I used to do something similar. I would write my review on the web page, then copy it to word before submitting it. That's just a pain, though, when there are multiple text windows (i.e. pros, cons, bottom line).
I actually have a technique that works really well most of the time. If you maintain two tabs to Pornusers and then check to make sure you are still logged in on the other tab, you will still be logged in when you click submit regardless of how long it has been. The cookie applies to all tabs so if one works, they all will. For some reason I forgot to open another tab when I was writing this review. Eh, stuff happens. :-)

Thanks for the quick response. First off, I did join Vixen and really like the subtle differences that make the content on this site better than many of the more established sites in this niche.
As for the issue I had, cross-checks are rarely beneficial to the purchaser since they are presented as a teaser with the goal of generating additional subscription revenue when the subscriber does not un-check the box or doesn't cancel within the very brief timeframe. Often times, if there is an error in the sign-up process, boxes that have been deliberately unchecked by the subscriber will check-themselves again. This is what I believe happened to me. OK, sure. My bad. But it just adds to the widespread belief that there is nothing good about cross-checks. If I want to join a site, I will go to that site (or look on Porn users for a discount) and sign-up.
In any case, I appreciate your response. It means you care about customer service and want to make sure your site is seen in a positive light. Only the best customer service organizations do that.

Well....lately I've been trying foreign clubs (russian and latin) and this one popped up on my radar. I noticed that they now have a payment option for ccbill, so apparently they are figuring out that we don't want to be billed directly. I will probably try them within the next month or so and will write a review when I do.

Hi,
Call Epoch. It is in their best interest to assist you in getting access. If they can't assist in getting you access, tell them you have never had access, can't get anyone to respond from the site and request a refund. They will deny it initially but if you don't have access or a refund in 24 hours, call them back and keep calling. Be a squeeky wheel.
I just noticed that TBP is not doing business with this site, so they are a probably a pretty bad site in terms of support and business practices. Epoch is still your best bet. Use the fraud word if you have to but only after politely asking them for help.
And, as always, come to TBP and PU for reviews BEFORE you sign up to a site. They usually can tell you if a site is trouble.

Just so you know, I'm not complaining at all about the way the trial was described at TBP. I am complaining about the way it was abused by the site. TBP was told the trial included three partial videos. OK, the site lied. I was charged the upcharge upon the third CLICK on the site. I saw one girl, returned to main, clicked on another. BAM! No warning or explanation of any kind! I was on the site for less than 45 seconds before they hit my credit card for $39.95! That's what I consider inexcusable... Would you accept that kind of crap from Amazon? What about Met Art? Would you tolerate a live chat site that didn't delineate between free and pay links and arbitrarily charged your card for browsing? No? Of course you would not. No reputable web site of any kind would rip off a customer like that if they EVER cared about that customer enough to want to see them again. Well, they will never see ME again! OK, I'm done.
You set this PU site up so people could give their honest opinion about the sites visited. This is my honest opinion.

I have annual subs to last 3 above plus SexBabes, I think. Naughty America has too many "mature" porn stars for me, though. Wankz might have been the site I had a lot of trouble with initially but finally got it dialed in with my player. I'll have to go back and really look at the video quality again. You need to try SexBabesVR. I think there may be some samples on PornHub.
Hey, not to draw this out much further, but does the MOVING in the VR videos at CzechVR bother you any? Some go forward and backwards, some tilt and some just go up and down. This is the only "top" site I can think of where the camera moves. (Lot's of lesser VR sites have camera shakes)

