Like others have said Blu-Ray's are pretty expensive and, since I don't have an HD tv, I don't see the point. What I'm sort of waiting for is an all in one tivo type recorder with built in dvd, blu-ray, and burner capability along with a direct pc plug in and basic computer that can read externals. The technology exists for this but I really haven't seen one yet.
Others have said they don't like handling physical media, preferring the all hard drive approach. I'm just too paranoid to go that route. I would still want the option of discs just in case my drive(s) go bad.

Lot's of good humorous replies on this one which is what I was looking for when I suggested this as a poll. Personally, I had to go with the building a raft book. I figure most porn stars wouldn't be that exciting after a few days without a shower and I'm not that big on an all fruit diet ... don't need to be stuck on an island sniffing my own gas emissions.

I have to agree with pretty much everything you said. I should re-edit my review to more accurately reflect the problems with the search engine. More recently I've noticed that download speeds seem to have gotten better but I rarely exceed 600mbs. Overall, not a bad site though in terms of content and the DL speeds are satisfactory.

I would say, like JayG, that really is no bad place to shoot porn since a decent photographer should be able to find a work around for almost every situation. It's just that most photographers don't take the time or lack to skill to deal with bad angles and lighting situations. I would say the worst place to shoot porn is where, for whatever reason, the camera seems to be stuck on a tripod and unable to move. Doesn't matter the site, we've all seen the vids where the camera just sits there while the actors go through position roulette and all you get is occasional glimpse of the action because the camera dude apparently decided to take his break then.

I say "Yes" because, quite frankly, unless you live in a district where porn is a big industry I don't know of any politician who would come and say that they're "pro porn" or just neutral on the subject. Thus, you get lots of politicians talking about family values and the need to reduce the amount of porn exposure kids get, etc. What really matters is how they feel about government intrusion into your privacy and whether they are actually introducing anti-porn legislation as opposed to just talking about it. Most of the anti-porn pols are just right wing culture warriors who I'm only going to make fun of and never vote for. However, I can see voting for someone who takes an anti-porn stance if the rest of what they're talking about seems good and they're anti-porn is mostly extraneous campaign chatter.

Hey Crow, just wanted to say welcome to PU. My thought on this site, as well as other adult dating sites, is that it's really an exercise in the suspension of belief. I mean, is the hot chick they have posted on the site really IMing you or is just whoever happens to be running the 15 chat lines at the moment doing it. With the live cam functions, it strikes me more as a porn site as opposed to a dating site (this isn't your fault it's just the description and how it's labelled in the PU/TBP search sytem). Does anyone actually hook up on these things and not actually pay for it as though it were a prostitution front?

I'll post something after I get access to it in about. However, I should note that I don't get access for another 42 days (apparently this is one of the sites I have to wait two months for before I get). Anyway, it is mostly softcore and it does appear to have lots of fresh faced girls on it. Not a top notch site but at the price levels ($15 US after one month and $10 US thereafter) if you had any inclination at all to check it out then it would be worth staying around in my book.

My only addition is that most of these directors don't even rise to the level of Hollywood director wannabes. You don't hear directors shouting out how Angelina Jolie should kiss another actor in some blockbuster movie. They do it because they can, it makes them feel important and because they don't care what others think so long as they keep selling porn.

I used Downloadthemall. However, on sites this big I typically don't run a DL manager because I don't want to sift all the content later and I don't have enough storage for it all. I started it and let it run for a few minutes to make sure it was working and seemed to be. Maggie, who did the TBP review, noted that she had a DL manager working on the site as well. Hopefully this helps.

Sorry if you feel that your opinions aren't welcome here (don't know the story enough to comment) but I have no problem with people asking questions about sites.
Anyway, your are correct in that you don't get access to everything 21sextury has to offer. Don't know why they're doing it this way but I guess I can't bitch at having access to 40 decent sites.

As for Zoliboy, it looks like about 1/3 of the content is split up so that you still have download two or more updates to get the full scene. I don't know why he does this but, not having been a member of Zoliboy before, overall it looks like he hasn't really brought his product into the 21st century: few pics, smallish movies (most are only "high" or "medium" quality .wmv files) and a messed up model directory.
I believe that it wasn't until late last year or early this year that 21sextury started including more sites into one network (I think that came with the overall of the site(s) design). Moonbyrd did spell it out in that you don't get access to all of the 21sextury sites: there is still some segregation going on as he mentioned. Just as reminder, you don't get all 40 sites until after 30 days, just 25 the first month.

