I think the issue here is not with the limit itself but with the fact you are blatantly lying to your customers about having them. In fact one of the first things I saw when visiting the site is the "Download all our DVD's now! No Limits!" claim which, thanks to this review and your response, we all know is total crap.
I can understand antares's frustration. I personally would not join a site that has limitations of any kind and would be absolutely livid to discover that a site I joined on its promise of having no download limits actually had them.
You want limits? Fine, then just remove the false promises.

If I see a model I like the looks of in one of the sites I am a member of I will sometimes use one of the listed sites to find more info and other scenes she has been in.
But when I am updating my scene database, I will uses most of the sources listed to find the "official" name of the model.

Over the years I have lost quite a bit :( In the early days through unreadable cd's, then unreadable dvd's. Then twice had the misfortune of cats knocking external hard drives off of tables. Now I store everything on internal drives in my media server adding new disks or replacing lower capacity ones when needed.

Pretty much exactly what I was about to say except I would add that the road to salvation cannot be travelled in one night. Bi-daily meetings with her and her porn star friends would be needed for me to truely "cleanse" her soul and give her the salvation she seeks.

Thanks for the info. You are right, finding models with the requisite freakishly large boobs could prove tough. I think I already have downloaded the archives of the sites I like and unfortunately those are the sites that don't update very often. Guess I will wait a few more months before rejoining

In a previous life I organized guided tours of brothels here in Prague and was often asked by clients to sort out some escort action for them.
Never in the 100+ times that I did that did the girl turn up with a bodyguard. In most cases they would arrive with a driver who would handle the cash but he would never accompany the girl to the clients hotel room.

Bad form indeed. Had a similar thing with 21sextury, logged in from work and home within the space of a few hours and they blocked my account. Instantly received a email with a new random password and could log in again. Brazzers should do the same

The local pub near where I used to work was run by a gay couple and although it was not officially a gay bar as such, most of the normal patrons were gay. I used to go there quite a lot with friends from work for a lunchtime or after work drink. On many occasions both there and in "normal" clubs I have been approached by guys. As I am completely comfortable with my (hetro) sexuality I treat them no differently than the women who approach me that I am not attracted to, politely say I'm not interested but maybe have a quick chat. I certainly wouldn't up and leave a place because of it, Im not afraid that I will turn gay just by being around gay people :)

I guess it all depends on your definition of pornstar. For me the name pornstar should only be applied to the select few who have made their mark on the industry and are almost household names.
I dont call every person that has ever fucked or been fucked on camera a pornstar and neither do I particularly like the girls I would, by my own definition, call pornstars; I prefer fresh faced newcommers :) So enough or not enough pornstars, I dont really care.

I'm running the NoScript addon in Firefox so a site cannot resize my browser or perform any other javascript trickery without me giving it permission. But yes it does annoy me which is a good reason to use NoScript :)

Although your 30$ gets you access to firstanalquest.com as well, there are much bigger networks featuring many of the same models for lower price.
Only 25 videos but they do come with matching photo sets
Photos are quite low res at 1024 x 682 but mysteriously are quite large file sizes (~300KB)
No choice of quality, 720P is all you get. For me personally this is not a con, as I always go for the highest video quality but I know a lot of people have limited bandwidth.
To get the gimmick of the site, twice as much video data needs to be downloaded, one wmv file for each of the camera angles which are usually about 800 MB each.
Very slow download speeds. Using a download manager I can get about 500kbps when downloading multiple files. Using their player program it took almost 15 mins to download 20 MB.
Very, very similar content style and models available on many other sites.
The software required to watch the multiple angles is very basic and does not want to work half the time. |

As the name of the site suggests, the idea behind DoubleViewCastings.com is to give you multiple viewing angles (well 2) of the same scene and allow you to switch between them at will.
This is possible by downloading and installing the special player software from the website. How this all works is very basic, as is their player software. From the player it is possible to browse the updates available and upon clicking "play" the scene will be downloaded to your PC. As the download speed is downright awful, you could be waiting a while before the video actually plays, never thought I would say it but streaming would have seemed like a better choice.
Once the video has downloaded and starts to play, you can switch between the viewing angles by pressing F1 and F2. Essentially all this is doing is playing one wmv, when you press the button to switch opens the 2nd wmv and seeks to the same position.
I would have much preferred it if they would have used a standard video container format that supports multiple video streams, for example MKV, which would have allowed me to use the player of my choice. That would have also reduced the download size by a little as the same audio stream could have been shared between the 2 video streams. However the video files you download either via the website or from the software are standard wmv files which can be played in your usual media player but obviously the ability to switch angles is lost.
Also the "DoublePlayer" does not want to work half the time. Sometimes scenes that I have already downloaded wont start to play and other times it will play with sound only and no video
As the download speed using the provided player is so god awful, I would recommend downloading the wmv's from the main site and then putting them in the correct place.
On Windows Vista, the player downloads and expects to find its videos in:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\DoublePlayer\downloads\MODELNAME\videos
Just download the 2 wmv's, rename them to zzint1.wmv and zzint2.wmv and put them in a folder matching the models name. If you start up the player in offline mode, it will find the videos and allow you to play them.
While the content is not really anything new and different, it was quite novel to be able to have a small amount of interactivity with the scene. If you like this style of content it is worth joining. If not, the gimmick won't change your mind. |
