Yeah, of course the only reason I even have IE is because I need it for work... My lady prefers Safari for some reason, I find it almost as unstable as IE.

Pros:
-Some attractive ladies
-No DRM
-Reasonable sized collection, 128 scenes at the time of review
-Interesting concept, most of the talent plays around pretty well
-Newer stuff is good video quality, 620x360 WMV with 4500 kbps total bitrate
-Download speeds are good if you use a download manager, not so great through browser (300 KB/sec browser, 900 KB/sec with manager)
-Bills through CCBill, didn't have any experience with customer service
-Exclusive content, including some ladies I hadn't seen before anywhere
Cons:
-No real navigation to speak of, just a list of the sets. However, pretty much every model only appears once.
-Site is very very bland, nothing really there except the long list of scenes (unsortable) and a link to friends' sites.
-No photosets at all
-Camerawork can be iffy, since it is mostly filmed with the combination of POV and a tripod, the angles aren't always good - and the guy sometimes gets up to move the camera around (they don't edit this part out)
-Sort of expensive given the amount of content
-Not all download managers work (DTA did, GetRight didn't)
-No bonus content
-The video quality of the older sets is pretty poor - worst I saw was 480x360 1800 kbps.
-Infrequent updates, only one per week
-Oddly the guy blurs out his face with a big blurry Japanese mosaic kind of thing, which can be a bit distracting.
-Model attractiveness is variable, and there are LOTS of tattoos.
Bottom Line:
For what this site is I think it is pretty decent. Its main drawbacks are the older content's quality, the price, and the size of the site. If they merged this site with their sister site (Exploited College Girls) for the same price, the site would defintely become more reasonably priced.
The site has an interesting concept, and there are even a few scenes where the girls decide to back out, which adds some realism I suppose. The concept for the most part is that he tells the girls they can make 1k-5k per day doing private videos for his customers that only the customer will ever see - but of course he has to kick the tires on the ladies first.
Considering the style of site, I didn't find the dude to be that much of a jackass, compared to similar sites like BangBros - where you want to strangle the dude behind the camera.
If you aren't into this kind of setup, you will probably find the site to be lacking, as the camerwork is pretty bad in places, but if you do enjoy this kind of thing it might be worth joining - but just for a month, I don't know why anyone would get their multi-month membership, I don't think you get any bonus sites with that membership either.
Basically a decent site, and he certainly got some attractive ladies - too bad about the tattoos in many cases (what is with that huge fucking teddy bear on Danni Cole's back, shit!). The ladies are mostly American from what I can tell, and not a lot of ethnic diversity here - almost all white. I downloaded about 25 scenes that I plan to keep, amongst those there are about 5 that will be added to my favorites (including the Danni Cole scene, and a Rilee Jensen scene that were both pretty good).
If you are into casting call type scenes, this is definitely a site to consider. Although it could certainly use some improvements, and perhaps a lower price, I'd say it is worth a one month membership.
The site's newer videos are 640x360 with a 4500 kbps bitrate, reasonably crisp at full screen. I counted 128 scenes on the site now, seems like they average about 1 update per week. Still no photo content or bonus content, however. I might post a full review when I've looked around the site more.
Sounds like this site took quite a dive since the last time I was a member. I was sort of hoping that it would improve and they would get some of their older material put up at a higher resolution. Oh well, thanks for the info, I will make sure to keep this off the list...
Sorry about your problems, but I don't really think this site is overrated, most reviews - aside from mine - have been pretty poor. I think if you like their style of content it is worth joining, it is too bad their video quality is mediocre, bit I don't think the site is bad. I was unaware that the PU discount only lasted a month, I was only ever a member for one month.
When I was a member the only dvd's that weren'y downloadable were the ones that were recently added, perhaps this situation has changed?
If it is a site I have never visited before, I'd join if I thought it had decent content. In my experience over the course of a month subscription most sites will only add like 10 sets, so it isn't that important.
Also, I had a hardware failure once that prompted me to rejoin an inactive site.
Yeah, I think most of us do, and I think if they are going to advertise having HD they should note somewhere on the join page that it is streaming only - for those of us that don't frequent PU.
Ah, perhaps that is why it is down. It all makes sense to me now, that updating music site message totally confused me...
I think the mp4 files are decent quality, but they don't look great full screen. I mainly put that in the review so people knew if they joined, they weren't getting the best quality video.

-I find there to be a few too many ads, ads when you login, pop-ups
-Website can be glitchy, In The VIP has been disabled for video downloads for almost a week.
-Older content often in three parts still
-Navigation could use some improvement, sorting is a bit odd.
-A bit heavy on the large breasted women for my tastes, but there is plenty for anyone
-They advertise it as HD, but this is only available in streaming format. I would say the streamed HD content is mediocre as far as HD material I have seen (not sure how to check the specs on this).
Bottom Line:
I think this site is pretty excellent, although to me not quite the best out there - as they advertise. There is a wide variety of content, although the primary focus of most of the sites is hardcore material of some sort. If you are looking for solo material, this isn't the place to look.
I do enjoy that the site has model interviews, and other such activities instead of jumping straight to the action. I see this type of thing as a positive, I suppose others might not like this, or consider it a waste of HD space and download time.
To me this site appears to be another site that is focussing a bit too much on quantity over quality. Compared to the last time I was a full-access member here a couple of years ago, I found that a lot of their newer content was not up to the quality standards of previous years.
The other main drawbacks to this site are the sites general practices. Advertising on the homepage that video is in HD, but not allowing people to download said video is a bit iffy in my opinion. Also, excessive advertising, and pop-ups are a bit much. I often get a popup to that fling.com place when I go straight to the member page.
All in all, a pretty decent site if you are into hardcore material. If you are looking for downloadable HD content or solo material I would probably look elsewhere. If the site could improve the quality of some of the recent material as well as improve some of the navigation/site issues, it could in fact be the best porn site on the net.

Go to any InTheVip scene, I get the system message when I go to those. I guess they are adding a new video, but I have gotten that same message since last night.

When I look at the join page, I see different options than those you mentioned. The VIP level says it is $10.95 and all you appear to get is 50% discount. They list two apparent all-you-can-eat options.
I was just poking around this site and it mentions the bit rate for the aerobcise videos? Wikipedia says Ron Harris produced aerobics videos for Showtime. These are just regular aerobics videos right? Seems kind of odd that he'd have them available for download if that were the case...
I wasn't arguing that Mr Skin was the best site on the web, it certainly does have its flaws. The older material definitely is split up more than the newer stuff. I am not familiar with the Liv Tyler scene, however I have noticed in the past with older material they sometimes cut out and show only the parts of the scene that have nudity in them.
I looked at Skin Video, and it looked like primarily a hardcore site, did they recently change? Didn't seem to me as though this would be an adequate alternative to Mr Skin, but perhaps I was looking in the wrong place?
You probably are getting full access if you can download stuff, I can't imagine how the site could be set up to give you any kind of limited access.
Anyways, I agree with most of your points, however I think most rate the site well with the understanding that Mr. Skin does not produce his/their own content. They post the clips of nudity from movies, there isn't really much they can do to make a scene longer, or make the scene better.
I also think that the reason some clips are split up is due to copyright issues, but I could be wrong on this.
