N/A REPLY TO #4 from Loki: (skippy's Reply)

I loved August Ames, and have many of her scenes, but since her suicide, I've had some hesitation watching her scenes. I won't erase them because I think she's gorgeous and talented and erotic, but I'm hoping some distance from her passing will let me enjoy the scenes as I used to.

It's kind of odd because I'm a big fan of black and white classic movies, and most of those stars are dead. I don't feel any hesitation watching those films. I think there's an important distinction though: Porn is a much more intimate form of entertainment than regular films. Watching Katherine Hepburn doesn't bother me, but sharing an intimate moment with August Ames does.

I admit, my vote was colored by this: I was thinking of suicides and August Ames came immediately to mind. Her early photo sessions and scenes are just too painful for me to watch.

August Ames being a case in point. Took her own life very young and lots of her videos are still readily--sometimes freely--available. I can't look at any of that.

I had forgotten about SuicideGirls for some reason. Maybe I used to occasionally see them on Tumblr, which I dropped. At any rate, you reminded me about them and I checked out their website. There's a tour of sorts that supposedly has 200 photos (I'm pretty sure I didn't see anywhere near that many). They are all very attractive girls and a lot of them aren't photographed with dense ink, but the thing is a few of them are staggeringly beautiful. I do love the usual glamour sites, but some of these models make MetArt models look just a bit shabby. Of course, I'm perfectly fine with tattoos in general and also a big fan of perfect, unadorned complexions. People who shudder at ink would do best never to check out SuicideGirls.

No. I just couldn't bear her shaven pubes. It was awkward.

I remember once that a communications professional describe Twitter as 'the angriest place on the planet.' I don't have a twitter account and while my wife created a FB account for me I've never been on it.

I think you're right. I could probably start my reviews with "Dear Skippy".

I can't speak for your specific case but regularly interacting with a specific cam model or a stripper is going down a slippery road that can and may lead to infidelity if not physical than certainly mental.
I have worked with women my entire life and for the vast majority of that time I have being both friendly and on some occasions a little flirtatious but these woman were my coworkers and not a means to sexual gratification. I don't think you can say the same about cam models and in many ways about strippers because the relationship is one where you are sexually stimulated by the interaction and will in all likelihood lead to you masturbating to these women. I don't think you do that with the women at your gym, at the pool or at work.

That said this is your life so whatever opinion I offered should be taken with a box of salt because I don't know you and therefore I can only offer my point of view.

I agree that watching porn isn't cheating per say because ultimately there is no relationship between the viewer and the performers but it's a very different thing if you are interacting with a cam model or in a private booth with a stripper because there is now an actual back and forth discussion between you and those women. I'm willing to bet that you return to those same cam models and strippers on a pretty regular basis which to me means that your relationship is even deeper than you may realise.

You don't necessarily have to have sex with another woman for it to be cheating because if you interact on a personal basis with a woman that isn't your wife, girlfriend or analyst than you are going down a very slippery road that could lead to an accident.

I agree with your "rant."

People shouldn't leave rude or denigrating comments about any scene. It coarsens the social fabric. I really hate seeing models being slammed on porn sites. I appreciate that these women are sharing their bodies and sexuality with us, and feel it is just wrong to slam them just because you don't like their pubes, piercings, or tattoos (three things that are often commented on).

Some sites provide useful info such as natural or enhanced breasts, location(s) of tattoos, etc., that I find useful in searching out ladies with whom I'm not acquainted.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't implying that cloud based companies have any rights to your data so much as they may simply access it for their own purposes and there is then very little you can do. Yes, if you find that they stole your data you can sue them but unless you are filthy rich, a huge corporation or some hot shot lawyer will take your case pro-bono than chances are you are screwed. In fact suing them will probably not mean that you aren't screwed anyway.

The best example was all those celebrities who had their personal data stolen and then posted to the net. Jennifer Lawrence can sue her cloud provider but it won't stop the millions of people who now have her naked pics and videos from looking at them or uploading them to the net over and over again.

Comcast has an internal metering system that you can run your box on to see what speeds you are running for both uploads and downloads. In addition, there is also a feature that shows how much usage you have used for the month. It runs from the 1st to the last day of the month and is cumulative. My plan has 1024gb for Internet usage per month.

I also have Comcrap. I was wondering if you knew for sure that they slow download speeds or are just guessing? I've also seen the same issue with slowing download speeds and just thought it was more on the websites end as opposed to the middleman.

skippy expressed my thoughts exactly. If a scene is much longer than 10 minutes and is just the same action I get bored.

Although in your case there is always the possibility that some of your favorite magazines were digitized and exist somewhere on the net.
VHS porn movies didn't necessarily get the same chance and sadly those that did simply don't look all that clean and crisp now.

Yeah, there's someone at MPL who does not take criticism very well. I've had an experience or two myself. It's still a great site. It's like eating at a restaurant that is as famous for its food as it is for the churlishness of the hospitality staff.
