like a site does not mean that another will not. We are all different. But the amount of videos, types, updates, style of content are all factual items that anyone can find use for. The main part of TBP I look at is the facts page. I have never actually read one of their reviews. After all, an hour or two simply is not enough time to get a good handle on the site. Plus most sites have tours anyway that will give an idea about what is there, just not how much and how easy will it download. It really only takes one person to say there are no zips or that the site no longer updates. Also, we are building up a nice review database here. So it really is not necessary for 4 of them to review the same site that 20 of us have. We have painted a pretty good picture of the major sites. I would like for them to be able to give insight into some of the more obscure sites (read: non-reviewed). I am sure many of you feel the same as me, which is at least a little wary of joining completely unreviewed sites. It is always nice to have seen that someone has been there first, at least when it come to spending hard earn money anyway. I always watch stuff from Videobox at full screen and it seems to look fairly decent. They do use pretty high bit rates though. Not overly sure why. I can not say they are better or worse looking than other sites though. Honestly I would imagine it is about the same on any of the bag name DVD sites. But I would take the advise of others on this one. Then again, there must be a reason that Videobox is rated so high. Since you are using Vista you will actually have to tell it to display that. You can always have windows media player tell you, but that would take to long if you needed to know more than a handful of videos. Anyhow, in Vista you can tell it which things you want it to display. Under view select "details" then right click the on the horizontal bar that says "name" and such. "Dimensions" might show up in the little menu, if not the bottom should say "More". Click that and another menu pops up and you need to scroll down through until you find dimensions. Unfortunately Vista is retarded and a lot of video files do not register this way, so it does not actually tell you. Also, if you click the video once you can usually see the stats on the bottom of the explorer page. It will say "Frame Width" or "Frame Height". Hum...glad I like looking at real women! People seriously need to find something better to do. There are far more serious problems than people looking at cartoon porn. I say unless it is purposely made obvious that the cartoon character is a child than it is up to interpretation. What do they say about a 30 year old woman that looks like she is 12 posing nude? Unless they try to convince the viewer she is underage there should be no issue. Obviously if she holds up a sign that says she is 12 or in the 4th grade or something along those lines there should be consequences. Another thing that makes it even more amazing is that it seems we are from different races, age groups, countries, religions and so on. I do not know if this should strike us as ironic but people are always protesting porn and yet here we are, a civilized porn forum where people can speak their minds with practically no worries about people starting a "your momma's so fat" match. I think a lot of that comes from the fact this is a porn forum. A person has to be fairly sure of themself to come out and speak on topics such as porn. People who are sure of themselves usually find little need in insulting others for voicing their opinions. A confident person knows others will disagree and that is what makes the world go around. Someone who is insecure is more likely to resort to insults as a defense and is not as likely to put themselves on the porn forum limb. People emulate what is around them. A new member goes to a forum and sees a lot of name calling and various insults and they will likely do it themselves because it seems normal there. That same person can come here, see who members conduct themselves and do one of two things. One follow the example and be respectable, or two, feel that this forum is not for them and leave. Kinda like going somewhere that people wear a shirt and tie. Most people respond by either wearing a shirt and tie themselves to conform or simply do not go there. PU has fortunately turned into a shirt and tie forum. Something respectable and a place where good user conduct can actually be expected. I have seen it in a few places thus far, mostly in replies to user reviews. One person strongly disagrees with another views and such. What I have noticed is that these users do not seem to come back after the event. I guess there are those who would go through the sign up process just to call someone else and idiot. The forum has stayed pretty clean. Check out a video game forum sometime, they have a 20 word dictionary. This is the reason I stay here. I do not feel the need to come up with original insults to try to be "one up" on the next guy. And we do not seem to have the alpha dog man super ego I gotta be better than you thing going on. Everyone tries to stay on the same level. Everyone here understand that everyone is different and that is a good thing. Many of the "mediocre" sites will stay up, if not all that are up now. So long as they can get enough memberships to pay for the minimal upkeep and hosting they will be there. These junk sites and ones that are still up but have not updated in years are simply raising their prices to keep up with other sites and paying bargin basement prices for their hosting. So they only need a few people per month to float. Now if the major sites go to this supposed stream only deal then these shitty non updating sites will have an edge. People looking to download will have no where else to turn. Damn it WittyGuy, stop putting porn on my computer so I cant