Bloody hell, what a passive bunch of choices! What about capturing all the government representatives and denying them access to their prostitutes and interns until they repeal the law? I bet they wouldn't even last 48 hours.

I feel like I'm letting down my fellow Porn Users if I don't provide a reasonable explanation for my rating. I have a series of standards I feel each of my reviews should meet - in fact, I have a little Porn Users Cheat Sheet I made up to make sure I cover all of the essential topics before posting the review. That and I compose the reviews in Word so that they have some modicum grammatical accuracy and a minimum of misspelled words. Though Firefox's spell check has saved me lots of time in replies though. Had to teach it "cumshot" though. Go figure.
Anyway - I definitely haven't reviewed as many sites as I theoretically could have if I were a bit less anal about my reviews or even was willing to do straight ratings. I just want each review to be something I'm reasonably proud of. So what it takes about 2 hours to do a review? I really shouldn't be subscribing to so many sites that it occupies too much of my free time reviewing them.

I gotta say the performance model makes for one plan I always wanted to try. If you sign up and become an affiliate of whatever site you were planning on joining, you could get back most of your money. However, I'm too lazy and have never done it.

There's nothing really wrong with fisting, as long as your careful not to damage anything. There is always the hand-cramping issue, but you just gotta wait it out if that happens.

Not really much of an issue - I've actually willingly deleted my porn collection because I needed a hard drive in the past. My current collection is probably iteration number 10 or something near there. One way or another my porn collection rarely lasts more than 2 years. A couple of months ago a drive failure toasted about 250GB, I've already got 200GB of porn to replace it.
I don't think I'd ever keep multi-terabytes of porn - I'd never remember to look at it. Honestly, if I had boat loads of money, I'd just subscribe all the time to all of the sites I even remotely like and then invest is a beefy ISP so I can download whatever catches my fancy at that moment. Plus I often get a bit bored by older content. My collection exists simply because I'm not rich enough to not have one.

Well I've had a few sites in the section, and now I just popped a few users in to see what happens... I really don't quite see the value of the section that much. All it does is list sites I like, which I know I like because well, I like them. It also lists users whose reviews I like - but it doesn't list their reviews.
Certainly I could click on each one and see if they've posted anything new, but I think it would be much more useful if it listed say the latest 10 reviews from the combined group. Not 10 from each, more like if you made a list of all the reviews by those users, sorted them by date, and then showed the first 10. Then it would give me the option of going back farther and farther in the list. That would be quite useful. As it is now, meh - I doubt I'll use it much.

This is definitely one of those situation specific things - if they, the content producers, are aiming for the cute school girl look with the pig tails and the works, nothing seals the deal better than a cute spinner in braces. Much like other body modifications like tattoos or piercings, it can make already hot girls that much hotter. Generally I would prefer girls not to have braces, but since it is rather, it is often a treat when you seen a beautiful model with them.
And yes, as Drooler pointed out, I too will assuming that the poll is referring to dental braces. Forest Gump is just not hot.

While on a purely academic level I'm certain this is an interesting query: However I fail to understand what this has to do with porn. Be it viewing it, acquiring it, storing it or what have you. Perhaps if you are making it...
I suppose it might apply to Tantric Sex - but usually that doesn't make for interesting porn - it is really designed more for the participants.

While I honestly didn't expect anyone to basically say what you did, you bring up an important strength of Porn Users as a resource on a whole. There are so many reviewers, with so many tastes and interests, that there are reviews, even if they are real quick ones, for lots of very tiny niche sites. Sites that aren't worth the time of the big review sites yet, but here someone pops in and gives you a glimpse at what you are getting - and that can really save you from wasting 30 bucks.
Basically, the point is, that while some reviewers take quite awhile preparing the review (my average review writing time is 1.5 hours, not counting the "research" time spent prior on the site) and others just write up a quick opinion style overview - any review is better than no reviews, even if it is as simple as: "Rubbish, only 10 videos."

