Thanks for the comments, Denner. I like a lot of the European public nudity and flashing sites too, but Public Flash is quite different. Many European countries seem to have a more relaxed attitude to sexuality so those sites can get away with more than those in the U.S. With Public Flash, they show less nudity than the European sites but are in a real way more daring because of the risks involved. One thing I like about Public Flash site is that they show the set-up and you get a sense of how much fun the model is having and how excited she is at being 'naughty.' That element is missing from many of the European sites that simply have a nude woman walk naked down a main street. The American site Nude in L.A. is a lot like the European sites in that they do full nudity on the streets of Los Angeles, but they don't show the preparation and the nervousness. It all seems rather clinical.
One other site I'd recommend is FTV Girls. This is a well known site that doesn't market itself as a public nudity or flashing site but that has some great public stuff. All of the models are stunning, and most do some public stuff before going indoors for full nudity and masturbation. If you're a fan of public nudity and flashing and haven't been a memeber of FTV Girls yet I'd recommend considering that too.

It had been about two years for me too so I also wondered if there would be enough updates and if there would be improvements. I can tell you that there are new videos, and the highest resolution is an improvement over what they had in the past. In the past, the highest resolution was 630x470 and now it is 1280x720. Subjectively it looks fine.
I think I'll edit the review to give more objective information.

I’m a big fan of public flashing and nudity and there are few sites that do it like I like it. There are sites that offer European public nudity that offer more videos and are better organized, and there are sites that have American public nudity that are more risqué (Nude in L.A. comes to mind). This is a personal opinion, but those sites lack or don’t show the models being nervous and excited at the same time. Those sites treat public nudity as being an everyday occurrence. Not so with Public Flash. This site has a bit of a corny set-up for each and then moves into various open or public venues. Panties and bras are slipped off and then the model walks through various locations and flashes. Full nudity happens, but is rare. This may sound simple, and it is, but for fans of public flashing and nudity this is a site worth looking at.
As for the models, there is a decent variety. Most fit the typical porn mold by being young (18-25) white and petite. But there are some models who are fuller-figured, larger-breasted, older or different skin tones. Most of the models are amateurs (or at least that I haven’t seen before) but there are a few big name porn stars who appear, presumably early in their careers. This includes Aubrey Addams, Amber Rayne and Faye Runaway.
The site, like the models, is fairly amateur. Searching isn’t really an option, but since each segment has a big thumbnail you can see whether that model might be to your liking on the main page before you click the link. My biggest complaint is that there are no full length videos: each of the scenes is divided up into smaller segments. I realize why they do this for updating purposes, but once all the segments are posted I wish they’d offer a link for the full video.
The videos are offered in two resolutions, but only in wmv format. The best format isn’t bad, but it isn’t HD. The current best is 1280x720, though older videos haven't been updated and are still at 630x470. There are pictures available too, but they are not available in a zip format for easy capture.
Updates are fairly regular – appearing every few days – but each update is only two segments of the full video. It takes a couple of weeks for an entire video to be posted.
Still, for all the flaws, I’m willing to cut this site some slack. I may be wrong, but I suspect that this is one of the hardest niches to work in due to the risk. This isn’t filming sex in the back of a panel van or on a set in someone’s living room: these scenes put the models and crew at some legal risk in our Puritanical culture. The outcome is some fun video to watch as nervous young women flash in public.
This site offers decent value for the monthly fee if you like this niche. |

I'll admit that my position is untenable and would be completely rejected by the soccer moms (of both genders), but I think that distractions during work should be prohibited. During a lunch break if Jane wants to do some online gambling and Jim wants to look at some porn with his office door closed, so what?
I remember about 10 years ago a senior officer in the Canadian Navy had his career killed after it was revealed that while staying in a private room in an officer's quarters on a base he plugged in his own laptop to the network at looked at (gasp!) Maxim. The bureaucracy hung him out to dry. To their credit, most civilians came out in support of the guy.
If no one else can see what you're looking at and you're on a break, I don't support the fear of sexuality.
Now if you happen to be having a wank while looking at that porn, that might be a little different...

I eventually took the additional channels too and agree that they are definitely worth the additional cost. They don't update as often so they may not be something to keep a membership with, but they are definitely a good value.

I've commented here before that it seems a lot of the big studio sites seem to be an after-thought. Yes, I know that they are in the business of producing movies and not necessarily distributing them, but it seems to me to be obvious that the internet is the most popular way to distribute porn, and certainly will continue to dominate porn distribution. Sites like Hustler and Diabolic just don't seem to take the internet seriously.
I've used Hot Movies and sites like that before, but they can get pretty expensive and most of them have some DRM attached.

Thanks for the great review. This is a site that I would definitely want to join but thanks to your review and the review at TBP I won't. If all they offer is streaming, then my credit card stays in my wallet. I can understand a company wanting to protect their material, but streaming only will limit their customer base.

messmer - I wish I could give you a better answer, but I really can't remember it that well. My recollection is that there were two bonus sites but that the material wasn't that great. It wasn't worth joining just to get the bonus sites. The primary site, HD Porn, is a great site though and I intend to renew my membership soon. I wish I could be of more help... sorry!

