Sorry, that may have been me on the "no DRM" thing that I saw posted on an adult business site that I happened to come across about a week ago. They had a headline saying that Hustler was quitting the DRM thing so I posted a comment here on that primarily to see if that was true or not. Apparently not but not sure when it is/was supposed to take effect but so far, no dice.

I totally agree. The world has changed and the old money in porn and music still likes the old ways and rejects the new world. Fresh competition has made a new world of exciting cutting-edge (and inexpensive) porn and music and the old producers just don't like it. Even though distribution costs on the internet are almost nil, they want the same money per item as when they put magazines, 8mm short movies or vinyl disks in stores. The irony is that the cheaper porn is, the more we buy. I spent totally a lot less on porn when it was expensive. The new producers understand that and are getting rich (and deserve it).
Not one old porn producer that I know of has put up a top-notch site (Playboy, Penthouse, and even Swank). It's a pity. I guess for awhile they'll make money from internet rookies who don't know better, but eventually that will dry up. It would be nice to see them competitive in this industry.

Seriously it’s been 4-5 years sense I rented a video/DVD at the porn shop. I use to rent $20.00 a week in porn easily. The only time I go in a porn shop is when I’m traveling and I get bored and drift in for a look around. I rarely buy anything, maybe a gag gift for a friend or for my bar. I never could understand why a company like Hustler never got behind the Internet with a high quality sites. they certainly have the material. I joined one of their sites once and was totally pissed at how poor it was. They’re not the only company that has made a half ass attempt at offering their material via the Internet.
I use to like Rodney Moore and his goofy porn but I checked out his Internet site and it looked lame. So I never joined.
I would love to read their business plan and see what their thoughts are regarding Internet distribution.

Just curious, but as a whole what is the thing that is offending people the most in general. Is it the fact that the site is calling black men 'negroes' or the fact that the whole theme is the concept that white women having any sexual relations with a black man viewed as 'unbelievable' or even wrong in some way?

As a black guy, I can say this site doesn't bother me. If you've watched porn (interracial porn especially) for the past 10 years, this is a common theme. For the "fantasy" aspect, a lot of these sites pretend like a mother or daughter from a "sheltered lifestyle" has an experience with a black guy - since they are so sheltered they call them "negroes". Shane Diesel makes his living off of this - his sites are My Mother's F*** A Negro and My Daughter's F*** Blackzilla. I looked at some of the other sites on the network and one of them that stood out was called I Fucked Your Stupid Face. Some people really get off on viewing very degrading sex and situations. Some guys love the though of their wives or girlfriends cheating on them with a dangerous black man. And on top of that being ridiculed in some way while they're doing it.
But how about that I Fucked Your Stupid Face? The whole gimmick is not just violent skull-fucking or name calling, it looks to me that it's that the guy pulls the woman's eyelids up to make her look dopey.

I was hoping that you wouldn't take my post as anything more than a continuation to the discussion, and I think you picked up on that. I think, I could be wrong, but the way I take it is similar to Chris Rock's "Negro" skit. He would mimic a rich stereotypical rich stuck-up white guy. He would say, "Oh great thanks to Tiger another negro is on the golf course" and "Oh look at that negro with his white girlfriend, she must be a whore". I really didn't take it that way until I read the the little stories with each preview video and saw, "Gated community". I think one of their other sites is also based on a comedy routine, the "I fucked your stupid face" one. I'm thinking that is an old Will Farrell comedy routine where he is acting like a non-English speaking person and says, "Shut your stupid face or I'll fuck your stupid face".
I guess more than anything, it is another reminder to how unoriginal porn has become.

Seriously, though, if Richard Pryor or Chris Rock had uttered the title of the site as part of a standup routine, I think the audience would probably get the point. It takes the offensive and says something like, "This is how some people think, so go ahead and think it, fool. The brothers are here, right in your white wife's trim. And you can't do shit about it."
Somehow that Randy Newman tune, "Short People," comes to mind as well. Or Archie Bunker, for that matter. It makes fun of bigotry by flaunting it.

Reading this gave me a memory flash of a hc video of Savanna (remember her, of course). Understandable, it is pretty easy to mix them up if you read through quickly. Besides, I was looking for an excuse to let that out because I know there are people who do not know the difference but do not want to be the person to ask. You know what they say about assumptions though!! :)
I certainly wish I could get those kind of speeds. It would make porn browsing much easier, but I dont think webmasters would approve of people being able to download their content in a matter of minutes, I have made enough of them mad the way it is!
The problem with standards is that not everyone uses the same standards, liters and gallons for example. So I find it best just to not be lazy and type the whole thing out. Just like "lol" means laugh out load to many people, but I might say lol thinking lesbians on lust. Okay, maybe that is stretching it, but you get the point.

Read carefully everyone! It was 70 Mbit/s and I always spell it out for exactly this reason, not to pick on you JD1961. Perhaps you know this already, but for anyone who does not: there is a ratio of 8:1 between the two, so just under 10 MBytes/s if you prefer to see it that way. And yes that number is correct, I always run a program called Bandwidth Monitor at continuously displays the bandwidth in and out. Although, now the site is running at 60 MBit/s
I am always wondering if people get the too mixed up. I understand that many people do not know the relation between a bit and a byte. The simple way to put is that 1 byte equals 8 bits for almost any application. So the new videos people are talking about being shot in 8 MBit video is equal to 1 MByte/s
If someone tells you 70 MBytes/s they are more than likely stupid! My fastest hard drive can sustain writing 77 MByte/s using SATA 2. So a website outputting that much to one user would be insane!
I truly believe that people should not abbreviate Mbps and MBs, because it gets mixed up alot. It should be spelled out to avoid the mess.

But take a look at the previews for this site too!

It looks worth it.
Don't you just hate those site where they offer no previews at all - I've learned (costly) to stay away from sites like that.
