Haha - only if McCain were 3 or 4 thousand years old. Actually, their estimate of the Earth's age (which would also be the Universe's age) might be a bit longer than that - I can't remember.

Oh! I'm an idiot - sorry, lol. In that case - yes! All the freaking time! The web is so incomprehensibly massive, that I often run across articles mentioning some obscure website - especially little project pages or articles on various studies and so on. Science magazines are great for finding nifty little sites for more content on one topic or another. Hmm... that reminds me, I have to renew some subscriptions...

Off-line as in, in the real world? Not really - as I don't have subscriptions to any industry magazines and any site big enough for main stream media to pick up on I've already run across via online resources. As for friends, I am their adviser for porn - so I rarely, if ever, learn about new sites from them. So there really should be a sixth option: "Not Applicable."

It is true - it has a relatively high proportion of cons for the score and if it were a solitary site I'd put it in the high 70's. The site is small; there are a few significant adjustments in the way the scenes are directed that I'd like to see and the content could be provided in a higher definition. However, this site is part of a very large, very easy to use, and feature friendly network.
The functionality of the network is really quite top notch and while I think the webmaster(s) can sometimes be a bit slack on their thoroughness of categorizing the content, the web designer(s) have done a helluva job. I think it is silly to ignore that a site is a member of network if it cannot be joined by its lonesome. The Brazzers Network is of quite high quality, has an enormous amount of content (1660 scenes to date) and while it has its faults you will, excluding if you are totally opposed to the porn star look and behavior, generally find plenty of content that you like.
As for Teens Like it Big specifically - I was impressed with most of the models they have hired for the site, with only one or two of them did I avoid downloading their scene. Do they overact? Yes. Is it distracting? Yes. Is that going to stop me from watching and enjoying it? No. I personally have never and nor do I believe I will ever run across a site that is perfect. Being part of an excellent network helps a lot - and it helps lower ranked sites better than higher ranked sites. Right now Teens Like it Big is being supported a bit by the strength of its network (just like Real Wife Stories), but with some tweaking and growth I think it will become one of the foundations of the network.
Speaking of Real Wife Stories, that site has less cons than this one (except being smaller), but I gave this site a slightly higher rating frankly because the models are more attractive in my book. Real Wife Stories sticks with standard silicone injected starlets for the most part while Teens gives you natural with the exception of one girl (so far). That fact alone boosted the score 5 points for me.
Also - you pointed out the youth of the site as a negative. I really think reviews need to have a certain amount of foresight. I try to review the site both as it is and will be - hopefully punishing new sites less. Brazzers obviously knows the issue of starting a new site with little to no content: in the first two days of its life they added 10 scenes. Not a bad start and they have been extremely regular with their updates at once a week or faster. If a site appears to not be updating, they will indeed be punished severely if they are small - but otherwise, I'm more lenient. Anyway - choosing a just numeric score is often the hardest thing for me as it is so debatable. I hope this novelette clarified my thinking to a degree, if not making it totally transparent.
Cheers!

I will do so if requested by the webmaster personally or if I have some specific point I want to tell them. Otherwise I let my reviews do the talking (assuming I remember to write one).

I generally get about 80 to a 100 spam emails a day, however I've never actually kept track of what sites were causing it. It isn't all that inconvenient. Sure it would be nice to not have spam, but current spam blockers are pretty good.

Very important in two ways - in solo instances the model looks more attractive when looking directly at the camera (this is standard human response that studies have oft confirmed, though sample sizes sometimes leave a bit to be desired), and in scenes with two (or more) models performing together, I prefer to see the models making eye contact with each other. If it is a hardcore scene, they should not be looking at the camera - it is no fun when they break the "fourth wall".

I generally try not to - as a good preview page usually is the equivalent of a limited trial. However, I understand a webmaster's hesitation for doing a full trial. If I were running a site, I would focus my efforts on a good preview page and not offer any trial.
I have on occasion accidentally joined a limited trial - that was always upsetting.
Btw, there is a typo in the quiz: "depeding"

That would indeed be wise :-) Though you might be surprised the terms and conditions you have inadvertently agreed to in the past. Sometimes it requires as little acknowledgment as taking the document into your possession. Trains were covering all kinds of crazy conditions by just printing them very small on the train ticket and stating that by taking the ticket you agreed to the conditions. I think in the end they got in trouble for that, but it worked for a while, lol

Looking through the preview photos, I gotta agree with you - it looks like they are using seriously sub par equipment. My $700 DSLR takes photos that are just as good. One really needs to foot the bill for a proper camera if they want to be METArt 2.0.

I don't usually read the Terms and Conditions but I'll bet this isn't all that uncommon. In business in general it is common practice to reserve as many rights as you can think of with no concern as to if it will or will not hold up in the court of law. If you had it written down in the first place it can do nothing other than help you. So they write it down and hope for the best. If you check the policies of many companies outside this industry you'll find the same thing. The company I work for reserves everything excluding possibly enslaving your offspring to pay off debts incurred. Though we might have an addendum that covers that.

