I wouldn't go so far as to say that politicians want terrorism, but I would say that most are cynical opportunists and terrorists attacks serve as great opportunities for passing new laws and gaining more power.

When we--the U.S. congress, anyway--passed the dystopian Patriot Act back in 2001 it made a lot of Americans less than the hopeful about how rational political leaders could be in the post-9/11 world. And given that the original bill was passed within two months of the 9/11 attacks and is over 300 pages long people have plenty of reason to be concerned.

Hell, one of its more infamous abuses was to investigate a Las Vegas strip club. And this would be fine if we were all living in the movie Casino, with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci running things. Except we live in the real world and instead it was used to peer into the seamy underbelly of library records and conduct searches without warrants, and even if authorities had a warrant they didn't need to immediately tell suspects their homes would be searched. Still, like abortion, I think trying to restrict porn can lead more people to simply break the law regardless of the consequences.

With the news of this recent proposal and now all the weak-kneed babble over the birth of a child to a tax-funded show family I'm kinda glad I'm not living in Britain at the moment. Yeah, I've posted about this topic in the forum before, but as a single guy with not much interest in actually getting involved with the whole marriage thing I just find it such an entertaining topic of discussion.

Especially when you have the more socially conservative boors who can stand before an audience and say, without any irony apparently, "What we really have is a pagan sexuality, which is totally different from a Christian sexuality."

I first read about this in an article last week and it just about made my day. It goes to the guy's greater point about monogamy, including this gem of wisdom: "Those who are monogamous have the best sex they’ll ever know, because they don’t know anything else." Which I guess is true, but it could suck if all you "ever know" included, say, an abusive partner, or one who always insisted on coming his wife's face, or one who just didn't really give a shit about the other ever enjoying sex. Ignorance is not always bliss, especially when it comes to sex.

I know, just like this guy, I'm preaching to the choir here on PU, but it is interesting, and in this case hilarious, to every so often read what the other side thinks of us porn-addicted sinners. Never mind that many of the members here are happily married, do not identify as pagans, or even seem to think as much about porn as these "researchers" do. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I'm not sure of the exact rules--and there are times when it seems nobody else does either--but the FCC's online guide says that it's against the law "to air obscene programming at any time" and profane and indecent broadcasts between 10PM and 6AM.

It's an interesting if totally infuriating read, and considering the consequences I'm betting cable networks simply don't want to risk getting fined like broadcast networks have. (To their credit, cable networks do stream uncensored versions of some of their shows online though.) Of course this is what should be most offensive to anyone concerned with a liberal and open society; when individuals and groups fear their government because of the free expression of ideas.

It's also why I still much prefer the Internet over virtually anything as presented on TV--the various "decency" and "family" groups have yet to fully sink their Puritanical fangs into a medium that is still largely uncensored. And it's why I love PU; I'm not creative enough to use the euphemistic language of a romance novel! "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I still maintain that less than 1% of people who watch porn are into watersports. Of course it doesn't matter what the number is as long as you like it and you can find places where they still shoot that type of content.

Or the people who are into it want to keep it private or just aren't here on PU, plus there are not a lot of current sites that really fully address this genre the way other fetishes are.

I haven't had memberships at all these sites, but these are some I can think of.

Already mentioned:

- As pat362 said above, Kink's Pissing.com stopped updating at least two years ago, if not more. I'm also not sure why it stopped, as it seemed like one of the more vanilla of Kink.com's sites, though maybe that's the reason. (Like the rest of their network, it was very consensual and the performers seemed to be into it, not something you can say for all sites in this category.)
- ALS Scan is not really watersports as some define it, really just solo girls peeing, and usually for photoshoots, so the video is mostly BTS (true of a lot of ALS).
- ATK, like ALS, is really just solo, though they classify it as "Watersports" on their sites.
- Wet And Pissy, plus some of its related site Wet and Puffy; again solo, but longer, dedicated scenes, not "Oh, let's do this for two minutes at the end of the shoot." You could think of it as a twist on the masturbation genre and no one tries to label it "squirting" there.