Me, I need a laser printer. The standard ink jet is fine but the laser is needed for some business and hobby stuff. Otherwise, I'd really like to get a swanky SLR digital camera like a Digital Rebel. My current camera is way old in the tooth and doesn't clock enough megapixels to get really great results.

I just checked and the mid level video downloads (at least in the .wmv format which I think they all are) are a bit grainy in comparison to the newer content. It's not dreadful but not crystal clear either.

For whatever reasons, Zoliboy didn't do much for me. No real picture sets so that's sort of a bummer for me and, personally, I thought the content wasn't quite as good as the other "flagship" sites.
Denner gave you the specs on BlueAngelLive. I think they started her site last year knowing that Sophie Moon was leaving and hoping to have some hot, young starlet fill that niche. Sophie's site was better in terms of diversity but this one is still growing and finding its way.

- Broken links on some photos and preview thumbs (click the "x", it's probably there) and I got a few bad video downloads.
- DL speeds not so hot (mostly 120 to 500 kps, the more channels I have going the faster it seems to go for me).
- Pic sizes are obsolete for the level of quality they otherwise offer.
- Zips and movie files are not labeled well. |

I used to love the individual sites but rarely joined in the past because of price. With the sweet PU/TBP deal, I couldn't resist and will probably stay a member for many months, damn near a first for me. Here's the low down:
PICS: All scenes have zip but all pic sizes are limited to 1280x850. WTF? The flagship sites here scream quality but they're still launching 20th century quality with their pic sizes. Most scenes have 100 to 160 pics. Also, when viewing pics individually the horizontal slide bar doesn't automatically appear on landscape shots (again, why?). Once you get past the Flagships, the pics are few and far between but there is plenty to keep you going with the big 6 sites.
VIDS: Awesome size on the newest vids. Most of the stuff within the last few years maxes out at 1280. The oldest content and a lot of the content outside the flagship sites peaks at 640 or even 460. You do get 10 screen caps minimum to see what you're getting. You can DL full scenes or scenes. In browser stream is an option and works well. On the most recent content, you usually have 3 download options, only 1 or 2 on the older. Full scene file sizes range from about 40 mb (low quality) to 2 gigs (best quality). DL speed is an issue as I noted above.
SEARCH: There is a 25 filter search system which looks awesome. As noted, the problem lies in the lack of adequate tags. Thus, the system sort of defeats itself and you're better off just going through the sites you like one by one. There is a central model directory which appears complete but no model bio's are given.
As for "the rest": Some sites have lots of dead links for pics and the like. Just click them, they usually bring something up but it's annoying and a pretty basic problem to overcome. If you liked the old calendar version of the site, the new set up takes a little getting used to. However, after a few days I found it much easier to use, especially on a network this size and found they had lots of options for customizing. It didn't take more than a few clicks to go and get what I wanted.
A big issue for me is why are they adding all this content beyond the flagship sites for the first month. It's obviously 3rd party produced and the models and production values just aren't up to 21stSextury snuff. Apparently they feel the need to keep up with Brazzers or NewSensations and add a bunch of sites to pump up the numbers and add "new" sites with overlapping content. My advice is to keep your standards up and focus on the good sites you already had. I'll take quality over quantity ... especially if you boost your pic sizes.
Lastly, despite the many negatives I pointed out, I'm still scoring this one a "91" simply because of the volume of content on even just the flagship sites, the hot babes and hot videos. With more sites coming to me soon, it can only get better. Well worth a join even if it leaves this picture fan a bit miffed. |

Most of the cuckold stuff isn't done very well in my book. It's usually some couple pretending to be a couple which is pretty much how most porn scenes are done. As for the wifey being the domininant one in the relationship, it doesn't do anything for me. If you reverse the roles, it's basically like some dude dragging his spouse down to the swingers club and making her watch while he bangs other chicks. Why is it suddenly more erotic if the situation is switched around?
