Don't have an account with Playboy Plus, although I wouldn't mind one. But I'm not going to pay $100 a year and then have to pay even more money on top of that to download images. Not to mention that they only have one update a day by the looks of it and, at least according to the review, only have around 30 images per set. Whereas, MetArt is $100 for the year, has free downloads, updates multiple times a day, and has more images in their galleries. It begs the question why even try Playboy Plus when MetArt is objectively better in every way?
I got an email advertising a lifetime membership to Playboy Plus for $99.99. Got the email a few hours ago.
I click on the email, and a page pops up offering me a lifetime membership to Playboy Plus for $149.95.
But I've also read that many memberships are streaming only.
If you want downloading privileges, you need to pay $10/month extra.
If you want to watch HD, I think that's included in the extra $10/month.
I joined the site a few years ago, and was disappointed in the quality of the photos. And it seemed the site didn't even have full sets of their former playmate centerfolds.
I didn't think the site was worth joining then.
And I doubt the site is worth joining now.
I replied to Ladylover below, but I didn't want this to get lost in the responses. The $99 lifetime membership is a sleazy cash grab. I just chatted with support on Playboy Plus and, yes, to get ANY useful features (like the ability to download ANYTHING and actual HD videos), you need VIP, which is another $10 a month. SO....$99 for a half-assed lifetime subscription of limited use and duration and ANOTHER $120 a year to be able to download anything or get HD. TOTALLY DECEPTIVE!!!!!
My comment below still holds. This site and many others by this site management group offer a standard or discounted price for membership that ONLY allows browsing and streaming. I've seen other sites from other companies that have a special streaming-only price, but to charge $10 a month more for the ability to download images is absurd. I recall a representative saying that "most of our customers prefer streaming and don't want to download" which, of course, is complete bullshit. This is a cash-grab bait and switch and I recommend that nobody sign up until this management company changes this stupid tactic or fails.
I was a long time member, but they have changed their pricing and a very coy about. You can get a membership for one price, but then need a "Premium" membership if you want to download at an additional price at $9.99 month. Nothing comes straight out to tell you this, but does ever so subtlety infer it by using "unlimited browsing".
When the combined standard monthly price is at $39.98, it is most definentley NOT worth the price for a dozen or 2 photos in the once a day update, or even for $19.98 if you buy it at a yearly rate.
Hey, guys, if you are going to include a price in your review, especially a discounted price, you REALLY need to explain that it is for streaming only. You SHOULD NOT quote a streaming only price, and then list "NO DOWNLOAD LIMIT" and go on to describe file formats in your review summary section. Either quote a full price that includes downloads, or OMIT THE INFORMATION THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE PRICING YOU GIVE! I have seen this for almost all of the reviews you have done for the MG Billing sites and that is A LOT of sites. This is the only site management group that has a bait-and-switch hidden tier. You sort of mention it in the body of the review, but the pricing and review details are contradictory. PLEASE START HIGHLIGHTING IT IN THE PRICING!
Like the commenter below, I was a former subscriber. They were most certainly not up front with their site's structure. I assumed that you could download all content, but you can't without upgrading.
They have you sign up, they throw a VIP subscription at you for $1 month (which is worthless, it just allows to change an avatar and organize your "collection"). You can't even so much as right-click and save a picture, though.
Then they to sell you "Premium VIP access" for an extra $9.99 a month. That access allows you to download zip files of images and videos.
I signed up for a full year membership thinking it would be the same as the old site, and they WILL NOT refund me unfortunately. So I'm stuck with a site I can just look at.
That being said, the customer service was VERY helpful and patient. I get the feeling they're getting loads of complaints.
I just discovered they have a new policy since the last time i was a member. The basic membership does not include downloads. For that you must pay an additional $9.99. You can do is stream videos and it is possible to download photos one-by-one, but no ZIPs and no video download.
The extra price isn't that bad, but they don't say anything about this limitation until after you join. I'm not at all happy with this. I may never join again.
A side note: According to their tech support there are some reliability issues with this site if you are using Safari on a Mac.
The same company also owns Twisty's. The customer service agent say this policy has been instituted for all web sites they own. I haven't Twistys in the past 6 months, but I will be careful about rejoining that site.
Just wanting to know if anyone knows if this is the main playboy site these days where I would find all the group women stuff, not specifically lesbian, just nude fashion style that I've seen around the web done by Playboy. I want to see more as some look really good, but I know Playboy used to have a few various sites and don't want to join and be disappointing.
I've never much took notice of this site for some reason until I checked it out the other day and thought it looked amazing, loads of woman fit as heck doing stuff naked which is what I love. I like lots of playboy photos I've seen and really nice to see some hot milfs so I joined.
