I've never understand why interracial should be presented as "taboo" or "exotic," which sound like naïve terms left over from colonialism.
Hell, I don't even understand why the term "interracial" should be used, if you are judging porn by the color of the performers' skin (beyond the color of their tattoos) then I don't think the porn is to blame. But I do think love and lust can be great equalizers--libidos are surprisingly free of prejudice. : - )

I can't say how many US citizens speak anything else but English but plenty of us have enough trouble with just English alone. : - )
Of the people I've talked to from Scandinavia (mostly from bands in Norway and Sweden touring the U.S.) their English seemed better than many Americans, at least in terms of grammar. Obviously accents can sound "foreign" and certain expressions and words can be out of place here in America, though that may be more culture than anything else.
For example, I recently heard a guy from Norway use the term "molesting" in describing someone getting beaten up, but to Americans that almost universally means child rape(!), so it really stuck out.
Though proper nouns--names, places, etc.--are a pretty universal language at least.

Considering my age I guess I should be wasting-uh, I mean spending all my time online on social network sites but I'm too much of an outcast even for those...yet somehow I fit right in at PU. : - )
As for the the Facebooks and MySpaces, I'm not really that antisocial but I'd just rather meet and interact with people in person, and so I just don't get anything out of those sites, whether it's stalking some old crush or just learning way too much information about a friend. Plus I feel genuinely uncomfortable devoting so much of my online presence to describing the who, what, when, where, how, and why of my boring day-to-day activities and thoughts.

Great review Messmer! It can be a very hefty site in terms of disk space, not to mention the hours spent ogling the videos and pics. They have also been one of the fastest downloading sites I have ever subscribed to...so you can spend more time watching instead of waiting.
Loved reading this comment: Tell the truth I am actually starting to get used to shaved. In the words of the Emperor from Star Wars, "Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!" [Evil laughter]. : - )

Messmer, I couldn't remember from when I was a member but do they allow member voting for these mass auditions, or is it just BTS long after the audition?
It'd be pretty cool if they allowed a democratic audition selection but I bet the webmasters would have some serious disagreements. Hell, they've been selecting ALS-approved models for well over a decade I'm sure they have a more finely tuned wow-factor meter. ; - )

It does look like it has a more serious use than helping people with their orgasms (though that's pretty serious too). Metal detector? Cleaning tool? Multipurpose kitchen gadget?
I can only imagine the infomercial: "It's a pressure washer for your car and house! A shower cleaner for that extra tough soap scum! A Geiger counter for your radon-filled basement! It even helps your loved ones achieve orgasm, regardless of gender! It's over 10 gadgets in one, for only 5 easy payments of $9.99! Call in the next 10 minutes and we'll throw in this travel size surge protector for free!" : - )
I do love how it's made by a giant industrial corporation. Kind of like if GE started making one here in the U.S., assuming they don't already. Then you could also trade stocks in a company that makes sex toys.

They're like strip clubs--fun to watch for a little while, but it all feels like an elaborate show to get you to fork over more money.
I'm not saying we shouldn't have live webcams or strip clubs--or even combine the two so I can drool and ogle in private--but in reality they're just never as fun as you think they would be.

Hmm, I was going to say more because of all the piracy and tube sites but it looks like I might be alone, but what else can so easily protect content?
Sometimes I wonder, if the porn industry is huge and still growing (uh, no pun intended...), but so many of its products are enjoyed free of charge, there must a ton of people privately getting their fill of good ol' dirty entertainment, and I mean a lot more than we think. : - )

I'm afraid none were that memorable, probably because they were all innocent asexual crushes long before I knew what a pearl necklace or money shot really were. : - ( By the time I was having my first serious crushes--years after I had seen a few of my female friends nude, go figure--I was not too interested in "grown-up" women...and I'm still not!
Early twenties and somewhat sexually naïve is just right for me...or pretty much any girl brave enough to go out with me. Right now I see the truly grown-up women as not that attractive, though that probably has more to do with the child(ren) and husband in tow more than the age (many are younger than me anyway).
It's probably for the best that I missed out on my Debra Lafave moment.