Some other sites:

- InTheCrack is also solo, but probably the closest closeups available if that's what you're into.
- The European 15 site network that includes Tainster, Fully Clothed Pissing, Pee Squad, and Porn Stars At Home. Definitely not solo, and usually group watersports at that, though from the previews all the sites look indistinguishable from one another but still currently updating.
- The notorious German studio German Goo Girls' 666 Bukkake. It's like normal bukkake but with watersports instead...it's made the company founder John Thompson quite rich so it must have an audience. I've seen some of their DVDs but never subscribed to the site, though a TBP review is supposed to be coming up soon.
- The European 21Sextury has quite a few watersports scenes, including solo, girl-girl, and boy-girl. Playboy this site definitely ain't but pretty tame considering their hardcore content also includes things like anal fisting.
- I think that innocent-but-actually-nasty porn star Roxy Raye does some solo peeing on her site as well, but again, if you know what she can/will do it is the most vanilla of her content.
- The European DDF Network, mostly solo but also some girl-girl and boy-girl. It's a huge network so their watersports is a tiny fraction of what they offer. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I accept porn is mainly sausage machine or baked bean production, with a few mavericks, specialists, and niches outside mainstream. There are things that irritate me, but I look at all the amazing porn I have seen in the last 5 years and compare it to what I was watching 10-30 years ago and there's no comparison.

I agree. Overall I'd much rather be watching something from the last five years than almost anything from the 1990s. You now get a much bigger selection of genres, fetishes, qualities, and formats. Of course these all seem to screw over the producers who have suffer with consumers who can buy, or just as easily steal, individual clips and scenes and not have to suffer through full length DVDs, features, or whatever compilations were thrown together.

And frankly, especially for many viewers around my age, "plot" just doesn't factor in the way it seems to for the older porn hounds. Let's be honest; you take an average 20-something who has watched porn (never mind the kind of person this age who claims to have never done so ) and they won't have the nicest thing to say about porn 'staches, overgrown bushes, and Ron Jeremy without an enormous gut. And don't take it the wrong way, but the idea of buying a VHS (or "borrowing" Dad's ), going to a theater, or sitting through an hour-plus feature is laughable to many of us. You'd think if people were going to cut one part on a baby's body it wouldn't be the genitals. Of course I'm the kind of person who thinks piercing a baby's ears is child abuse so I'm even more biased against circumcision.

I've watched his show a few times and though it loses its novelty pretty quickly it's still way less annoying then all the eardrum-rupturing bleeps heard on other shows. Interesting how these are all self-imposed by the networks lest the FCC punishes them for the thought-crime of uttering a "dirty" word.

I wonder how much of it is because it's early in the day when they arrive on set since so many of them look less than well rested, or it's simply that they're not going on a date and they look like they do in "before" because they're going to be so heavily (a few way too heavy) made up anyway.

The big difference seems to be in eyes, whether it's eyeshadow or concealer, that transforms them from girl-next-door to the Internet's latest porn countess. And the differences don't seem to just be making them sluttier/sexier/whatever but subtly more mature, at least in terms of their libidos if not their ages. A lot of them just look younger and more innocent in the before photos.

Personally I don't like a lot of the "after" looks; that exhausted porn style that has become a gaudy cliche of gigantic lips, ancient Egypt-like eyeshadow, and no freckles reminds me too much of one of those nightmarish "companion" sex robot things. Maybe I've seen Terminator 2 too many times and just don't trust robots enough to have sex with them or even leave them in my home while I sleep, but that vacant look can really ruin an otherwise naturally attractive woman.

I know I'll draw some fire just for thinking this, but I'd almost prefer fake tits to the clown face look so many performers get after a while in the business. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? It's the quiet ones you gotta keep an eye on, isn't it?

Granted, I haven't commented on PU in a few weeks, but it's reading a thread like this, regardless of it's original topic (whatever that was! ), that reminds me why I shouldn't stay away too long. I leave for a little while and someone tosses a hand grenade into the mix.