Bloody hell, why would I post them if I was just going for average - or ::gasp:: below? I therefore foresee this poll being horribly skewed toward the top bit.
Certainly each review is a learning process and I think one improves a little each time, measurable or not - still, it's just not real likely that we are going to judge our selves in an outwardly negative light - well, do so and be public about it. I guess maybe some of those blokes that never post a reply might, but even then - do people really, knowingly post rubbish reviews?

I would just for the amusing idea of having a supply of porn on my person at all times, however I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to import any video, let alone porn. BitPim has been great for ringtones, but it crashes everytime it try to upload video. (Got an LG Chocolate VX8550.) Oh well, maybe in the future.

I have never really hid my interest in porn or my participation in this site. In fact I quite enjoyed telling people last x-mas: "Porn paid for Christmas this year!" Then of course I had to explain a bit, but it still amused me. None-the-less, I'm picky about t-shirts and so the design definitely would have to be quite nifty if I were to wear it about. A real good example of simple, site specific t-shirt designs are the ones made for Newgrounds. You can check out their shirts here:
http://www.newgrounds.com/store/
I'd probably wear any of those shirts excluding the basic logo shirts.
Maybe if the front of the shirt was the giant phallic pencil and then on the back simply had the text: "Porn reviews by the people." That would be pretty cool and would definitely start some interesting conversations. Beyond that, cool graphical designs that simply had some connection to the site or perhaps so sort of sponsorship parody shirt with a billion different porn sites and their logos - that might be good for a laugh.
Anyway, I'm open to the idea for sure, but most of the shirts would have to be pretty PG and leave a good bit of mystery to make it fun to explain.

For me this is a null question as any person with at least moderate common-sense will know not to browse porn sites at work with the volume knob at 10. Frankly you never know when you'll stumble across a pop-up with groaning farm animals and midgets slapping large women with marinated hams (for example). So if the videos autoplay - that really isn't a problem, unless your computer is rubbish and slows everything down, but then who's fault is that?
What I would say though - is I rather love Flash based video previews, they are fast, easy for the computer to handle (even running multiple videos simultaneously) and most of them offer full screen these days as well. I must say that Flash has really come into its own in the past few years and frankly has become quite a dominate force in streaming video. It has even trumped the mighty Windows Media Player - it loads faster, it can look just as good (assuming you are watching videos that don't require your own personal T3 line) and it will even let you skip to whatever part of the video you are interested in and begin buffering there - it's brilliant!

Indeed that is what I said: Being that the free stuff wasn't worth the time required to find anything of interest and I couldn't afford what I would be interested in, I didn't partake in porn for that period.

I took a year hiatus from porn for funding reasons - the so called "free" porn is just too much bloody work to find anything of interest and at the time I couldn't justify the monthly fees, so I basically didn't watch porn for that time period. Once the funds started returning, so did the porn.

I'm happy to see this poll is sparking lots of commentary and still hoping to see someone choose "Oh yes! All of it!" - the stimulus package is such a silly idea. $300 or $600, dependent on if you are single or married, is just a measly sum. I certainly believe there are only a limited number of places the money is going to go; and fancy electronics or propane grills aren't any of those places. Some people will pay bills, some people will save it and most people will blow it on the same ol' crap they always spend money on: burgers, beer and cigarettes.
I wish I could say I was going to drop $300 into porn just because it would be wildly amusing for me that my money would be sent to some Eastern European or South American porn studio rather than pumping back into the U.S. economy as the idiot political backers want. What stemmed this of course was that I had just received a notice that I was for-the-love-of-god-not-to-throw-away-because-it-tells-you-vastly-important-information-about-the-economic-stimulus-payment!! It's important message for me? Do nothing. Payment should come sometime in May. I'm floored. My life would be in tatters had I not read that notice.
So to the question at hand - will I be spending the money on porn? Sadly no - it'll be running off to bills I'm sure. Do I think it is a good idea? No. Will I take the money? Yes - they take too much of my money anyway - fighting wars for petrol and such... Am I doing my best to not use too much petrol? Well... I do have a little electronic gauge in my car that tells me how much I'm using - but I'm still running a V6 just to get to work... Yeah, still an American - oh well, maybe I'll get that British sports car I fancy and waste a little less gasoline in the future. It only costs 30 grand... yeesh. All hail porn! (For it only costs 30 buckazoids.)

