I'm not sure of the date or even the year. I think it was sometime in the 1950s, but definitely by the 1960s.
The first "pornographic" images I saw were photos on the back of racy playing cards. They were topless models, definitely not frontal bottomless, but also had rear bottoms exposed (just the ass cheeks, not the vagina seen from the rear that is so common today).
Those weren't my playing cards. I'm not even sure whose cards they were.
Later I graduated to looking at my brother's Playboy magazines. Wow!
Many years later I got my own subscription to Playboy magazine.

A friend gave me a heads/tails coin in the late '60's, so if that qualifies, that was it. I hadn't even reached puberty by then, but looking at that coin probably helped me along.

LOL well guys there was not enough room so left it 20 years ( note the "somewhere" wording to suggest there about 20 years. Not an exact number like other entries so that is what could be used. Hence 1989 would be about 20 years ago, some somewhere would be that one. :-)

Same as otoh - it would have been in the 1980s when I saw a porno mag which had been abandoned in the garden of a house left empty next door - I went exploring and found it.
I was too young to find it exciting, but it certainly made me think. It was of women of course with no men in it - heaven knows what I'd have made of a gay porn mag!
The first time I saw any kind of gay porn was when I was 15, so in the 90s. I was on our last family vacation to Amsterdam and though we obviously avoided the red light district, they sell porno quite openly there in regular stores too so I saw mag with two men kissing on it - it blew my mind! Until then, I hadn't realised gay porn existed!
It made me determined to find some gay porno at home - this was pre-internet - but it took me a year before I found a place that stocked it. Until then I bought a few mens body-building mags which were nearly as good - I even bought some weights so my parents wouldn't be suspicious!
Oh, memories! I found some gay porno mags on sale in the city centre but they were about 2.5 times the price of the straight porn ones so I didn't have enough money and had to save up! When I did get my first gay porn mag it was mind-blowing - I still have it! It was published in 1995 I think. I hid it in the cavity underneath my bottom dresser drawer!

I am in my 20's so obviously in the past 20 years. I was around 10 when I first got my hands on Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler. I was 12 or 13 when I got my first porn movie. It was 80's porn, but it was actually pretty good.

Would have been late 70's when i was around 14 or 15 i found a discarded "Men Only" magazine in a bus shelter of the village where i grew up although prior to that i would sometimes catch a glimpse of the "page 3" model in my grandmother's "Sun" newspaper while pretending to be checking out the football news but that was only topless so don't really know if that would be described as pornographic.

I picked before 1980 only because there was no option for before 1990. I'm pretty sure the stuff I saw before 1980 would have been Playboy pictures so not really what I consider porn.

There have been changing definitions of pornography over time. Some material that is now considered extreme softcore was considered questionable before 1950. I happily looked at it in my early teens but true pornography, as it is defined now, didn't come my way until the fifties.

In mid 1960th - got the first magazines with nudes/semi nudes......WHAT an experience!!!
Kept on hunting down pix with nudes together with some friends - we were all in the teens - and WOW - what fun/delight/pleasure it was with those girly magazines.
They also had SOME real Scandinavian PORNOGRAPHY at that time - but it was somewhat weird and "unreal" due to bad stories/bad photoshoots ect......Then came the first "Swedish Erotica" - nothing Swedish about that, but entirely US-productions.........and since then, well - you all know the history...

What's pornographic?
The first thing that turned me on that was not a real girl's butt (those turned me on from about age seven) was a open-air billboard with the model lying prone emphasizing the curve of her butt.
I don't even remember what the billboard was advertising, just the deep sexual attraction to that image.

Definitely well before the 1950's.
Lost my visual virginity on the school ground, when at a tender age I got my first wide-eyed view of the softer gender (in the buff) photographed in all it's black-an-white splender.

I'm not sure if it was Coppertone. This model was in jeans lying prone and smiling out at you. It was taken at "ground level" so you saw her not from above but from the side with the female curve of the butt I will never forget.

Mine would have been in the late 80s. I vaguely remember my uncle having a Rubix Cube like object, but instead of colored squares it had female bodyparts. Once you got everything lined up, each side of the cube was of a fully nude woman. Not long after that, the same uncle had a subscription to Playboy and would give me his old issues.

I can't remember when I first saw babes in Esquire magazine (it had Vargas Girl cartoons and sexy ladies, but no bare nips I don't think). It was probably the early to mid fifties.
I saw the first "smoker" in 1964. ("Smoker" was the generic term for contraband grainy black & white 8 mm movie porn.) It featured some rather portly women giving some jokers a rather poorly done BJ and getting porked through totally wild bush. No pussy lips visible at all.)
