Funny, I did a month's subscription there recently (regrettably) but didn't notice the content aggregation thing. I guess I just didn't pay attention to where the content came from.
My issues with this site is that the images are not particularly good quality and you barely get to see each model in their nakedness; as soon as they're undressed, they are being banged by some dude, who never goes away. Waste of my time. This is strictly a hard core site.

Good review Skippy and it reflects many of the same issues that caused me to walk away from the original 21 Sextury several years ago. They were guilty of false promos back when they decided to split off 21Sextreme after guaranteeing then current subscribers would be grandfathered no change in our membership (we were not).
Quality of product was fine but their business practices totally suck.

I am also guilty of not commenting on reviews very much. I have a few questions if you are looking for feedback.
1) All HD is mentioned as a pro, but some older scenes are not in HD is in the comments section. Both statements cannot be true.
What level of HD quality are you referring to? 720 is far from 4k.
2) Saying the models are good looking tells me very little. Can you describe them more?
3) More fetish material is mentioned both as a pro and con. Please explain.
4) Lots of effort to get you to sign up for other sites. Whose effort? I think they try hard to get you to sign up not it is diificult to sign up.

I've been trying to avoid popular megasites for various reasons, but I think I need to give this one a shot. Question --- in reading other reviews about this site, I get the impression that at least some of the content is not exclusive, particularly the Russian scenes. Are you aware of that one way or the other? I'm so tired of seeing the same Russian anal scenes on site after site.
Not directly related, but... lk2fireone writes - I THINK MANY OF US START TO QUESTION HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE READING THESE REVIEWS, DUE TO A LACK OF RESPONSE/REPLIES TO THE REVIEWS.
I couldn't agree more. Personally, I'd love to get more critical feedback about my reviews so I can improve them. However, I'm just as guilty for not commenting, though I did so in the past.

I believe its for non subscribers to actually buy movies separately, I remember they used to give credits for subscribers and after your subscription ran out you could buy a video with your credits so yeah I think its that you are seeing, you should still be able to download it free if you are a subscriber.

I occasionally have to set the record straight when people say that I don't like breasts. I point out that I most definitely love breasts - I just prefer A and B cups. But, admittedly, on a scale of importance to me, breasts rank much lower than a nice bum.

I don't get this at all. I'm a huge fan of ALS Scan - have been for years - and - like you - the speculum, gynecological stuff is not appealing to me much at all, nor is the pissing stuff that Alex, the guy who runs the sites, is so excited by.
It's one of my favorite sites because of the models and his photography makes them look hotter than they do anywhere else. I've been a member only a few times of ALS Angels because there have only been a few models on this site that make me feel like I needed to join. Again, though, the photography of those models is absolutely outstanding - the best on the internet. Check out the Andie Valentino & August Ames material - so freaking hot!
I fail to see how anybody is being forced to look at photos that you don't want to look at. That's the great things with photos. You spend times with the photos that you want to spend time with. You never have to spend any time AT ALL with photos that don't interest you. It's pretty much the same with videos, for me. There's the pause button. There's the stop button. There's the button to close the video window when you want to stop watching.
The problem I have with lots of people with particular fetishes is that the material is subsumed by those fetishes. On the ALS sites, I don't find that to be at all the case. There's plenty to enjoy even if you are completely indifferent to the fetish elements that the guy who runs the sites finds to be the most exciting elements.

LOL! I think you discovered why our recollections of Scan and Angels is different. You thought the models at Angels were better looking and that's the opposite from what I thought - but you note that the Scan models were "really skinny, young, small breasted..." Yup... that explains why I preferred that site!

Many years ago when I first joined ALS Scan I was a bit uncomfortable with how they classed the models between ALS Scan and ALS Angels, with ALS Angels models 'unworthy' of the main site. maybe I'm the only member who noticed that though.
What I really miss is their Caribbean trips. I still watch those occasionally as they're a lot of fun to see. I suspect that with the porn market these days those kinds of shoots are far to expensive. They also had some European public nudity stuff that was great too. I wish they'd have more of those too!

Yeah, it's funny - as big a fan of the site as I am, I'm utterly uninterested in a lot of their "special" elements like the vag spreader, the hoop thing, etc. Perhaps Alex gets a lot of emails from fans craving that stuff, or perhaps they are his own fetish. This site is among my very favorite sites. Their tastes in models, petite, small breasted, shaved is very appealing to me and I've had very few periods in the last several years that I was NOT a member of this site.
There's not much random about which models appear on ALS Scan and which models appear on ALS Angels. It's not a matter of the models being better looking. For my tastes, most of the better looking models are on ALS Scan, which is why I've been a fairly consistent member her and only an occasional member of ALS Angels.
If a model has bigger breasts, is curvier, or taller, or more mature looking, she'll be on ALS Angels. There have been a few models where you could flip a coin as to which site they should post to, Sandy Waldron or Jessyka Swan, for instance, but for the most part, it's pretty clear which site a model will wind up.
In terms of the remastered sets, for me, they're an extra rather than taking anything away or making me feel deceived. There's so much new content being posted and such deep archives that I never feel that an update is being wasted by being used for a remastered set.
In terms of the lack of polishing of photos, this isn't a warts-and-all site, as ATK's sets often are. Alex has sometimes posted before-and-after pics and it's pretty clear that there is significant prettifying done to the photos posted here - not Twisty's level, thank heaven, but enough to show off the models to their best, which I appreciate.
Anyway, just some comments by someone that is a big fan of this site. Good review, overall.