Hi,
OK, I went back and looked at the VR vids I kept, which were the ones of girls I thought were reasonably attractive. None had the neon make-up. I did notice a very heavy and kind of unusual use of darker eye shadow though, which may be a signature item for the make-up artist that they use. The most recent one I have is #122. One of the 2 girls in that video has highly exaggerated smoky eyes.
(One thing I didn't mention before is how annoying it is when a VR girl plants a fake kiss on the camera. They do that a LOT here.)
In general, although a few of the girls are quite pretty, I do not think most of them exceed amateur quality and there is a certain roughness to some that defy explanation. (i..e bushy or very thin-line eyebrows, bad teeth, excessive bad tattoos, mediocre figures..) But I'm just an American asshole who likes Met Art and avoids the amateur sites, so my opinion is completely subjective. Clearly there are a lot of people who like this site....probably mostly Czechs! :-)
As for the poll you linked, it a voting poll based on number of votes, quantity, not necessarily quality. A similar type of poll consistently ranks the Olive Garden as the best Italian restaurant in my area. I would and have have ranked Wankz, Sexbabes and Badoink above this one.
Just for the heck of it, I'll give you three videos that I think are perhaps the reference standard when it comes to VR...at least they are my reference standard. They are well produced and make the absolute most of the girls in them.

Well done review, thanks. It is interesting how different our perspectives are on this site as for me it is one of the lowest scorers among the 20+ VR sites I've joined so far. I totally agree that the video quality was good (it should be good) but I just didn't think the models/pornstars were attractive and the few popular ones had oddly done make-up. (I'm from the US, so eastern European make-up, especially bright colored eye shadow, is hard to watch for me.) Perhaps it has improved since I reviewed it or perhaps a little time will change my perspective, so I'll go back and watch some of the 48 VR vids that I kept from this site. Thanks!

Thanks! I try to be as detailed as possible and when I run into something that is far from the norm, good or bad, I like to elaborate. This one had some cool features, but compared to the leaders out there, the quality just wasn't there.
Your term conventionally attractive is perfect. Very few 18-24 year- olds are not attractive in some way. But very few look like Anjelica or Malena Morgan. Very hard to describe that without sounding like a complete ass.
You should get a set of Google cardboard glasses for your Android or iPhone, just to try it. There are a few sites that will send you a pair for free when you sign up. VR is very cool, but using a full-blown VR headset takes a little more effort than just sitting down at your desk or whatever.

Hi Amanda,
Good to hear from you. OK, I get that you want to review the niches within a site. Makes perfect sense. If you look at my VR site reviews on PU, I make it clear that I am reviewing just the VR portion but I often mention that there is a network and there is non-VR material. I even rate the VR sites "on a curve" rating them against each other instead of against mainstream non-VR sites that understandably have more content and more frequent updates. Looks like you guys are doing something similar.
I guess what is grey here is the definition of network. Lethalpass is a network that includes all sites for one price. POVD/Passion HD network is a group of individual sites that provide access to the entire network for an additional fee once you join one site. 21 Network bills itself as a network and lists all material but charges a fee to join each separate site. And Met Art is a network that generally keeps of their sites separate, chargins a separate fee for each one. I'm splitting hairs a little, but the first two networks are more inclusive. The Czech VR Fetish review does a good job of saying that you also have access to the other sites but maybe this is another thing that needs to be fleshed out in the site details column under the subject "network access includes:"
and/or "Network sites available for an additional fee:"
As for the lethalpass network, you really should review the main site, Czech VR. It compares fairly well to other, similar sites on your list.
When I get a chance, I'll write a user review for some of the VR sub-sites TBP is writing reviews on.
Oh, one last thing. HTC Vive owners know that they can use the high-def videos produced for Oculus Rift on their headsets, but people who are looking at these sites prior to deciding which VR headset to buy, or have a new Vive, might not. To be fair to those folks, you might want to change the "video format" listings to just say Oculus/Vive...possibly even if the site doesn't. I know some sites provide download links for both headsets, but the videos are the same. I can't recall if the Lethalpass sites just reference Oculus or not, but I have a Vive and all of the highest resolution videos from this network work on it. Just saying Oculus/Vive would also help make your review specs more consistent.

I'm not sure I understand. You gave the site a 95 but didn't really explain why. Are you really saying this is one of the best porn sites on the Internet, which is what 95 means?
Also, what is daring about the sex? Is it in public? Is it in dangerous places? Looking at the images, I don't see anything particularly daring.