To address that temporary member's comment about too many uncircumcised performers, I've never understood this complaint. Bill Maher, who might be described as one of those "whacked out liberals" the guy was howling about, once made the same exact comment about seeing them in porn. Really, how many straight guys watch porn for the performers' penile aesthetics?

If I'm going to be at all concerned about the guy's looks, it's going to when he's some overweight hairball or conversely some steroidal he-man tattooed to douchebag perfection, not because of a long-ago decision by his parents (how many guys have ever actually consented to a circumcision?). Reminds me of Patton Oswalt's "Clean Filth" routine on saying something dirty in a G-rated form for TV and in the process making it a lot more horrifying.

"I'm going to fill your hoo-ha with my goof juice!"

The funniest--or possibly the creepiest--versions of these are when sites write descriptions for video scenes and use words that a ten year old would recognize but in a context designed to attract a horny adult. I would think smoking would be a more likely cause than just oral sex by itself, but of course a screaming headline like "Oral Sex Caused Douglas' Cancer" makes a way better (if as of now unproven) tabloid front page than some boring bullshit about more study being needed--I wanted to be scared now, damnit! Sex sells, but scary sex "facts"--sourced from the encyclopedia of some writer or editor's ass--seem to sell even more.

An article from Men's Journal last year mentions some risk factors, such as "[l]osing your virginity at an early age and having many sexual partners boost your chances; so do tobacco use and a history of genital warts." Granted Men's Journal is definitely not a health publication, especially considering that it seems to be obsessed with how men can have more sex, get six pack abs, and regularly engage in some real manly shit. The previews of the new PS4 and the XBox One looked cool...but good lord, do these companies know how to nickel and dime people. I understand there's a technological limit to backwards-compatibility--which both of these upcoming systems are planned to lack--but this whole Cloud gaming bullshit is taking a good idea too far.

Removing physical media from the picture is inevitable; it's cheaper for the manufacturer and the consumer, and simplifies the process of buying and then playing a game. But it also unfortunately puts increasing power into the parent company's greedy hands. Besides the system and its accessories, what's left for gamers to actually own? (I'm sure they'd lease systems if they could get away with that too.)

I currently have a PS3 and enjoy it along with its free online network*, but it is getting close to seven years old in the U.S. and a next gen system would be very welcome at this point. I'll just be watching my wallet as well.

*XBox Live, PlayStation Network's rival, supposedly requires that you pay an annual subscription--even for other online subscriptions you're already paying for. Any XBox 360 owners' extra input or experience would help here because this sounds almost too stupid to be true. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? Don't forget it was also attractive to be pale and fair skinned.

I think I've mentioned this before in another post, but a tan or sunburn was considered the sign of a lowly peasant or laborer (working in the sun), while the "better" classes could afford to stay out of the sun. This did at least have the benefit of not aging people as much or giving them skin cancer, while today we're brainwashed enough to describe tans as giving oneself a "healthy glow"--for many of us that couldn't be farther from the truth! Telling some porn star her account is closed because of "compliance issues" (which sounds like the financial equivalent of "Hey, go fuck yourself!") doesn't seem so out of line considering they seem to run their banks much the same way Tony Montana ran his drug business in "Scarface," though instead of eventually getting shot and killed by his boss' thugs, they get a bailout. I think you hit the nail on the head here. You see a site as solo, you want it to stay that way. So when ALS Scan starting going hardcore, like boy-girl hardcore, I thought it was practically criminal. I don't want to see any penises! (To be fair, this is what I'd imagine any of ALS's models would say if they ever met me in person.)

It seemed like my little utopia of Internet heaven that had once seemed so innocent and peaceful had been invaded by an army of erections and hairy man ass douchebaggery.

Of course it's really because earlier this year ALS Scan became part of the MetArt Network--"Where Flawless Beauty Meets Art" they claim--and though they may be in the minority, plenty of boners already abound. They had already experimented previously with adding boy-girl scenes and to expand, if even only a little for now, is the next natural step. But oh, how I long for the simpler days... Since this thread is already addressing the controversial topic of fake breasts, I don't want to steer it into the can of worms that is the debate over healthcare in the U.S., but I believe that the new Affordable Care Act/"ObamaCare" makes this practice illegal.

