I packed two external hard drives (not "portables") in my checked luggage on a long business trip. One had business stuff and the other had my porn stash.
When I arrived at my destination, all worked perfectly, but when I got home, the drive with the porn stash was not recognized by my 'puter. The shop i use for repairs told me that it was likely that the drive was dislodged as a result of rough handling and that it had a 50/50 chance of being recoverable. Paid $55 for him to rescue it. He couldn't.
Since I did not have an inventory of what was in the stash, I lost everything and had no idea how to find what was lost.
But I learned two lessons.
1. Never pack an external hard drive in my luggage unless I have a complete back-ip.
2. Keep a better record of the content of each drive and the sources of the material (I now use a freeware program, "Karen's Directory Printer," to inventory each drive.)

Good poll.
I tend to DL first, view later. (I'm a video fan.) After I view the video it goes if I am not a big fan of the pornwhore in the video and if there's nothing remarkable about the scene.
However I'm a packrat, not a when in doubt, throw it out type. that means I hang on to a lot of stuff that really should be poofed into cyberspace.
That said, I've deleted a fair amount, especially when one of my 5 external hard drives starts getting too full.
The real question is, what about all the videotapes I accumulated in the 90's and early 2000's? (I'll propose a new poll for that.)

I agree.
The eBay method lets me know the quality of the buyer/seller over time as well as over the last 12 months. A person who had some rough stuff at the start but has improved a lot in the recent past can be measured differently than an outstanding buyer/seller over history who has either been very quiet lately or has recently slipped a bit in eBay's ratings.
On PU, I would like both; a score since joining and a score for the last, say, 12 months or 2 years. That way a newer member can be recognized for his current contributions and the old timers can be recognized for their longevity.
As for badges, if it isn't broken, why fix it?
As for the weekly draw, same thing. Stay with what seems to work well.

Great question. I currently have at least one of each of the first four, but no "Date" sites.
So if the question were flipped, I would say the Date sites are my least favorite, and the other four are tied for my favorites.

"Stupid?" Not really.
When I log on to a porn site, my objective is to get it off watching gorgeous babes engaged in activities that I enjoy.
I will try a game on rare occasions but when I see Gianna Michael's fabulous orbs next to a game, for some strange reason I check out the fabulous Ms. Michaels and quickly forget the game.
But I can see how others might enjoy playing a game or two, so to call them "stupid" isn't right.
My answer is No. Period. Therefore I did not vote because that option was not offered.

I'm on at least once every day and will jump in more frequently when I'm on hold on the phone (happens frequently) or when a site I've already joined changes, comes up with a new deal or a new babe pops up that can be found on a site I don't belong to.
Compared to other porn review sites this one is far and away the best because it has a lively and active membership that is genuinely interested in sharing all experiences on porn sites, good as well as bad. There's no other site that even comes close.
My view is that Porn Users is essentially the Consumers Reports for the pay porn site user community where one can get real, accurate and timely information, not to mention, occasional great deals.

Frankly, since the beginning of true explicit porn, the idea is the fantasy aspect. The original cum shots were usually a quick pull out when the guy was about to ejaculate to demonstrate that the sex was real and it helped make the scene more of a fantasy fulfillment for the viewer.

That's why I deal only with sites that use CCBill and Epoch because the site owners are not given any credit card details.
If you don't want to renew a membership all you need to do is go online with ccbill.com or epoch.com and tell them to cancel. Your losses are thus limited to what was already processed.
If a site uses another billing/payment service or does it themselves, you proceed at your own risk.

Accuracy: My main (only?) beef with VideoBox is the inaccuracy of the search function caused by sloppiness and carelessness in identifying the models correctly or in misspelled names, When a sit has 6,000+ DVD's accuracy is critical to locating material by model name.
Accuracy and coverage: My main beef with Bank Brothers is that the search function (an overstatement is that they even have one) sucks big time. A large percentage of models are identified as "ehhh, I forgot." Many others are just first names. And the search result usually includes several totally unrelated hits. I'm canceling BB for that reason because there are so many other sites with great content and that provide much better search capabilities.
Coverage: FTV Girls is a high quality site but it has, essentially, no search function at all and is on my "next to go" list for that reason.
High scores to Twistys, SexyBabes.tv, Adult.com and to Naughty America for having superb search functions.
I suggested this poll because I was curious how others felt about this. If a search function is rated lousy in a review I usually move on without signing up, but if a good search function is operating on the preview site that I like and that has a good review, I'm likely to sign up.

