Thanks, nostromo. It's good to know it's not just me getting older or bored of this stuff :)
Note for other possible users reading this: don't get me wrong, if you have never joined 21Sextury before, its archive offers a great deal of great stuff, and for a great price. It's the new updates that are a bit dissapointing.

Actually, looking closer that's what I see too. It's not unuasual to see a site charging more for a nonrecurring membership. I suspect most people join at the recurring rate and then cancel before it rebills ... but that's just a guess.

I'm still seeing the special price ($29.95 USD recurring at $24.95 USD) but it's possible that they're using regional pricing and you're not seeing that price.
Have you tried clearing your cache (temporary internet files) and any cookies related to the site and then revisiting directly from one of our links? Sometimes that's all that's needed to get the special price to show.

No dates on that/updates - could not find them, anyway...but at least 250 movie GALLERIES (or more out of now 646) with 8 fine/excellent quality vids in each, so....8 x 250...or about...bottom line: you get quite a lot for your money. Also in type of model - something for everybody.

Maybe you have a sticky or lazy key on your keyboard. Did you copy and paste them carefully, making sure not to leave any spaces in at the end or beginning? Did you try using another browser?
Maybe someone else with an active sub can verify that things are fine.

That's right! We blame you because you are over there and we are over here. We can not blame ourselves, that would just be silly and make us look stupid. Thus we look over the big drink and there sits Europe just waiting to be blamed for something. We like blaming the French the most though, so if you are French you should kick your own ass to save us the trouble. It truly is your fault that our economy sucks, to just to stick it to you we charge you extra for your porn. That will serve you right! Hell, you took all our money, we gotta get it back somehow!
Or we Americans can get our heads out of our asses (just look at WittyGuy's avatar) and fix the mess we got ourselves into. We have banks collapsing while tax payers bail them out just to find all that money went towards the CEOs having a big gay golf orgy. Alcoholic actors get first dibs on new livers while other hard working family men and woman can not afford to take their kids to the doctor. We have automakers making retarded cars no one can afford to drive and run their business like a retard in a candy store. And the only business that is hiring is the unemployment office due to all the new clients. We were and still are hopeful that the "change" president can lead the country out of this hole before before we are all asking for some spare change. The issue is we are all waiting for him to fix it, we dont wanna do it ourselves, that would too much like work.
The point is we, at least most of us, are not blaming you for anything. If they do just throw a Euro at them and see if their US dollar bill weighs as much. Basically the issue you have run into is just a way for a few select people to be greedy and blame it on currency conversion or lack there of.
Would it be fraud in any way if you bought a prepaid visa card in USD and used that? It might save you money if that is legal. I know you can get one time account numbers from PayPal, but I do not know how that works for international people. It might be worth looking into.
We have also noticed some sites switching over to Euros all together. This sucks for everyone because it is a sudden price jump that is a little hidden.

This is not OK for an internet company to do and in Europe I think it is illegal:
It is OK to bill in the local currency but you can not have a euro or dollar eqvivilant price that is higher in one country than the other: It should be the same dollar/euro price.
I think Apple's Itunes Europe had to change their pricing in Europe after they trid to charge some European customers more than others.
European Union competition law states that all European customers should be charged the same price no matter where they live: Brazzers want to charge French euro customers more than UK (£) or Swedish (skr) customers.
Of course we consumers hsould not accepts this!!

Hi,
in European countries we charge in Euros and we do the same for any foreign country and charge them in their local currencies as well.
For any more enquiries about this matter, please contact support@brazzers.com .

Just FYI, I'm a member of Brazzers and live in the USA. I am billed in dollars and I am paying the USD19.95 rate.
I see no reason why you should be paying at par in Euros. By my calculation, the Euro price should be Euro13.12 at the current exchange rate of USD1.52 per Euro1.00.
Please post the reply you get from Brazzers. It should be interesting.

Hello,
Thank you all for checking out our website. We have the drm's up there to manage our content and to keep track of how many people have downloaded it. We really do appreciate this website and everyone's contribution and comments. A few months ago we saw a lot of posts of everyone expressing their concerns about our drm's and that the movies would not work unless you’re a member. So we listened to what everyone said and changed our license to a silent license. This means that these movies will work even if you’re no longer a member. However, we still feel a need to keep the drm on the content to manage our content and to keep track that these movies do not end up being uploaded to tube sites. These movies are designed for your own personal use and not to be shared on other tube sites.
We do not have any adware/spyware attached to this license either. The drm is strictly intended to manage our content, that's it. =)
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me directly at: laurel@redlightrevenue.com or post on this board.
Again, thank you for your comments.
Laurel

Just a note, when I reviewed the site, they were not doing this whole new network interface they have now. From what Denner has said, that is when the problems resurfaced.

Hi nostromo,
I glad it got worked out!
One of our developers and our server admin was looking into it, but didn't find anything. So the problem indeed was the AVG antivirus then I guess.
Best regards,

Hi,
I'm sorry for your download problems, maybe it didn't get to the developers. I know that most people don't have problems, but I want to make sure this matter gets properly investigated.
Can you please mail me some download links that have such behavior?
Also, please send me your IP address (get it from www.whatismyip.com for instance).
Please send me directly to endre@ddfcash.com , and we will investigate the issue.
Thank you,
Endre

I suppose it is possible that european visitors have a bad connection to the servers. That would be great, not only do we pay more but we also get far worse download connections :(

I had exactly the same problem maybe a month ago with DDF Busty. Downloads would start but rarely finish and regularly the site would completely die. Support tried to help but like with you they said they have no problems at their end. I cancelled my membership and moved on adding them to my blacklist of sites never to touch again as long as I live.

It appears that you've misunderstood what I said.
I did *not* say that those in Europe or the UK are not paying higher prices. I didn not even say it wasn't unfair. What I said is that regional pricing is *not* a factor of currency conversion.
Regional pricing (also known as geo targeted pricing) is webmasters deciding to charge what they feel the market will bear. Their thinking is much like the shop owner who charges tourist a higher price than locals because they figure they'll pay that price.
While I would (personally) agree that regional pricing is unfair, I know that many folks still (wrongly) think it's a factor of an unfair exchange rate ... and that's simply not the case.

At the risk of repeating myself ...
For the record, regional pricing has *nothing* to do with currency exchange.
That doesn't make regional pricing any nicer, but it is wrong thinking to confuse regional pricing with a currency exchange rate.

Regional pricing also lets sites do other things, like you know how in stores someone is more likely to buy something that is 99 cents versus $1. Same thing with sites at $29.99 versus a conversion rate of say $30.27 or $29.61.
Not to mention every time I buy a subscription through ccbill that is charged in Euros I get hit with an additional fee from my credit card company for a purchase in a foreign currency, that does not exist when subscribing to sites through ccbill that do use Regional Pricing.