Frankly, my biggest issue with Jolie's essay was the fact that she has the money (plus the work-leave policy, if we're being honest) to be able to make this decision a little more easily. Healthcare is so closely connected to personal wealth in the U.S. that it's practically Kafkaesque in terms of morality. And while some women may benefit from the same procedure I doubt they all have the same economic means to make it like Jolie did.

Be careful going out on that limb, pat!

How are you defining "alter their appearance"? Makeup? Hair? Dress? Tattoos? You don't even have to mention plastic surgery and the idea that altering one's appearance is not exactly the result of being hypersensitive.

We live in a society that expects people, particularly women, especially younger women, to alter their appearance as we see fit. Hence, women putting on makeup everyday is just something they do, otherwise it would be considered weird or abnormal. Granted some plastic surgeries seem a little excessive, but given the emphasis we place on women and the kind of bodies the majority of us are assumed to view as "beautiful," breast implants and augmentations don't seem all that illogical after all.

Now Cassandra Nix looks pretty attractive to me in that posted photo above, but others might say that because of her small breasts she doesn't look like a "real woman," or the more militant critic might even accuse me of being some sort of closeted pedophile. I've heard both of these complaints in real life from men and women (men generally the former, women the latter). Suddenly a genetically inherited trait (naturally small breasts) is grounds for criticizing her looks or anyone's attraction to them, and I don't think you can totally blame the patients for why they want plastic surgery. It may not be a tree branch, but how about a "sculpted and polished phallus" for ancient sexual pleasure?

I would like to think that maybe we are more sexually evolved--if that's even the right word--than our ancestors, but I also hope we haven't always had so many humorless prudes within our population as well. We still have a long way to go on that front if so many people can still be guilt-tripped into believing that perfectly normal, natural urges and desires are somehow wrong and should be suppressed. The financially lean times certainly don't help though, plus how the industry (or even just certain sites, like what happened to AbbyWinters) have to play pinball with increasingly strict rules and regulations, even ones that come from so-called progressives or others who claim to "protect liberty." Add to this the ease with which everything digital can now be downloaded, copied, and then distributed, regardless of copyright protection or angry lawyer threats.

Bottom line, the industry's going to have to figure out how to best keep both their customers and the politicians happy--which at this point is a tug-of-war match--while making the product worth people's hard-earned money. Though I wouldn't call him "impressive" myself, James Deen comes to mind when you're talking about a porn star who seems to delight both female viewers and co-stars. He's not some steroidal, ex-con-looking freak with a boner, but he's certainly not Ron Jeremy-fat or hairy either.

Deen's rabid (horny) female fan base seems to be attracted to his comparatively innocent boy-next-door looks and the fact that he isn't some vile Max Hardcore impersonator. And porn girls actually want to work with him because of his nice guy personality, sexual reliability (he's still in his 20s), and the overall lack of creepiness that seems to afflict a lot of the regular porn actors. Hell, his interviewers (female ones, of course) even seem to want to fuck him.

And judging by his blog, guys probably envy him or just plain hate him for having the life that he does. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? No offense to The Hedgehog, but c'mon! Jeremy is conspicuously overweight--hell, it is part of his trademark look. To say that the two are completely unrelated would surprise me. Point is I think speed is key, a fast martial artist may get to the gunman faster then he could draw. Me I would be running the other direction ( unless armed myself) and use a cell phone to call 911.

Speed is key, and a shit ton of luck always helps. For example, if you are attacked from behind and quickly knocked unconscious then you don't exactly have the upper hand, much less a fighting chance unless your attacker has no interest in bothering with you further.

Running away is probably your best bet in a lot of situations. This insane idea of "standing your ground" like you're in a Charles Bronson film is just asking for trouble--not to mention criminal charges, once the actual authorities arrive--and could easily get you killed when you realize that no amount of training and/or gym time can magically protect you from knife and gunshot wounds. I would think that's the whole issue, since weight (or mass, if you're measuring in kg) doesn't really tell you a whole lot about someone's body. Even combined with other measurements (height, waist, chest, etc.), it can still not be a good indicator of what would truly make a "fair fight," if such a thing even exists.

