I guess around 100 for a three month or longer subscription if I really wanted to join and it was cheaper than significantly shorter subscription in pieces.

I'd pay up to $100 for an annual subscription to a site I really liked, but probably not much more than that.
I also collect erotic photo books; they generally come to around £20-£30, but I have a couple that I've paid maybe £40 ($65?) for.

I paid $99 for a year's membership to G18 Spot last year which made sense at the time as a single month was $39.99....sadly the site disappeared offline about 7 or 8 months later but i had everything i wanted. Apart from that i've done a couple of $60 3 month memberships at ATK sites because you know with them you always have enough content and updates to make it worthwhile.

Still remember, $100 for the old video "Opening of Misty Beethovan," many years ago.

I joined the ferro network and that one is 84.95$ so it was easily near 100$ after the exchange. That was the biggest amount I have ever wasted on porn in one shot. I take comfort in the fact that others have avoided this network because of my review.

I have paid around $100 for some 1-year memberships. One problem with a 1-year membership is wondering if the site will disappear or stop updating. That's why I only do that for a major site, like Metart. I've been tempted by Metart's $799 lifetime offer, but I don't know whether Metart or I will still be around 8 years from now.

I'm not sure what qualifies as a porn purchase, and I see that many are considering online purchases only. I'd say the most I ever spent around the same time for online memberships would be around $100, but if we're expanding the discussion I once paid $250-ish for a bunch of DVDs at a discount shop in Toronto. If the discussion is broad enough to include strip clubs or similar activities, the answer to that is much, much higher.

That comment brings back some memories! I remember back in the early 1980s hardcore porn videos were illegal where I lived. That, obviously, made them hard to get. I got a tip that a local shop sold pirated VHS movies under the counter and that turned out to be correct. They were terrible quality, probably being a dub of a dub of a dub, and I paid $60 for two of them. I have no idea what that would translate into in today's dollars, but it was a lot for a kid with a just-above-minimum-wage job. That was probably the first money I ever spent on hardcore porn.

I take it that is priced in dollars.
In which case up to 100 for a year subscription.
I have only done that once or twice though.

I ticked the $50 option, then, looking at the replies, I realised I have signed up for 3 month subscription periods in the past....

I've done the MetArt/MetModels/Errotica-Archives deal, which was, if I remember right, close to 200 smackeroos for a year. It's proof that tax refunds are good for the economy.

Man, this is a tough question. Over the years I have spent way more money than I should on porn as it is one of my main hobbies. In one blow I probably spent about 250 bucks on yearly subscriptions and network deals. I am always looking for new unknown sites since sometimes the content is awesome and unexpected.
I don't think I'd ever go above that kind of money though. While I make a decent salary I'm not made out of money :)

I also spent about a 100 on an annual subscription. Can't imagine spending much more than that, or spending that ever again as I sort of regret it (just seemed like a good deal at the time).

In a weak moment dropped $99 for a one year subscription to Met Art.
I'm a video guy and MetArt is primarily a photo site, but I bit.

I spent a hundred for a one year subscription to a site three times. One of them went under, with the others I got tired of the site long before my subscription expired.
The same thing happened every time: there was an initial rush of excitement because I found lots of material that appealed to me, but after I had downloaded my "niche" contents (lingerie, mature women) which didn't take very long, it became a question of only having the daily updates to look at .. and on most days they were boring, almost carbon copies of each other, with only the faces changing.
So, in the past a 100 would have been right, now it is 30 bucks at most.

Awhile back when internet porn was not accessible, I plunked 100.00 in one site for a month, can not remember the site. I can remember they signed me up for other sites ( click throughs) and the bill was higher.

Yes, to me the quality and quantity of porn today is like a dream come true. I appreciate living in these "modern times."

I've caught myself referring to "the good old days" sometimes, but there is no evidence that those days were so good for many things. Just a few examples (besides porn, because those definitely were NOT the good old days...)
- food: when I grew up you only got certain vegetables and fruit in season. There was no economical means to get bananas, oranges or corn from the southern U.S. to where I lived. You made do with frozen or none at all.
- cars: screw the idea that the mid to late sixties was the best time for cars. I could afford to buy a Ford compact car or even a V6 pickup that would run rings around the performance cars from when I was a kid. And I'm safer and burn a lot less fuel doing it too.
- TV: remember when all you had was ABC, CBS and NBC. We had CBC in Canada, which was pretty good, but TV is much better thanks to networks like HBO.

Several years ago I bought 500 dvds for $495. Sold about 150 of them on ebay. Got about $800 for those 150, so in the end I made a few bucks plus have 350 dvds still in the wrappers. Had to stop because people kept reporting me (others selling porn).