be the Mayor of India! :) India of all places can not afford to be particular about what goes on with in the internet. After all practically their entire economy is communication based. Kinda of an oxymoron if you ask me. The guys there can not look at porn to satisfy their craving, so I guess the only other option is the real thing. I would suspect this may feed into their population issues a little. Imagine calling a trouble shooting hotline for a computer issue and the India guy on the other end has to ask you first if you have porn on your computer. Another question to raise is are these webmasters truly losing money on stolen content? Here is my point. If I never intend to pay you a penny for your stuff than you lose nothing. There was no potential for you to earn the money off of me. Also, if I steal the content from a tube site then it cost the tube site money to send it to me, not the actually owner of the content. So, if I truly never intend on giving you a dime you lose nothing so long as I am not downloading from you. What this leads to is you are protecting your content from paying customers and then you lose money. This idea has been thoroughly beaten here in this thread. I believe the real issue these webmaster are contesting is not the idea of people stealing content, after all they would never pay anyway. Rather, it is the idea that us PAYING customers can download a site and cancel. Them after the cancel still view the content because it is on our computers somewhere. What they want to do is force us to continue paying the monthly fee for as long as we wish to view their content. Remember that "gem" video you have. Would you keep paying $30 per month to be able to watch it every time you feel the urge to do so. Something for these content providers to consider is that the US is tending toward very strict bandwidth limits. Some cities are experimenting with as low as 5 GB per month! So remember that 500 MB "gem' you found last night? Well if you want to watch it again today you have to burn through another 500 MB. And guess what, the content provider, yes that is you webmasters, has to fork out the bandwidth fee on yet another 500 MB to send the EXACT same thing out. If as this particular person is claiming is true, I believe they will see a sharp decline in sales. After all, how many of us have enough porn to get them by until they realize the error in their ways. I simply would not pay for sites until they changed back and would life very comfortably off of what I have already hoarded! :) So as the great wiseman Eric Cartman many times said, "Screw you guys, I am going home!" I have not had issues with either one of those companies. I would say to use which ever one you may intend to use again in the future. A good number of sites use epoch. My rule of thumb is the fewer people you give information to the better, and if you forget who processed your information to join a site the fewer places you have to guess the better. Wait...I thought all we were was pervs! :) I do not believe the drinking age should be changed. 21 somewhat ensures that people will be out of high school before they can begin heavy drinking. Well at least it should ensure that. Most kids turn 18 while being high school seniors, and this would certainly the tail end of that year much worse for them. I knew kids who drank anyway, but because it was not legal they had to be more discrete about it thus did it less and made sure not to be found out by teachers and such. Leave it as it stands. As Chef from South Parks said "there is a time for everything, and it is college." Let them get out of high school before screwing them up. Sounds like your collection brew as mine, unorganized! Mine is a mess due partly to previous laziness and largely to it being spread over many disks. If you find a good solution please let me know! My download manager grabs streams anyway. So if they go to that method it will not change anything. There is such a thing. There is handful of DVDs that the flip side is all trailers. Kinda an off point. But I wonder if one were to copy a trailer and give it to his friends if the company who made the DVD would be angry. Obviously the would be upset about people copying the feature DVD, but the trailer disk is all advertisement anyway. Just something I never thought of before. Since we have your attention I noticed something find funny on your sign up page: Join via ccbill $24.99 for 30 days $24.99 30 days recurring $60.00 for 90 days $60.00 90 days recurring The price and duration are repeated. You might want to fix that. The worst place to have weird things or typos in on the sign up! Otherwise it looks very promising. What is the resolution and bit rate and such on your videos? I agree with Toadsith. The full preview is great and everyone should do it. But you still should have a small true preview page. Put a few pictures and a minute of a video to really show us what we are getting. Just dont do "extra" work on those pictures and video clip to make them look extra good. Keep that part honest. It looks like the layout is okay, but it is hard to tell without joining first. The best advice I can give there is try to reduce the amount of clicking it takes to get to the videos or zip files. nubiles is an awesome example of keeping it click simple. All the files that go with a model are on a single page. Very simple and very easy, and guess what they get good ratings! But I think WittyGuy did a good job of hazing you for the first post. :) We try to be reasonable here and love telling webmasters what to do, especially when they listen. I doubt you will get the answer to what a perfect site is from your competitors, but you might get close by asking those who ultimately pay the bills and decide who rises up and who sinks. If you want to make money you really will have to aside you inhibitions and do some nude. There