Um...Marilyn Cole, Miss January, 1972. Full frontal. Great tan lines. Schwing! I was 12. Hyapatia Lee was the first insertion/porn I ever saw. Damn she was hot. That was a few years later. I grew up on Fort Lauderdale beach when the drinking age was 18, people fucked on the beach at night, nobody ever carded (Especially when you were 6'3", and there was a wet T-shirt (and much more) contest someplace every night. The strip clubs were pretty awesome down there back then, too. It nearly ruined me.

Damn, my login timed out AGAIN while I was writing a comment. That is so frustrating!
About pubes. Yeah....nope. I can appreciate that everyone has different tastes and don't mind a little pubic hair, but my experience has been that sex with full-blown "natural" girls is...more complicated than sex with shaved girls and that, for me personally, they don't taste as good. So I equate unshaven with less clean. When I see an unshaven girl who couldn't wear a bikini because of it, I just move on. And a girl with unshaven pits? I try not to gag before quickly moving on.
I think unshaven will always be a niche, but, if anything, shaving is probably even more mainstream outside of porn than in the past. Even men do it. (Somebody should ask this same question about whether guys/gals like seeing unshaven/hairy men.) I've shaved all over many times for my wife (and I'm hairier than Tom Selleck) and the sex always seems a little better.
And now that those tiny postage stamp bikini bottom fronts are becoming more common (there were many at South Beach in April and they are OMFG awesome!), I have a hard time believing big bushes will be back in the mainstream anytime soon.
Ok. Rant warning. What is with the guys who have to comment rudely or negatively about girls who don't have pubic hair? I see it on Met Art and Femjoy all the time. Downvoting or leaving rude comments for otherwise beautiful girls just because they are shaved is juvenile and stupid. There are plenty of sites that specialize in hairy women and many sites that provide a good balance. If you feel the need to be rude because a girl is shaved, just do us all a favor and stop it. OK, rant done.

Maybe I find out about new trends in porn by actually watching porn. Sadly, there are several new trends that I'm not really into.
Best new trend lately is VR. I learned about that from VR device reviewers.

What timing! I've got two things on the list:
1. Loyalty Programs!
2. Better long term subscription options.
First, I'm going to say loyalty programs. I am a long, long term member of some sites and am amazed that they don't offer more incentives for long term members to join other sites for discounted prices. For example, I love the Met Art network and am a near-permanent member of one or two of their sites. They used to offer deep discounts for existing members to join the other sites in the network, but they no longer do. In fact, when you go to join another site from within the network, the first click to a price on another site brings it up for full price! Then, if you hunt around, you can find them for $10 off. But I keep finding offers for Met Art sites elsewhere (not on the site) for less. As a current subscriber, Shouldn't I be offered the same special rates for a different site on the network than somebody who isn't a subscriber that is surfing on a non-network web site?
One option would be a "monthly member for 5 months gets a month to another site." kind of arrangement. 5 months at the monthly rate is often equal to the yearly rate at many sites, so how about giving long-term subscribers that pay monthly a little perk? The network has absolutely nothing to lose by doing this.
Second, I'm surprised some sites don't offer long term memberships or, if they do, they offer one at a ridiculous price. Some sites, like In The Crack, have nothing but a monthly membership rate. Really? You want me to pay $39 a month for HOW LONG? That kind of logic guarantees migration into and out of a site. How many times would I sign up in a year? Once? Twice, maybe? $78? So wouldn't an annual membership for, say $129 net more money from the individual subscriber than one 1-month membership every six months or so? Yes, there are some people who will pay $39 a month indefinitely, but I believe the majority of subscribers see a diminishing return for each month they stay on and eventually they leave.
A solution here might be cumulative discounts. Inthe case of ITC, it would look like this. Join for a month and it is $39. 2nd month, $34. 3rd month $29 until you get down to whatever base amount makes sense. $15? That's $160 for 6 months. Far more than an annual subscription if there were one and probably far more than they would get from one person because that person would probably leave after a month or two at the full rate. And to encourage you to stay, the rate would revert back to full price if a person left for a month or more.
So that's it. Frequent-flyer plans and more attractive long-term subscriptions
I'll have to start a thread on this. The question really got me going.

I sit down and usually go through the sites I'm signed up for in a particular order. New sites would be first, then sites that update less frequently or fill a niche to scratch an itch, then, if I haven't found anything exciting, a couple of long-term sites that almost always do it for me.

Pat362 said it pretty well, but I'll elaborate a little. It is possible to binge on porn like one would binge on a series on Netflix. Like many binges, there is an after-effect along the lines of "What the fuck did I do THAT for". During that binge-remorse time frame, whether it is minutes or days, it is likely hat the person is sick of porn.
It happened to me once....
Oh, and then there is "Sick of spending so much money on porn".....Totally different.

What are we talking about here? Solo model porn, couples porn where the primary actor/actress looks at the partner? Look s at the camera?
In solo porn, it is extremely important that the girl look at the camera unless there is some reason she can't (i.e. blindfold or hidden camera-style scene before being discovered). I've said this before. As the recipient/audience, a solo porn scene should be about ME. Full POV scenes (Like those at POVD) and Virtual Reality scenes (like those at WankzVR) have really spoiled me when it comes to videos.
Eye contact in photo sets is just as important as it is in videos. I actually cull out a lot of images where the model is looking elsewhere.