Women and men have different fat and muscle ratios and they're distributed around the body differently. And I would think the worry would be that a transgender fighter, even post-op, still has an unfair advantage. Genetically speaking, she may just have an easier time building or maintaining a certain amount of muscle that a weight classification would not make a difference.

Sort of like how two cars could be the same exact weight, but their engines, transmissions, and suspensions could be very different and you wouldn't want to race them against each other. OK guess I am just confused in general.

I think I pretty much agree 100% with you, CT, including the confused part.

The problem, at least as I see it, is that tattoos are treated like so many other things in porn--another tag or genre-qualifying selling point. It is a business after all, and whatever could possibly attract more eyeballs/open wallets is given free reign to sell the performer and the porn.

So, instead of just a girl with tattoos, you have someone who may lean towards the Suicide Girls-look of things. And if she is shaved, properly pierced, and has her hair dyed then she's likely already been there and done that. Or conversely she can grow a bush and suddenly she can sell herself as "hairy" to every site that has decided such a thing now warrants mentioning, since they don't want to risk offending every panting smooth body lover out there. Tweak the formula a little bit and maybe you can make some more money off of it.

Or maybe someone can just go whole hog, pump her lips full of collagen, get some back-straining (not to mention gravity-defying) breast implants, and, why not, a lot more tattoos, and never look back. And after seeing more than enough of it I guess I'm guilty of simply being bored with it all, in both porn and real life. Because when everyone and her mother is doing it, finding a girl with no tattoos and all that other vain shit we (including myself! ) have indulged in can feel like finding the survivor of a suicide cult who didn't drink the Kool-Aid (or Flavor Aid, if you want to get technical). Don't give them any ideas, Drooler!

Even the more criminal pornographers out there--Seymore Butts, Max Hardcore, and John Stagliano, just to name three--are still way more trustworthy with money than some of the biggest banks I can think of. (For one thing, porn companies usually don't advertise their product with Vikings.)

What does it say about our country that our government will spend time and money fighting what it views as "obscene"--those filthy pornographers and their products that, at worse, make people wish they could do more in bed--but will spend billions rescuing institutions that imploded under their own drunken greed and fuck-it-all mismanagement?

Charging $1 for bullshit "previews" like these is annoying, and BangBros does come off as one of the more irritatingly doucherier porn sites out their, but I doubt they've done anything as shitty as, say, launder money for drug cartels or finagled a secret deal to protect them from numerous legal claims! Very true. But it can be hard to tell the exact reason for a lower cost or a sale. Glut of relatively unpopular products that aren't so good? Or did they stock too many of an older model that's being updated but it's still a decent product?

Hard disk drives are a very good value in terms of cost per amount of space, but the nature of how they operate--parts moving at very high speed and reaching high temperatures--sets them up for eventual mechanical failure.

That's probably because most of the U.S. still legislates the hell out of sex, or even the possibility of sex, so "massage" is euphemistic for brothel.

This one struck me too. Don't know if it's people only searching for their own race in porn (since the majority of American porn is assumed to be white, otherwise the race becomes a genre), or people searching for forbidden fruit in a less racially harmonious region of the country. Like how some social conservatives publicly oppose homosexuality or gay marriage but probably have no problem with girl-girl porn (but really, who does? ). "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I think a case like this would be common (not to mention logical) on Germany's Autobahn where for much of the highway posted speed limits don't exist and the left lane is strictly for passing and the right lanes are for driving. (Unless you're some rich asshole with a fast enough car to simply pass everyone.)

The stereotype seems to be that LA has the worst traffic but I think the DC-Maryland-Virginia area have actually grabbed the No. 1 spot for the last few years. I would think this is because of jurisdiction limiting LA's hassles (if only a tiny bit) and suburban sprawl feeding the problem around DC, because even though Los Angeles County is massive, it does have definitive borders.