A Drooler and Denner pointed out, the sheer number of porn websites necessitates that there will be ones with unethical (no dash necessary) business practices. Frankly, by its very nature the question is rather vague and certainly far reaching - unethical practices can be little, annoying things like the pre-checked trial sign-ups or content rotation to big, serious things like identity theft.
I would say half of the sites in the world practice some sort of unethical business methodology. I would say those that are seen in TBP's database are much less likely to behave in such a manner. Many sites are plain bad, but not that many are trying to rip you off per-say.

"A Studied Casualness", good term - yeah, that might not be up my alley, but I'll have to check it out none-the-less. I'm certainly quite used to casual style in videos, I'm just usually less of a fan in photos. I guess, I won't know for certain until I browse the site for a while. Thanks for all the info :-)

Thanks for the clarification - it validates my estimation of the content from their preview pages. I thoroughly understand how you've tired of the "perfect" model look, it can get boring. Years ago I was a member of both MET Art and Hegre Art (back when it was called the Hegre Archives) with year long subscriptions to each. By the time the year was up, just about the last thing I wanted was to look at another glamour girl posing in a window. So I joined a few ATK sites, and that was a nice departure from the glamour model look.
As for the technical aspects of the photography - I guess I'm a bit of stickler about that. A number of people like the poor photography that sometimes shows up on Suicide Girls (which I've been a member of off and on for years) - it always drives me nuts. It isn't just a matter of the photos being crisp and throughly in focus - modern autofocus is so superb that the camera will handle that just fine as long as there is even remotely enough light. An old Sony I had actually projected a laser matrix in front of it and would autofocus in nearly pitch black.
Even with "grit" porn, I expect a certain artistic focus. So you want to do aggressively unorthodox photos and put the photographer's feet in the photo? Fine - but make that style a continuing theme throughout the site. In the preview photos I see photos that could use much color balancing, plus others with washed out colors, flash shadows and so on. Many of the photos look like they want to be smoother, they just aren't.
If you want it to be gritty - photograph it at high ISOs. Throw various objects in the extreme foreground that we have to look past. Give us bizarre angles, like overhead or underneath shots. Photograph using just the on camera flash - or light the scene with a TV. There are tons of fun ways to look amateur while being professional - I just get frustrated by content that looks professional with some amateur seeping through.
Frankly, early Hegre Art stuff had a lot of that problem, he has come a long way over the years. I don't know how young Girls Out West is - maybe they too will improve with time, or maybe they know what they are doing and it just won't ever be quite to my taste. I'll join at some point in the future and try it out, a number of the models do look rather interesting.

Looks like an interesting site, I may have to check it out sometime in the future. Though it appears to have the same basic downfall of the amateur style that Abby Winters has, many cute models but very, very few beautiful models. At least as far as the photos they put in their tour.
The photography also appears to be sub par in technical skill when compared to Simon Scans or Abby Winters (in my opinion the big two in this genre) and your description seems to confirm this. (Am I right about that?) Still, photo shoots with less of an agenda can sometimes capture some very interesting moments. Plus, the site does seem to have a huge variety of models - more varied than either of the aforementioned sites - so that is appealing.

She is indeed very cute and her style is extremely reminiscent of Bo Derek from her legendary role in "10".
For those who don't know about the role, a very good example of her look in the film is provided in these screen caps:

Anyway, exotics4me, one quick question - does this site have any hardcore or lesbian content?

messmer, why not invest in a nice widescreen monitor with a rotatable stand and then just leave the monitor in portrait mode? Or even just align it that way when you are viewing photos.
Portrait for many stylistic and practical reasons is the popular trend right now, I doubt that'll change too soon.

Are we to pull off all websites that feature John Holmes as well? What about Haley Paige?
Come on now. People die - their work lives on. Thus is the entertainment business: Be it porn, movies, music, books, paintings, et cetera. If anything, one could argue that by denying the person's work an audience you are killing their possibility of a legacy. Then your Chloe Jones is just a young woman that died. Sure, it might not be in best taste to make no note of it on her website, but this industry isn't very well known for being in best taste. That is sometimes the appeal of the porn industry; that it is on the edge of bad taste.

Sorry, folks, I understand there are sentimental and nostalgic attitudes about this among you - but I really feel this is a silly topic.
Am I to believe that people can't enjoy "Some Like It Hot" the same way anymore because Monroe is dead? The same goes for porn, it is just entertainment. I think you are tying way too much of an emotional connection to these stars if you feel you can't watch their work after they've passed on. People die peacefully and tragically; it happens. What matters is that their work lives on and is enjoyed by future generations, even if it is "just porn".
Unless, you mean for me to take the question literally. In that case: Of course it bothers me! Zombies are NOT sexy!