Had to think hard and long (no, not my willy, my gray matter). I love the natural beauty and absence of body art with Euromodels and the variety and outrageousness of our Chatsworth California producers.
I concluded, with some angst, that I had to go with the Euros because of their babes and because they have the basics (lighting, camera angles, focus on body parts) down pat. Give 'em time and we may see better variety from them shortly.
But everytime I see a US model with tats covering half her body, I need to move on. The beauty of a gorgeous babe's body is enhanced by natural and unblemished skin, not by some silly tattoo artist's work.

That would be the opposite of me. I'm just under 83 even though I gave scores of 51 and 50 to some abysmally lousy sites. If I had the energy I would go back and audit the calculation but I'm too busy reading reviews and watching videos that feature copulation (and other associated activities such as fellatio and cunnilingus) between consenting adults.

Don't know. It depends on the item and the message.
I refuse to wear anything with blatant logos like LaCoste or Nike unless I get it free. Why should I advertise the brand of something that cost big bucks in the first place?
On the other hand, I have no problem with coffee mugs and similar stuff if it's tasteful. (My favorite mug these days is "I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Shit.") That's tasteful, isn't it? :-)

The setting is always important in any video creation but is especially so in the production values required for porn, where the lighting and camera angles must never be affected by the nature of the setting.
That said, I get turned off when I see the same old couch with the same old sheet or blanket (that's probably crackling with dried up cum) used over and over...or that unfurnished house for sale in Chatsworth that they hired for the shoot that day.
A well thought out setting like a working fireplace or a poolside encounter can add a lot to the scene.

It's tough to determine from a preview site and PU/TBP reviews frequently do not mention bit rates so if that were a really important factor in signing up, I would not be a mamber of many sites.
However, IF sites would promise a good bit rate and/or if PU/TBP reviews included that stat in the future it would be a very worthwhile addition.

As others have said, I had several very bad experiences until I joined PU 2 years ago. Since then I've only had two bad experiences, both were when I signed up despite there being no reviews on PU.
Lesson clearly learned. If it ain't on PU/TBP, I ain't signing up no matter how great the site looks.

A TGP Site is a "Thumbnail Gallery Post" site that contains a bunch of free pics and/or video clips with links to the sponsoring sites. Some can be reasonably good (KindGirls.com and asktiava.com are two that I like) but most are lousy and can be unintentional sources of malware.

I have a few that I check frequently just to see if there are any new babes or sites that I haven't discovered, but as Wittyguy says, the TGP sites are really of limited value. That's the only reason I chose the first option.

NO. $30 is my max. Period. And a $30 site must have outstanding reviews for me to bite. But I will never pay #35 a month for any site. If they are stupid enough to overcharge for their site, I'll let them wait until they wake up and figure out that a $30 price will make them a whole helluva lot richer than a $35 price.

If a combined rating is less than 70/70 and the last review is no more than 12 month old, the site is DOA for me. There are way too many 70+ sites at reasonable prices that I want to explore.
The higher the combined score the lower my price resistance but I still stop at $30 max per month. So a 90+ point site that wants $35 of my hard earned money, they won't see it.
Case in point, DDFBusty has a combined score of 91.6(5)/86.9 and has a knockout preview site, but at $34.95 it's overpriced by definition. The minute it drops to $29.95, I'm there.

It depends on the size of the site.
On some single model sites it doesn't take too long to totally drain everything. On others I would need a bunch of 2Tb external drives and a lot of 24/7 effort to download everything.
On the smaller sites I will sign up, then do a total drain, then cancel. If the site is still active and posts updates I'll keep an eye on it and grab whatever is posted before the membership is expired.
My objective is to have a good collection of hot babes so when the Federal government steps in in the next year or so with censorship and/or taxes I'll have a good supply to keep me happy.