The "DC area" is pretty vague and can at times include everything from Quantico, VA (site of a big Marine Corps base south of DC) to Baltimore, MD. This would be a corridor of over 75 miles and include millions of people, and yes, traffic can be a shitstorm every mile of the way. This would also make its drivers vulnerable to the assholery of MD and VA state troopers, as well as county and city police officers within those areas. (DC has numerous law enforcement agencies but most don't deal with traffic.)

Add in generally worse weather (particularly in the winter), an overdriven populace of federally funded "professionals," plus more conservative local governments, and I'd agree that traffic is worse there.

Still, allow your government to have too much power, combined with too much time on its hands (because cases like this are clearly not serious crimes), and you get the impression of a dumb, power-hungry police force.

I've personally never understood the appeal of celebrity sex tapes. They're boring, poorly shot, and generally not intended for an audience beyond the couple (or threesome, or whatever) who are in the video. And even then it's not totally consensual, like the Paris Hilton, which I assume is why it's essentially night vision-lit, i.e. not at all, lest she would have discovered her dipshit of a partner's camera.

The Paris Hilton tape sort of proves how non-porn these things really are. Rick Salomon, her partner, has shacked up with numerous other famous women, albeit off camera, and started selling the sex tape himself. Eventually ol' Rick got a deal with Red Light District--who have literally hundreds of other videos that were always intended as porn--but may not have gotten the last laugh. Apparently Paris was paid at least $400K + a percentage of the video's profits as a result of a legal settlement, an amount few porn stars could even seriously dream of, much less actually make on one video. Who knows, maybe they have to consult the North Korean equivalent of that John Edward douche of a TV psychic every time they need to make a big decision? "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? True. And if this next (last?) Star Wars trilogy is a sequel then Disney hopefully won't insert younger versions of those actors from old footage, like they did with the newer DVD releases by replacing the original actor (Sebastian Shaw) who played the ghost of Anakin Skywalker at the end of Return of the Jedi with the younger Hayden Christensen from the prequels. He won an Academy Award for The Bridge on the River Kwai.

He was also nominated for an Oscar for his work in Star Wars.

He certainly didn't hate the money. He supposedly got a percentage of whatever the director (Lucas for Episode IV) earned in residuals for the rest of his life. Guiness died in 2000, so merchandise, video games, VHS, and maybe even DVDs, likely brought him some healthy royalty checks over the years.

I don't think any of the original younger actors could pull off that kind of a deal that early in their careers, or at least not anywhere as much as Guiness or for Episode IV. Still, you have faith in a big project like that--Guiness believed it would be successful--and you play your cards right then it can pay off quite well. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I'd say that they have all aged pretty well considering but my idea of them is as those young rebel fighters and not as grand-parents.

They weren't all young in the original series. Alec Guiness (Obi-Wan) and Peter Cushing (General Moff Tarkin) were born in 1914 and '13 respectively, making them both in their 60s when they played their roles in Episode IV. Of course both characters are killed off rather climatically.

Guiness never seemed to have many positive things to say about his role, and was kind of let down when Stars Wars nerds identified him solely because of a series of films that he thought were childish and full of silly dialogue (he might have a point there ). I'd imagine a guy who had already worked for decades as an actor, including in Shakespeare plays and Oscar-winning films, a sci-fi series is best regarded for its paycheck and not much else.

What happened with Ford, Fischer, and Hamill is pretty different. Ford of course became one of the biggest stars of all time while Hamill and Fisher never seemed to fully escape that weird fan universe Star Wars birthed. Still maybe they can at least bring back Han Solo just so he can lethally blast that awful Jar Jar Binks or freeze him in carbonite--permanently! "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? Considering that the Internet has given us such wonders as Hot Kinky Jo (thanks Al Gore) does Playboy even count anymore?

Also, given that she seems to be famous simply for being famous--a "socialite" in polite company--and is one of the genetic products of an attorney who willingly helped to defend O.J Simpson, I don't really have much interest in seeing her do porn, or frankly being anywhere near a camera.