I at least try and watch more but it rarely helps that much (maybe because everyone looks so happy in whatever porn I'm watching?), though it can help when I'm stressed out and/or pissed off.

Great question.
I'm not really sure what "a reasonable amount" is but in my opinion I would generally say "No." Diversity seems to mean making a lot of sites and videos pretty plain, ethnically speaking. Thus you have your exclusively Asian, black, Latina, etc. sites. Even including more than one race seems to require labeling it interracial, though this is probably to gain a wider audience not a narrower one. Just seems so inconsequential to me.
I don't think people really care that much about it deep down--lust/love is usually pretty colorblind! In fact when I hear or see someone ranting and raving against someone or some group because or race or ethnicity my first reaction is to think he or she probably just needs to get laid. ; - )

Though he probably still has a healthy porn habit too.

I agree; if you have an Internet connection then you pretty much have as much access to porn as the most depraved members of society do. I mean does anybody really feel the same way surfing for porn online as they did stealthily walking into an adult "boutique" or the better section of the local video store?
Even if few people admit to it in "polite" company (which just seems rude to me) I bet a lot more people regularly view porn than would ever admit. That and the craziness of all these fetishes, and even standard boy-girl hardcore, have all gone pretty extreme with the 'net which doesn't make for a very good conversation starter.

I'm probably too young to give much perspective on what the stigmatization was a few decades ago (though many celebrities and even some politicians boasted of seeing "Deep Throat" in the theaters in the '70s), but I am American and sadly that means there are a wide range of things that are considered acceptable across different parts of the U.S.
For example, Texas has pretty strict laws against sex toys (okay, not porn, but related) but fairly loose guns laws, so is that stigmatization? (Interestingly, it was also a Texas anti-sodomy state law that was challenged and eventually struck down by the Supreme Court a few years ago, thus legalizing dirtier sex nationwide. Woo hoo!)
So...in San Francisco you probably won't be ostracized, but in a place like Salt Lake City it's probably best to keep it hush-hush.
We're Americans: we get off on war and violence but are disgusted by sex and nudity. Go figure. : - (

I own and use a Mac, quite happily I might add, but I'm not a mindless follower. I don't have any interest in their phones, pads, monitors, etc. (do have a 5yr old iPod though, still works) and I wouldn't even think of owning them, much less lining up overnight to pay the buzz premium they seem to charge on brand new crap.
Sorry, not a gadget or specific OS whore, but most OSs seem to be perfectly fine for me...porn seems to "work" the same either way.

Lol! I'm sure when you're with a girl half your age you can fire off a couple just as accidental discharges--though I wouldn't know because it'll still be a few years before a girl half my age is not 100% illegal--but I still seem to have a sensitive trigger! : - O

Lol! Maybe they'll make a porn parody of that latest bender of Charlie's and Kacey will play herself. At least she was smart (or just plain greedy) enough to cash his check immediately.
I doubt you can actually buy love, though definitely sex. I think "love" in this context really means lust, which many mistake for true love. This sounds corny, but I don't think you can put a price on love, but it seems to be a rare commodity.

I think in an off-camera and unheard capacity it could be fun and rewarding (or horrifying and demeaning, the porn world's your oyster) but on camera--no way!
I'm not sure if it's physically possible for me to be in shape, much less in a toned, tanned, and 'roided condition. I think working in a job where my coworkers have to spend their time either looking at my ass or maneuvering a camera next to it just isn't worth it. And if real life is any indicator I would probably be out of job once the women realized they never want to have sex with me again.
So...screenwriter, editor, director: yes! Actor, stunt double: no!

"While I can live with hair now and then and even a landing strip, all assholes should be shaved clean! It is not that I am interested in see it, it just seems dirty when it is hairy as well. Perhaps this is just me..."
Totally agree here! Yes, they should absolutely shave them, hell, zap it with electrolysis so it never grows hair again!
My guess is it looks too close to that hairy man mess we all inevitably see (come on, admit it) when we watch hardcore scenes and it gets to a closeup. The stuff nightmares are made of...