Hey RustyJ, I think you hit the nail on the head with the feel in House of Taboo. It is glam bondage. There is a lot of make-up and nice fetish clothing but no real roughness at all. (Straight peeing should not be in this category these days.) But here's the deal. Even with light bondage, the model needs to be tied up well or tied firmly to something. Bondage is about trust, after all and faking bondage destroys the trust concept. When I look at the images here, many, many of them show a girl in handcuffs that aren't clasped or a girl tied in a way that she can clearly slip her hands or legs out of. And seeing a girl that is tied up suddenly slip free and masturbate SO defeats the purpose of the set. Yes, Kink.com is pretty brutal and the models are usually not glamorous, but there are other sites that strike a MUCH better balance between fake glam and "OMG she's tied down tight to that machine and has come so many times she's drooling uncontrollably" bondage. I'm not a huge Hustler fan, but the Hustler Taboo site does glam bondage pretty well. Check it out if you haven't already.

Very good point. I also (directly) got a rather agitrated email from Patrik, who is apparently one of the webmasters at Eva's Garden. You are correct and Patrick is correc, to a point. This computer is still running Windows XP, and Internset Explorer only goes to 8 on XP. I did not think to try Chrome. I just did and the images do in fact show up and allow me to save in jpg format. Oddly, though, in Chrome, when you click on an image the little preview does not show up. I have to click on the "enlarge" link to doenload the file (again, this file IS in jpg format). I am going to diagnose my computer but plan on updating it shortly to W7.
I've run into a handful of sites that simply don't like Internet Explorer of any version. I suspect this has somethign to do with the server software itself or perhaps with what some people believe is Microsofts quite effort to make Windows XP perform so poorly that people will have to upgrade. IN any case, you and Patrik are correct in that the BMP problem is due in part to my own IE browser.

OK, I know what you mean, but I really think they have improved a LOT at Femjoy in the last 4 or 5 years. I keep all my images by year (10 years worth for Femjoy) and I just went back and opened some zip files from 2007. They are good, but sometimes these images are a little darker and sometimes the emphasis is on the overall locale with the model included in the image periphery someplace. This was pretty common in softcore several years back and was a technique made popular by Holly Randall and others from the days of Penthouse magazine (the "artsy" dark hazy look, the halo look and the High Dynamic Resolution look sometimes still used by Michael Ninn and others can go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned.) Honestly, a panoramic shot with the model in the image can sometimes be very beautiful, but it does not appeal to everyone, it should be used very sparingly and it distracts from the reason for the set, which is the model. Dark sets do crop up occasionally and I too get very frustrated with them. Fortunately, those sets are very rare. Digital cameras are much better these days, too, so the softness we used to see sometimes is also rare.
One thought....sometimes they mess with the thumbnail image to brighten it up for the text they are adding, not simply to improve the image. This may be why you sometimes see brighter thumbnails.
These days I download and unzip the zip files of entire sets instead of just individual images. I also have a single folder where I keep the very best high-resolution images because of the model, the pose and the image quality, not because of the locale. If an image I want to keep happens to have a little too much space at the bottom or top (often they are formatted portrait but could easily be cropped to be landscape), then I just load up Adobe Photoshop and crop it myself. I just looked at my jumbo best-of collection, about 1000 images, and I've probably cropped 75% of them, but I've only messed with color balance and brightness on about 10% of them. These are the cream of the crop models and images across about 30 sites, but they still required a little cropping to suit my tastes and emphasize the model over the locale. I imagine that may be the case for others as well.
Photographers these days need to be all things to all people. That means they need to do panoramas, full body shots, close ups, hands and feet, face shots, coy shots and open shots, all with both direct eye contact and averted eyes. A little of everything. Amazingly, probably 80% of the Femjoy sets and 60%-80% of the images in those sets for last few years are keepers for me. That may not sound like much, but that is an incredibly high percentage compared to the average soft core site I visit. Of course, your mileage will vary, but I think the photographers at Femjoy do a very, very good overall job these days of keeping their audience happy.