While granted I think eye contact (with either the other model or the camera) is more appealing than closed eyes - I think a proper facial is still quite good as long as the model opens her eyes after the treatment. Keeping the eyes closed even after the fact moves it from being sexy to being comical quite quickly. And while I'm all for a bit of comedy now and again - I find it isn't usually the goal of the content producers.

Haha - well I just assumed everybody would know that the addition of another hard drive would be to house more porn. Plus with all the HD Porn sites out now - upgrading my display technology to HD would benefit that as well. On the surface - indeed the response wasn't porn related, but I think there was an understood subtext :-P

My primary rig was built in August of '06. My secondary rig (which is operable but not in use right at the moment) is a mix of parts - one of the hard drives dates back to 2001 - the cpu, mobo, memory, psu, other hdd drive and the optical drives from 2002 and the case, video card, and liquid cooling components are all from 2005.
I'll probably be replacing the psu and case of the current rig soon and add a blu-ray drive and another hard drive.

It is so much better than the term "Whore Brand", which just seems mean to me. I only recently ran across the term "Tramp Stamp" myself (maybe a year ago at most); indeed it does have a bit of a British charm to it and as some of my writing I'm sure reflects, I'm quite fond of British colloquialisms. I'm currently working through the latest iteration of Top Gear (40GB worth of it) and have run across a boat-load of new phrases and terms that I hadn't heard before. That is such a fun show - I can't wait till Season 11 comes out - though I still have a backlog of 7 seasons to finish watching first...

Oops - I missed the little defending himself part - that makes for a different point indeed, lol. But rather than counterpointing it with the killing of a million people for no reason, what about killing a million during war defending your country? (Say a somewhat understandable war like WWII) The question is always how much violence is justifiable.
A rather interesting movie called "The Fog of War", which came out a few years ago, interview the former U.S. Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara. On of the really fascinating things he showed was how lucid people can be about the atrocities they are committing. He and Colonel Curtis LeMay engineered the fire bombings of Japan during World War II - and it was incredibly effective because much of Japan was still using the wood and paper style build technology back then. Of course the fires killed indiscriminately, men, women and children - and of this Colonel LeMay said that if the U.S. lost, he and McNamara and others would be tried as war criminals. As McNamara then said: "...what makes it immoral if you lose and not immoral if you win?"

Well now that's the funny thing isn't it? Frankly most "Monster" Serial Killers never break out of the 20's. Sure it is an individual performing this terrible acts against other individuals on a personal one-on-one basis, but really - compared to the great Generals of times past, they really are barely scratching the surface! Yet these are the people that the horror movies are made about. I think it is a matter of the blinding nature of larger numbers. You tell me: "It was ghastly, he killed 23 people." Well I know more than 23 people. I can easily think of 23 people and think of the tragedy of those 23 people getting murdered. Consequently I can make a connection with the crime and understand the horror of it.
However, if you turn around and say to me: "Ghengis Khan's army of horse riders killed 1 million people in one night." (A true fact that is.) I simply can't visualize that. I resort to cute little clips from Independence Day and the like - and the fact of the matter is Ghengis Khan never blew up the White House with a laser. So we resort to comparing it with things we do understand and here is the line of reasoning that follows: "A serial killer who killed 23 of my neighbors is quite horrible. 1 million people is frankly quite a lot more than 23. So Ghengis Khan on his laser-equipped steed is by similarity also quite horrible." Done and done.
Thus, as per your example - A man who killed a million is equally as bad as a man who killed 5. Or as a man who banged his neighbor's dog. Cause bestiality just tends to be frowned upon in the traditional communities.
Cheers.
