I've got to go with full clips. I don't mind waiting for the scene to download entirely, just don't cut it in the middle of the action. Also, it's a lot easier to copy 1 file per movie than to copy 5 per movie or have to join them myself.

I'm with jd: I haven't found a site worth more than $30/month. Until then, that's my limit.

I found that a password manager can fill in those forms, too. Given that, it doesn't take any longer to get access to the site, so I don't think about it.

I just checked and I have about 30GB of Lauren Phoenix videos. I don't know what it is about her, but long legs, nice chest and a dirty mind seem to be the reasons that I like her so much. Plus, she's done hundreds of movies, so it's easy to build up a collection.

Like williamj said, the internet has much more selection and quality. However, sometimes my tivo will record a softcore movie on HBO and I'll stop to see who's in it.

I particularly agree with Drooler. There are some good newbies along with the bad, so we should be able to recognize both groups.

Hear, hear, SnowDude. A lack of funds will help you figure out which sites are worth it real fast.

I typically wait towards the end of my membership to write a review. However, there have been a few times that I have needed to go and edit my reviews.
Usually, I will use a site comment to add to my review. I want my review to be read as a snapshot in time. Any changes that happen after my membership ends or after I write the review should be looked at separately. That's why I prefer to use the comments to revise my prior statements. It hasn't happened often, but I think it is a fair mechanism.

I really like to use download managers to stack all of my downloads for times when I am asleep. Most sites allow the use of DL managers. Then again, I usually avoid sites that have download limits, so there might be some connection between sites with DL limits and their use of DL managers.
I also try to post in all of my reviews information about my success (or lack thereof) with my DL manager.

I just stay away from trials. If I am interested enough in a site, I will check the reviews here and on TBP, maybe RogReviews, and decide whether it is worth the money.

Left a porn movie playing but paused on my computer. Got up to go do something. The screensaver kicked in and I completely forgot. My girlfriend came over and got on the computer. Oops.

Rarely will a site make it a bargain to join for more than one month.

I really like the idea of using RSS for new reviews and comments. I'm not sure how useful it would be for polls or replies.
I am really impressed by the choice to add specific feeds for the different niches, sites, and companies. That is a lot of XML coding.
I was hoping that this was the Trust Ratings announcement, but I guess we're still waiting for that one. In the meantime, this was a very useful addition to TBP. Keep up the good work.

Until very recently, I always kept a membership to VideoBox. Now, I just keep moving from site to site. I'm probably spending too much on porn anyways.

As has been mentioned, the majority of these sites are very poor quality and usually just a scam to get you to sign up for more expensive sites.

There are enough changes in the rankings to show that this policy change made a difference, like jd said. Also, it has a two-fold effect on the members: 1) put up more reviews, so you stop being a "newbie" and 2) you can place more trust in your fellow reviewers.
I like the policy.

Great job, guys! This was a very creative way to keep the ratings from being trashed by "shills." I didn't think that there was anything to be done since we don't want to have the admins censor different reviews. But y'all have come up with a very ingenious way to limit their impact on PU. Keep up the good work.

With regard to Office 2007, the default file format is a new XML-based format. It is open to more compatibility with other "Office" software, like StarOffice. However, because all versions of Office before 2007 used a proprietary format, older versions of Office can't open Office 2007 files. (Office 2007 can open all older version files with no problem.)
Don't worry: you can save all Office 2007 files in a format compatible with older MS Office versions. (Save As... instead of Save) I've used this function a lot since I am sending files back and forth with people who are still using Office 2003 or even Office 2000, while I am using Office 2007 (on Vista).

I use open-source browsers and vid players. Therefore, when they release an update, I will usually download it. It's both a security issue (browsers) and a performance issue (vid players).

For me, it is always better to have exclusive content than not. However, I understand that can be difficult for a large website. My biggest issue with "exclusive content" is websites that advertise their videos as exclusive, but fail to deliver. Unfortunately, even TBP reviews don't always help in that case because they can only relay the website's claim, but not verify it.

While I prefer TBP's 4-person review style, I also visit Rabbit's Reviews because they tend to be shorter and to the point. Plus, they also have deals for cheaper website memberships.

My scoring criteria takes price into account. However, that is only one component. As I have said before, I think that the ultimate site would have great quality and a low price. Having said that, I don't really ease up on lower priced sites because I expect them to still meet certain quality and quantity standards.
From a porn viewer/fan perspective, I feel less ripped off if a site is of poor quality, but the price is low.

While I believe that CCBill is the best of the credit card transaction companies, I won't exclude sites that use other services, such as Paycom. However, before I join any site that is not CCBill, I make sure that I have a URL for their customer support page as well as clear instructions for how to cancel my subscription. If I am not comfortable, like if the support sites looks put together by a 4-year old, then I won't risk my credit card number.
A quick question: does anyone have experience using those 1-time credit card numbers from Mastercard or Visa? I've thought about using those for my subscriptions but I haven't tried it yet. Let me know what you think.

I'll spend an hour or two checking my memberships for any updates or looking at free TGP sites. If I just got a new membership, it could be significantly more.