is no true need to go into hardcore porn if you feel that is not for you. But, if you want to bring enough money in to make it worth your while you are likely going to have to show something worth paying for. You cam do some pretty classy stuff if you want, check out MetArt for example, or at least some of their free stuff and you will see what I mean. You are right. I do not know of ANY! Might try sites like Met-Art and Sapphic Erotica, both of these have sister sites as well that are all girl. I know these are not networks but they have a huge amount of content. Same goes for FTV Girls. Nubiles has some hardcore but not a whole lot. Reality Kings does have a couple sites on their network with all girl. But as for a Network featuring only solo and girl on girl I have heard of none. This is a shame because I would jump all over it if it existed. The Only sites are very soft, basically a playboy magazine in motion with large percent of the scenes not even showing pussy. I do not agree completely with the views of many of you on this topic and believe there have been countless great movies in the past 10 years. I am sure we can agree on one thing. I have noticed that a great deal of movies coming out in the past 10 years or so are simply remakes or highly similar spin offs or movies created decades ago. I just seems that many people can not come up with good stories on their own. I do want to bitch about a specific movie here. In on of the Transporter movies the guy has a bomb stuck on the bottom of his car. He, while being shot at, ramps the car off a sideways ramp gets the car to spin and gets a crane hook to attach to the bomb a second before it blows up! This is the sort of thing I believe that makes many otherwise decent movies look like a joke. We all know that only James Bond can pull that maneuver off and it should be kept that way. If you watch In The Name Of The King, gee same actor even, it is nothing more than a rip off of Lord of the Rings and all the King Author stories. So while I believe some great movies have been released this past decade I must say they have released some total junk and wasted some potential great story lines because they could not use a little tack. Well, lets wait and see before putting too much judgment on it. It seems a lot of people are jumping the gun and saying the movie will be a disappointment. As an American I love seeing people "blowing shit up." But the when there is well thought out stories lines and it is even better. Blowing shit up for a reason is the best type of movie. I was always a big fan of the Star Trek episodes when larger battles were waged and particularly the Borg aspects of Voyager. There was a lot of action but they made me feel like there was something more at stake than the destruction of something. I am a firefox fan as well. I usually avoid IE when I can. I remember using Netscape back in the day. It has been a long time though. The one problem I have with firefox is it uses a ridiculous amount of memory. I have tried the tweaks and the do not seem to change this, and when I look to see what other people have changed in the about:config they are showing things that do not show up in mine even though I use the same version? Any thoughts? After all video74.wmv means something to me right as I download it but 10 minutes later it is useless. I always sort things based on the website they come from. This has many advantages when it comes time to update from a site a year later and you lost your notes on what was last downloaded. On things you can consider doing if you like to sort by model name but like to know what site it came from, and be able to later run a search and get a list of everything form that site, is to have the site name be part of the file name. Example: Model name is Kate Site name is BustyBrides, I wonder if that exists yet? So you name the file "Kate - BustyBrides.wmv' Obviously you do not want to type in this for every file. You can get macro programs to do all the extra typing for me. I use a keyboard remapper that does a decent job at this. Set the way I do I highlight "Kate" on the page, press "`" to copy it(my shortcut) and click to download the file then replace the name by, for me, pressing "1" which is the macro that will type in " - BustyBrides" thus I end up with the desired file name. Of course this takes a lot of manual work as well, but I do it as I am queuing up for my downloads and then do not have to worry about it any more. It is a very handy way to cut down on the amount of repetitive typing. I am just happy they have not forgotten about such an important franchise. This does make me wonder if there really is a new series coming out. It only makes sense to do so after a movie. It is a great way to catch a new audience. I think the movie will be good. I am concerned about them keeping the facts straight though. So long as some truly geeky people are working with them I am sure they will be kept straight. With sure a long bloodline of Star Trek I think it would be hard to totally screw it up, but I would not put anything past anyone in Hollywood who is looking to make a buck. I just hope it is worthy of the Star Trek name. Speaking of which I hear an episode of ST Enterprise calling me. I am working on season three where they are in the Expanse looking for who ever is planning on destroying Earth. I watched an episode this morning where I merchant was trying to sell them some damn fine women. Reminded me of a site mentioned a few months ago that allows members to buy used socks. While underwear would be more appealing than socks, I still can not see allure in buying them. It would be another thing if at a convention or something the woman would wear a pair while talking to my and then take them off and sign them. That I could go for since there would be some sort of memory there. But who knows if the undies in