a) Took several hours to get access - with both IE and Firefox, all I got were "Internal Error" messages - that sets off alarms to me. No C/S response until the morning, at which point they claimed that the problem was entering the wrong secret word, which all needed to be entered in lower case.
In fact, 2/3 of the time, the secret word appears in all caps, and my experience is that the secret words need to be entered exactly as they appear. In fact, I tried several secret words before I finally got access - some were lower case, some were all caps. Now that I got access, when I re-logged in this morning, the secret word was in all caps - when I entered it in all caps, I was in - so the C/S response had nothing to do with the actual situation.
Some PU's think it's perfectly reasonable to not get access to a site for days, according to justme's response to my earlier comment. I disagree - For it to take hours after many attempts in multiple browsers, is not reasonable.
b) No pic updates since December 2008 at all
c) They add about an hour's worth of vid clips per day. As I say, these are clips - sections of DVD's. While actionjav.com is adding 5 full 2 hour DVD's a day - approx 10 hours of material and jsexnetwork is adding multiple DVD's per day and multiple photo sets on some days, I would say that - on average - the amount of material updated on this site is approx 1/10 the material being added per day on those other sites.
d) They tend to update with uncensored material - much more than either of the other 2 sites mentioned. actionjav has no uncensored material, to my knowledge. jsexnetwork is infrequently updating with uncensored material (vids with a filter are the norm among the big studios in Japan)
e) The updates are hot - lots of Maria Ozawa and other babes that are definitely up my alley. And the vids look great full-screen - very clear, very sharp images - with the Windows Media Player, I can always decrease the viewing window for even more clarity, but I might not have to with this stuff.
f) The download speeds are good. The navigation across the Idols69 site and across the network of sites (at least the Racing Girls' site, which is the only one I checked out much so far) is good - you won't have the frozen page problems that actionjav has frequently had.
g) The price with the TBP discount is just over 1/2 that for a month's access as compared to actionjav & jsexnetwork - though the $19.95 price is for 1 month ONLY - after that it rebills at $29.95.
h) For $19.95, now that I have access, and presuming that I don't start getting their Internal Error BS again, I'm sure that I'll get my money's worth. At $29.95/month, it wouldn't be a good deal as compared to actionjav or jsexnetwork, which have 10 times the material in their updates - and in the case of jsexnetwork update with many full gravure photo sets.
This site ought to excite me more than it does. I wasn't a huge fan of the sister site Sapphic Erotica either. There's some great stuff, and some of the close-ups are pretty wondrous, but there's something bland about the whole thing to me.
I was doing a periodic check of In The Crack's updates. Warning to anyone thinking of subscribing to Kink.com. While they are shooting new content, reversing their decision that they would only release new content made by partners, they are also not including all content in a subscription to Kink.com - or Kink network, whatever you want to call it. Now they have a Princess Donna section that they deem "Exclusive" that is another add-on subscription. I'm sure that if people pay that additional money, they'll continue to put more of their content behind additional "Exclusive" paywalls.
Kink.com used to be an easy site to cancel - no longer. Now their "cancel subscription" portal - which is easy enough to find at the top of the page under "manage subscriptions - simply doesn't work. If you click on "Cancel Subscription", you get a "Sorry you want to leave" page asking you your reason for leaving. That's fine, but when you click on your reason, you get a pop-up where "Don't Cancel" is in red and "Confirm Cancel" is in black - you click on "Confirm Cancel" and nothing happens at all. If you try to give feedback to support about billing or cancellation issues, you get directed to the same "Cancel Subscription" portal that doesn't work. If you proceed to try to send feedback, you get a completely blank page that you get no response from. There's not even another email or phone # that I've found to cancel membership. Baaah, humbug!
When a site decreases the rate of updates, that's usually a sign that the site is on the way out. At one time this site had 2-3 updates per week. Recently however:
3/08 - video update
3/19 - gallery update
4/05 - gallery update
4/19-4/26 they were back to their former schedule with 3 updates, then
5/07 - gallery update and nothing new projected until 5/21 - and new updates are projected for 1 every 2 weeks.
For a multi-girl site, that's pretty paltry. It seems like almost all of Pacinos sites have become archive-only, so one would think that this would be the site he would focus his energy on to find new girls that, like Gigi or Karla, could become the focus of a successful solo-girl site. That will open the video in a new window and once it's playing, you right click in the video and download from there - none of this confusing array of choices of resolutions - you get what you get. It looks good so don't worry about it. Now - VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOt attempt to stream or download another video or zip set while that 1st video is downloading - or you'll be blocked for 24 hours. Done downloading that first one? OK - now very carefully, you can navigate to another video that you want to download - but be sure that first one is finished! Found another one you want? Cool - go ahead and do the same thing. Don't go thinking you can do this all night. That 2nd one is probably your last to download for the night if you don't want to see they're "you screwed up" page letting you know that you're blocked for 24 hours. Oh, and the site works best if it is the only site open on your computer - period. It gets jealous if you're open a bunch of other windows and what not and is even more likely to give you that "you screwed up" screen. OK - now how about the content? It's quite good. They have bonus videos that you can stream - no downloads - of other studio's work that is not exclusive to this site, but other than that, everything here is exclusivde and it's unique. It's kind of like the Gay version of Pacino's Adventures except they have a bunch of people in different countries looking for hot Latino guys to shoot - and their agents aren't doing the fucking. There's rarely more than 2 or 3 scenes with any 1 guy so there's a lot of variety, though if you find a fave, oh, well. MetArt used to be a safe site to join - no shady prechecked boxes. They always made various offers but it was your choice whether to accept them or not, which is perfectly fine and reasonable.
But yesterday I joined MetArt with a special discount as I have numerous times before without problems. Then I noticed in my spam folder that I had a message that I had also joined SexArt, which I had not done at all. I emailed MetArt's customer service and their proof that I had joined SexArt was to send me 2 attachments, neither of which mentioned SexArt, and both of them were referring to me joining MetArt at an entirely different price than I had agreed to when I joined.
Something is very troubling with the MetArt Network. Maybe it's getting too complicated for them, or maybe they're outsourcing it to some careless company. Either way, I recommend that you be very careful when joining MetArt - including asking their C/S to confirm the price that they show you joined at if it's not mentioned in their confirmation - it wasn't in mine!