Excited? About a movie? That doesn't happen much. I said the Mummy because Tom Cruise has been constantly banging out watchable films for decades so I imagine this one will be, too.
My wife and I go to the movies about once a week, so we will probably see all of these...except maybe the Planet of the Apes movie, which I'll probably watch at home at some point. We just saw the Guardians movie. It was almost as good as the first one...but not quite. Use that as your gauge.
The Kingsman movie should be interesting to watch but honestly the thing I remember most about the first one was the weird deal at the end where the locked-up older woman said something like "Save the world and you can do me in the ass". Then in the end he goes back to her! That was pretty shocking for a mainstream movie. Wonder what they'll do this time....

There are a LOT of sites that provide one looooong movie and a few that break things up. The problem with some sites is that they include everything in one long movie. So, I pull down the stuff I like or sometimes I pull down the whole movie and edit it myself. That takes time, though, so it has to be pretty exceptional to begin with.

Traditional live-cam shows can be hit-or-miss and can get really expensive very quickly. It's like picking a girl for a back room lap dance. Even if the package is nice, you still don't know what you'll get. The new-style sites like MyFreecams or Chaturbate have so much content that there is usually something interesting to watch. 100 girls just sitting there talking, 10 nude and 5 or 6 really getting into themselves. The nice thing about these sites is also that they are "open" so rather than have to pay to get in, you tip because you like what you see. Totally different model and it seems to work. Something for everybody, I guess. With girls like Emily Bloom and several other porn stars appearing regularly on Chaturbate, it can be a pretty interesting place to visit.

I look at TBP/PU and I also look at the preview pages for content, models, etc. I agree with what Rearadmiral said. Too many sites embellish, omit or outright lie about their content.
Occasionally, I'll find a site that doesn't have a review yet. If I join, I always write one!

The best porn stars exude a level of confidence, presence or uniqueness that sets them above the rest. That confidence can be seen in the work. There is a revolving door for the hot but incompetent porn stars. Only those who are dedicated and relatively smart (smart enough to know they have to know how to act) stay very long. A very few actually go on to do other acting or hosting gigs (i.e. Sasha Grey, Michelle Maylene). I think it is too bad that US censors draw such a hard line between movie acting and porn acting. Game of Thrones has plenty of soft-core porn and some pretty brutal sex, but it isn't presented as porn and there is a lot of other stuff going on so that somehow makes it OK. The HBO series Sparticus would show a great, fairly explicit sex scene in perfect unison with some brutal fight or bloody murder. Totally fucked with peoples heads. Wasn't porn, though.
Oh, and don't get me started about movies that present themselves as porn or a glimpse of something porn-like...like 50 shades. Dumbest movie EVER but a lot of people went to see it because, you know, they think it might be porn.
Way off topic but...Last week my wife and I went to see Ghost in the shell with Scarlett Johansson on a Friday afternoon. The other people in the theater were all middle aged men...by themselves. WTF was THAT about?

I think it would survive but the emphasis would be different. It would require scripts and dialogues and good looking men who could actually act and speak and spend more time doing so than doing actual sex.
I have to admit, though, marketing porn to women MUST be a huge challenge. I sat my wife down with my VR headset and played a POV VR video created for women for her. Her response? That's the angle I see sex from all the time. I want to see something different! So....she wants non-POV hetero VR porn created for women? WTF? ...for me, POV VR porn is pretty much the bomb.
Oh, one last thing. If you go look at Chaturbate, there are a LOT of web cam dudes there. So somebody must be watching..... (I haven't looked to see if it is men or women, though...)

Heterosexual anal sex is one of the most over-rated, over-used and generally incorrectly portrayed things in porn today. The sequence most commonly used, regular sex, anal sex then a blow job without cleaning up at all, should make anyone watching that isn't into copraphelia gag. Times might be changing but I've never had a partner that enjoyed it, not to mention got off during it. Feel free to chime in if I'm wrong. I could be.

There should be at least three more options:
3. Flat doggy style
4. No preference
5. Depends on the girl, (height, looks, her preference)
I like flat doggy because there is more skin contact but the angle is not as stimulating for my partner.

I'll repeat what I have in my profile.
Porn quality is an equation. (GIRL)*(SETTING*IMAGE QUALITY*PHOTOGRAPHER SKILL, TALENT AND RAPPORT WITH MODEL)*(SEVERAL OTHER VARIABLES) If any one of them is a 0, the whole thing is a 0.
Setting means location and lighting. Both have to be good with no major distractions.
There are a few sites that shoot backlit "white room" scenes in front of a window and from about 15 feet away. They are high quality but almost entirely from one angle, the side. These are probably the biggest waste of time and talent I've ever seen.
Chatty photographers or overly vocal actors are easy fix by turning off the volume.

When joining a new site, it takes about 5 minutes on the site to decide if I'm going to want to keep it for more than a month. So I often cancel literally within minutes of joining a site just to make sure I have done it and to avoid any last minute nonsense that sometimes happens at the less disciplined sites. On occasion, the cancel process is convoluted specifically so the site can charge people who wait until the last minute to cancel. MUCH better to cancel and then change your mind than it is to put off decided and get charged for another month that you don't want.

This is a tough question. I download a lot of images and then sift through them when I have time to remove the chaff. There is a LOT of chaff. I also tend to download videos and then only watch or sometimes actually edit them to keep the segments that I want to keep. I'm not into watching girls give head or get anal, so those photos/videos are deleted or skipped. So I keep between 30-40% of what I download.

The majority of trial memberships are just bait to get you for a month. I've had sites charge me for $1 for a trial and then immediately (within seconds) bill me for the "post trial" monthly fee, which is sometimes higher than the regular monthly fee. That's just greedy. All sites should provide enough accurate, honest representative material so that people can decide to join or not without resorting to a trial.