the mail were even worn by the woman? Spamming and talking are two different things. There is reason for anyone to cry spam if you are not frequently trying to sell your site. Us users really do want to hear from you guys. We usually jump at the idea of giving webmasters suggestion when they ask for them. The staff here have put together a little porn community that has attracted a small group of the internet porn views eliet. Throw ideas at us and see what we think, give us your take on political issues, or just BS about a recent baseball game. Dont worry, if you say something bad we will yell at you and send you to your room but we will not boycot your site. Webmasters are people too. I really am not sure why webmasters do not spend a little more time here. There is great potential to build customer trust beyond simply what comes from good content. It is comforting for many people to see that the people they are sending their money to actually exist and can be called upon to help them if needed. There is also great opportunity to get feedback from the users you know are spending money. We all know there is a difference between someone saying "I want this" and someone say "I want to pay to get this." And you will find the latter here. We are paying customers, and some of us are hopelessly paying addicts(This should read: $ $ $). Many people pay loads of money to advertise there stuff but posting here is free. You do not even have to say much about your site, in fact that would get annoying. But if you are actively talking to us about many of the other topics we discuss here we will eventually click your name to see who you are and possibly check out your site(s). And there you have it. You advertised and built trust without being annoying or paying. Messmer. I believe a large part of the reason is that we do not get to meet these women in our beloved porn videos. We only see them for what they are shown as. Many people have admitted that they see a less than stellar looking woman and once they get to know them they begin finding them more attractive, and that is great. This simply does not happen with porn. Personally I love breast implants. I do not prefer them to the natural ones by any means. Fake breasts can be a great thing and I have absolutely no issue with seeing a lot of them in porn. When the woman chooses a size that is not unnatural they can really compliment her. Many times when the women are clothed the ones with fake breasts look better than those with naturals. Of course those like Amy Reid tend to challenge that. I know a young woman who has fake breasts and many people she encounters do not realize they are not real. Even at up close and wearing tight revealing clothing they look mostly natural. This is because she have a moderate size put in that was not too much for her body. For her they do nothing but compliment her figure. In her case she did not believe she was ugly or had self esteem issues. After having them done she was not disappointed with the size or how they looked. To be truthful they do not look overly fake when nude. Someone looking from any distance would be hard pressed to realize they were not real. Of course this all describes one person not the masses. The point being that when used within reason breasts implants can go a long way toward enhancing someones appearance. Is it degrading to like the natural look of a woman? Of course not! I believe it is natural for men to be attracted to larger breasts. It is part of the reproductive system and larger breasts signifies a larger ability to reproduce at least subconsciously. It is the ability to reproduce that drives men to women, this is a basic instinct. We tend to like to see large breasts in porn because we wish we could be with a woman like that in real life. Since most women do not have a tiny waist line and huge breasts we turn to where we know we can find that and that is in porn. Of course the large breasts are not real but the desire for them is and that is all that matters. Since we can not feel them or use them it does not matter how they got there as long as they are there. My cousin who was in high school in South Carolina was charges a $1,000 fine for throwing a little gravel in his school parking lot. Mind you the cop did not see it and he was driving a Camaro. A rear wheel drive car with about 5 pound on the back wheels, in other words he just spun the wheels a little and his principal did not like it. However, even if he did a massive burnout is a $1,000 fine appropriate for a 16 year old with no previous record? Most 16 year olds have never seen $1,000 let alone can afford to give it up for a fine. Oh yeah, a friend of his who was not around when all this happened received a ticket for "lying" when he said he did not know what happened because he was not there. My buddy was recently pulled over for going 104 I believe the number was. Although I do not recall exactly what his fine was I can tell you it was no where near $800. If you check out superspeeders.com they have a few trialers to their DVDs. In one scene the guys are pulled over and the cop tickets them and lets them go after being caught doing 190 mph in their Ford GT40. I recently read of a few states introducing a super-speeders law. Basically people who are known speeders or are caught speeding excessively will be penalized much great than someone caught doing 80 in a 65 for example. Exotics. I have this cheap $30 DVD player that CAN play WMVs. It can not play mpegs though. So anything I put on a DVD that is WMV it can play. It is not as pretty as an actually DVD but it works non the less. You would have to look for the windows logo on it. I looked on Ebay and have found others that claim to be able to read mpegs. If you want to look there sort the listing with the cheapest first. It seems that the cheap ones are more likely to be able to do this.
