The best era IMO was mid 80's to early 90's. Best studio at the time was VIVID and a couple of my all time favorite stars Kobi Tai and Asia Carrera were tearing it up. A lot of others that would take to long to list. Best movies not just gonzo random scenes.

Like Rearadmiral I too am a collector. I have over a dozen external drives (4 & 6 TB in size) and with my preferred HD & 4K choice That really fills up quickly. With file sizes up to and over 7TB a download limit is hit fairly quickly so I generally avoid sites with imposed limits unless something specifically catches my attention. I already pay an extra $50 a month with my ISP for unlimited data. What pisses me off is when you join a site for full price and SURPRISE!! STREAM ONLY UNLESS YOU "UPGRADE" MEMBERSHIP!! MOFOS and a couple others burned me that way because they don't sat that at sign-up

I hate when they go and get fucking plunger looking lips and fake ass tits bigger than their own head. It's not sexy to me, to me it looks absolutely ridiculous. I will continue to watch their back catalog from before surgery though. Doesn't matter to me if they pass away, like Anna Maul or Kristy Lynn. And why would you stop watching their stuff if they quit/get married? That makes no sense what so ever.

Some of the older 4K videos won't play on my TV and play really bad on my pc, the video stutters and pixelates really bad. the newest ones maybe 2160 in size but are most defiantly NOT 4k. they lack the sharpness and clarity of the older vids. Surprisingly, it differs update to update, sometimes the video is absolutely pristine the next just a resized video. Sadly this network is looking like they are starting to just cruse on their own popularity. I hate the fact that they charge for all their sites separately instead of one network price. You can "upgrade" after you sign up for $70 but that is crazy high.

Before I start this review I would like to state that in my opinion Vivid was the absolute best company in the 80's & 90's. Their production and their stars were top notch. Having sad that, Wow this site is in serious need of overhauling! Members area is completely filled with ads and upsales making the content entirely secondary. navigation is a train wreak, if you know your star or name of scene then you can enter it and search that way. But if your just browsing it is really frustrating, if your looking through stars by name then you have to start at A and work your way through but if you click on one to see her stuff then back click then your back at the beginning. same with a stars scenes, scroll through her pages the click on something and back click your back on page one. And now my biggest complaint, ALOT of the classic stuff has been removed. I joined this site a few years ago when you couldn't download. So after I found out that they offer downloads I jumped at the chance to join again. I am severely disappointed in this site now. About half the classic content has been removed. As a fluke last time I was able to save the streaming video so I have a accurate count. Kobe Tai had 53 scenes, now has 25. Asia Carrera had 62, now has 21. Lola had 42, Now has 21. Etc. So Classic Vivid fans beware! Also, there are not to many of todays stars on here, Like Dillion Harper, Veronica Rodriquez, Elsa Jean and so on. I wouldn't join this site again unless the classic content was reposted. |

I have seen videos that have been re-uploaded/re-encoded from the same dvd and they are night & day in quality. I've ripped a couple of their dvds into my pc and just that simple process produces a vastly superior video. So if I can do it why can't they?

Site offers really dated content. Videos are low grade WMV 320X240 with some 640X480. MP4 are still split into 2-5 parts. Average file size between 175-300MB. Just to give an idea of how small the videos are, I have downloaded the complete sites of Hardcorefuckingmachines.com (48 videos, 12.4GB) & Overstuffedholes.com (79 videos, 28.9GB) Videos are beyond grainy. Site is "updating" still but just recycling content, nothing new. Some pictures but no zip downloads. |

I love JM Productions dvds and was really looking forward to joining this site. I was just stunned at the very low quality of the site being that it is still an active studio. If they Insist on recycling their content they could at the very least re-upload better quality versions. So bottom line, I just got burned for $30 for this Site. Save your $$$ and just buy the dam dvds. |

What rearadmiral said plus better tours of the site. I hate sites that have the splash page only and any click goes to the sign up page. I like to be able to browse the content before paying for access. Been burned to many times for reasons like no updates in years or very poor quality videos and limited selection. Thank GOD I found this site for up to date reviews.