Your comment brings back memories of seeing 8mm films and low-grade projectors available by the hundreds at the back of most porn magazines. I remember wanting to order some but knowing that they'd be seized at the border. Remembering this makes me grateful for new technology.

For me it is a mix of having lost it and can't remembering it. I remember my favorite scene in it, but the stars and title are lost in the mists of time. For the past few years I've rebuilt a substantial portion of my original collection from searching the internet. I'll likely never replace the first movie I saw because I simply can't remember what it was.

I'm fine with someone giving a 100% score. For me, the details in the review are what count. If a reviewer feels that a site deserves a 100% score, then they have to back that up with some good reasons why that is the case. I recall once giving a 99% to one of the sites at Kink.com (Public Disgrace, I think) because it is so well done and so innovative i really think they deserved a high score. But obviously if you aren't into what the site offers, then you wouldn't share that opinion. I like to think I gave enough detail to justify that score so that someone not into public BDSM wouldn't join the site based on the score alone.

For me it was in catechism class at our Catholic church. We learned all about the various parts of the female body and how they look at various stages of sexual arousal, and we read a lot about how to get them into that state of arousal, which would have obvious benefits for us males. It was a really effective education.
Oh wait... maybe I'm confusing that with found copies of Penthouse, Hustler, Oui, Swank, Club, etc. Yeah, that's probably more accurate.

RustyJ - the B C and D thing is just subjective. Many of the posts at Videobox just aren't Grade A material. I also agree that much of the older Private stuff is excellent. I'm a big fan of Private and have been for a long time. The stuff that gets posted to Videobox isn't very good though. This is certainly a personal thing, but I really don't like boy-boy-girl scenes and those seem to be more common than boy-girl in a lot of the Private titles that get posted on Videobox.

Yes, I realize that this is probably the most reviewed site here at PU, and yes, I also realize that this is the third time I’ve reviewed this site, but I wanted to update my opinion of the site and I figured that a comment wouldn’t suffice. I also added the premium channels this time too.
I’m a big fan of Videobox. I’ve had friends who’ve asked for recommendations on porn sites and I’ve sent them to VB. VB is an excellent way to build a large, good quality porn collection. It has enough variety to satisfy all but the most unusual tastes, though the search function (or lack thereof) makes finding what you want more difficult. A site this large needs a better means of searching.
VB is big enough and well known enough that one bad review won’t hurt it. I’m still a fan, but less of a fan than I have been. The thing I think that is dragging VB down is, ironically, what is one of their big selling points: five updates a day. The problem with having five updates a day is that this emphasizes quantity over quality. When they’re putting five new DVDs up per day, every day, regardless of your tastes there will be an awful lot of crap being uploaded.
To fill their daily quota VB relies heavily on European porn. I prefer American porn, but that’s not my motivating point here. There is good European porn and there is bad European porn. (Same with the U.S.) The problem is that VB seems to rely on more bad European stuff than good stuff. Take Private – they are (or at least used to be) a high-quality studio. I only learned that they also crank out complete crap thanks to VB. This is grade-B and C Private stuff.
Another pet peeve of mine that is also caused by the daily update schedule is the use of a lot of compilation DVDs. The problem is that with many of the compilation DVDs VB has already posted the original. Luckily someone usually points out the duplication. But VB gets to count another update without really updating anything.
On the plus side, VB has recently been adding older Seymore Butts titles. These are great to see again.
They’ve also started adding some Diabolic titles too. There aren’t many up yet, but these certainly move the quality balance in the right direction.
For the first time, I also added the ‘premium’ channels. These really add to the value of the membership now that they are bundled for the fee. They are a bit pricey, but they do offer good value with both channels having just under 400 titles posted now. A new title gets added to each channel every two or three days.
Is VB still a great value? Definitely. But they should modify their business model now that their so far ahead of the competition and focus on quality rather than quantity. I’d be satisfied with one update a day to have better quality. |

Back in the days before portable storage was affordable I had my entire collection burned onto DVDs. There were hundreds of DVDs and storing those became a problem so I voluntarily culled my collection. Now that portable storage devices are cheap and plentiful, I have everything on those and those are backed up on larger drives. Never again will I delete porn.
Sort of on the same topic, back before digital porn i had a collection of VHS tapes that I also had to dispose of for storage reasons. I've since been able to locate most of my favorite old titles digitally.

"Dirty underwear on some" That's a hoot! I remember years ago reading something written by a photographer or videographer and he said that he sweated the details like making sure the bottoms of the girl's shoes were clean. It sounds like the guy who shoots for this site isn't that detail oriented. To hell with making sure their shoe bottoms are clean, he needs to make sure their bottoms are clean!