Some of it is great but what I found that I just can't work out is most of the videos seem more like trailers. Everything is rushed and zoomed through. Take Camp Playboy, looked like a dream come true until I watched it, the girls would talk about things and it would show brief snaps of what they were getting upto and yet you never saw these events, like you were just watching the trailer, except these were the main vids. Loads of other shows done in the same way.
I find erotic movies work best slowly and showing he viewer the gorgeousness in a way they can actually see what is going on. I just found it weird to be honest.
I just joined this site and I intended to join on a monthly basis. What I didn't notice was that the default membership was an annual one. There was a flashy notice that I was getting a 50% discount by the monthly charge and I think that threw me off. Still, it's my error and I admit that.
I contacted the biller (MBI Probiller) and they won't help me. They say they can only change the membership if the error is due to fraud or theft and they can't do anything to fix my own mistake. I could see that being the case if I intended to have a monthly membership and asked for a refund three months later, but I was a member for 20 minutes and hadn't even accessed the site.
So I logged into the site and figured I could contact them directly but every 'contact' button links to MBI Probiller so that's obviously no use.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Holy Mackerel - why did I join this site - again? Oh, because those Playboy-dudes still have some of the best looking models - and normally I do not mind that softer material.
But the way they - now - do the videos get me close to a nervous breakdown.....fast, fast clips - like in a trailer....the moment you get a fine view of the model, they cut - fast, fast fast...and it goes on and on and on.
Guys: Slow down....."give the singer some" (quote Jim Morrison) - Lol.
Unlike other sites that offers easy cancellations through a billing processor or onsite with just 2 pieces of information, playboy.tv requires people to contact the billing processor through a toll free number, a live chat that doesn't work or email(which who knows when they will respond within the 2 day trial period).
On the plus side, I wasn't put on hold while calling the toll free number. Having to call a number to cancel is just bad practice.
In the members area Playboy Plus has separated the Playboy Girls galleries for an additional charge. If you un check the box and click on the link to get more information they automatically charge your credit card an additional 49.95 on top of your paid monthly subscription. You get no confirmation page or option to decline this fee. A day later you'll get an email stating they charged your card.
Easier to build a collection of playmates through newsgroup.
Even though many of the photos of playmates are available at this site, it's easier to build a collection of playmates through a newsgroup than it is through Playboy PLus.
The collection will also be more complete through a newsgroup.
The problem with a newsgroup is that you have to learn to use a newsreader, and pay for the newsgroup access, and a few other methods you will have to learn.
But for fans of past playmates, a newsgroup offers more complete files (in photos, not in videos), and an easier method of collecting and sorting your photos.
It's been many years since I belonged to a newsgroup, but Playboy Plus made me realize that poor site structure (and other problems with the site) makes newsgroup access a worthwhile alternative for collecting Playboy material.
But there is a lot to learn about how to use a newsgroup effectively.

I've been a member of Cyber Club on and off for about 10 years. Playboy Plus is the intended replacement for Cyber Club which still exists, but has not added content since Feb 2012. Playboy Plus is still under development. Some of the search features don't seem to work. When finished I think this will be an easier site to navigate than the Cyber Club. At this time the only download videos are MP4's. Some of them are 1080P HD, but many are lower resolution and lower resolution than what was on the Cyber Club site. They also have not yet moved the centerfolds to this site. Sets with multiple models do not name the models by photo. Some zips (1% ?) are damaged and won't unzip.

It ist no more possible to get a membership at Playboy Plus.
You are just redirected to Playboy's Cyberclub, which does _not_ include membership to Cybergirls (Playboy's All Naturals, Busty Babes, Fresh Faces, Student Bodies and Women Of Playboy).
But you get the special price from TBP ($14,95 or €13,95 in April 2010) when entering Cyberclub via the link for Playboyplus.
All Cybergirl sites don't include membership to Cyberclub, but to other Cybergirl sites.
When you want to keep membership at Cybergirls for more than one month you should get a monthly renewing membership at Cybergirls, which ist $14,95 (or €13,95 in Europe) if you start here at TBP. When cancelling at localbilling you are offered at the second step to keep membership at Cybergirls for only €4,95 per month (maybe it's the same for Cyberclub, answers are welcome).
Since I posted a comment about a miserable rip-off experience I had with a trial membership at Kat Young's website, I figured I ought to post about an excellent experience I had with a trial membership at PlayboyPlus.com. I've gotten trial memberships here a few times - a nice deal $2.95/5 days and you get to look at all the juicy stuff they have, save hot pics, watch their vids, etc.
Just now I called to cancel a trial membership that I had created a couple of days ago and asked about the difference between this site and the Cyberclub - the customer service rep set me up with a comp 3-week membership to the Cyberclub so I could see for myself - now that's classy!
