Agree with pat, I think the "star" part is a bit overused, but I am always in for more hardcore performers - provided they don't have stupid tats or ridiculous fake parts...
Yeah, I have edited a few of the scenes to take that content out, I have never heard of anyone who was a fan of this niche either. Perhaps my porn veiwing habits are more mainstream than I though...
I gotta say, all three are pretty bad from my perspective. Last time I joined RK I was quite surprised by what seemed to be a significant increase in plastic.
No problem, when I joined I looked through all the company sites listed on PU to see if any had Fuck Studies as a bonus site, and none of them did, so I just joined that site directly. Unfortunately it seems full price is the only option for now...
When I was a member, I got all of the sites you listed as bonus content. However, be careful when you join, as this company often switches bonus content around, and sometimes you don't get the same set of bonus sites if you use the PU discount. In my experience what is listed on the join page is what you get.
The last time I was a member I re-downloaded some of their older material as I had also lost it, and the quality didn't appear to be any better. Perhaps they have re-encoded some stuff since then, that was back in March. I doubt it though, I'm sure their focus is much more at getting new material out.
Just wanted to give an update on this site since no one has in a while, I've been getting pretty decent download speeds, so I guess they have resolved the issues MargulisAZ experienced. They have also added a mirror download site. I've been maxing my connection when downloading via both the mirror and regular sites (1.2 MB/sec).
Yeah he's a pretty major tool, for some reason I thought it was the same guy as backroomcastingcouch, then realized this guy didn't have the outie... I like this type of niche as well, that's why I joined, but the negatives are pretty major.

-Interesting concept, videos typically provide both a "regular" scene and either POV or behind the scenes
-Newer videos pretty decent quality, 640x360 4150 kbps WMV was the best I saw
-Zip downloads of photosets, although photosets are pretty limited
-Decent sized collection, 156 models at time of review. A lot of the models that appear here also appear on their sister site: backroomcastingcouch.com. Most models only have 1 scene (with a POV and regular video) some have multiple.
-Better navigation than their sister site, have model index, but no search function.
-Provide model information
-Exclusive content
-No DRM
-Download managers work
Cons:
-Model attractiveness is pretty variable
-Download speeds are not great, best I have seen is 400 KB/s
-Older videos are poor quality, 480x360 1600 kbps MPG was worst I have seen so far
-Camerawork isn't the best
-Photo quality is mediocre
-Price is a little high given the quantity of content
-Too many tattoos
-The guy in the scenes is sort of a douche
-Guy censors his face, which can be distracting in the scenes
-1 update per week
-No real bonus content, some non exclusive steaming sites is all you get.
Bottom Line:
I joined this site primarily because they have a few models I liked from backroomcastingcouch, and I figured this site was bigger so it'd probably also be better. While the site does have some good content, and I like the concept of providing the POV and the regular scene, I found it to be sort of lacking compared with backroomcastingcouch. I can't really put my finger on why, perhaps the models weren't as good (although the two sites have many of the same models), perhaps I am now realizing that the dude is a pretty standard porn douchebag. He seems to get off much more on humiliation than on the other site. Edit: Just realized its a different dude than the other place.
I don't get what is sexy about having the ladies lick his ass, perhaps this is a turn-on for some, but certainly not for me. I plan on editing all that crap out of the videos - and this is not a rare occurence, I'd say almost half of the videos have this type of content.
There is definitely more anal on this site than on their other site, for those that are interested in that kind of stuff. Although I would say it is still not super-common, maybe 15-25% of the videos or so.
There are definitely some videos from this site I will keep, and there are a couple that may become favorites, so I wouldn't say this site is a total waste of money, but it definitely isn't great, and definitely could use some work. Get rid of the dude, if he doesn't want to show his face, find someone that will, or at least teach him some manners. He is starting to sound an aweful lot like those jackasses on the BangBus.
Also, merge these two sites for the same price. There are tons of sites out there that are cheaper with 10x the content, 60% of the price of these two sites combined. If they still have to source material, they really should re-encode the old stuff, that bitrate is just totally unacceptable these days.
Bottom Line, a site worth joining if you see some models you like in the preview. Although don't count on being overly impressed with the material. Certainly not worth joining for more than a month given the infrequent updates.
As many have said, probably not a discussion worth joining - I'd probably shrug my shoulders and walk away unless I were particularly drunk and they were being particularly obnoxious about it.
Seems like a new studio, iafd shows all their films having been produced in 2009-2010. The content looks somewhat interesting, you can get a full preview if you enter your email address.

I agree, any site with sketchy cancellation processes is a poor site in my mind and I would skip it. Although, I would skip it anyway given the content...
I have been averaging less than 200 KB/sec (total DL speed) since joining this site, hopefully it is just a technical problem, but certainly not promising. Also since logins timeout, download managers haven't been working so well (path disappears).
On the plus side, the content I have been able to download is pretty decent.
Also, in response to dracken's question, no network access from this site either - there are bonus sites but they all appear to be streaming only.

Wow, that is crazy low. Weird, maybe it is a Europe thing? Perhaps local ISPs in the UK were capping their bandwidth since they are such a hog? What'd it take, like 5 days to download a small video?
Really? I never had any problems with download speeds, sometimes during what I'm sure are peak download times it would slow a bit. Perhaps you were logging in at bad times or they had technical problems when you were a member? Certainly not the best download speeds, I'm sure they use a ton of bandwidth.
I agree that a lot of people probably join the site and think "holy shit, what a ton of content", but in my experience I have typically only downloaded like one scene out of every 10 DVDs (which is not a good ratio) - and I probably end up going back and deleting 50% of those later...
Thanks, its a pity they don't improve the navigation elements a bit, this site would be so much better if they did. As you said, I assume they just don't care since the site is so enormously popular - why bother?

-Excellent member interaction with reviews and opinions of videos and scenes
-Frequent updates
-Ability to creat custom clips, so you only have to download what you want.
Cons:
-Site navigation is mediocre. For a smaller site, their style might be great, but for a site this large it just doesn't work
-Search function often returns a mixed bag of seemingly random stuff, or doesn't work at all
-Model labels are often incorrect. I can accept that they can't be held responsible for what is on the DVD, but when the members comment that the model name is incorrect, would it be that difficult to fix it?
-Video quality is mediocre in this age, and the file size of newer videos seems quite large given the quality of video
-Site bills directly rather than using a 3rd party biller
-Quality of videos is very hit-or-miss, with most in my opinion being miss.
Bottom Line:
I know there are tons of reviews of this particular site, and I am sure that everyone at PU has been or will be a member eventually. This site used to be one of the best if not the best porn site on the net. However, lately I feel like they are focussing on stupid little user interface issues rather than resolving major issues with the site. How many times have they redesigned the front page? While adding user costum edited clips is interesting, who has the time to dig through that shit?
They should focus more on fixing the problems with the site. Get quality rather than quantity. They already have a huge archive, I don't think many would be dissappointed with 4-5 updates per week if they were good updates. Also, a site this large needs better navigation. The videos can easily be tagged with more info than gonzo and one on one. Tags for tats, breast size (other than large), and body type would be nice. If they don't want to do it, let the users tag the scenes - I'm sure plenty will.
This overall is a good site, and there is a reason it is so popular, but they could certainly take a cue from sites like American Vice that unfortunately failed. Like I said, everyone here should and will become a member here at some point or another, but that doesn't mean videobox doesn't have plenty of issues to resolve.
