{RECOMMENDATION} The new version (ver. 9.4) of the VLC alternative to WMP offers a neat snapshot feature that is instantaneous so anyone can make photos from a video that are as good in quality as the video itself.
VLC is free at VideoLAN. It's got some great features like the snapshots, a fast aspect ratio correction, and a better operating console. The one negative is that, unlike WMP, you cannot adjust color and/or contrast.

I agree with pat362. The raffle is a bonus, not the objective. If it's handled fairly, then there should be no "affirmative action" added to the process.
This site has made me and, no doubt many others, more money through the great reviews by people like me that steer me away from sites that are not up to their hype.
To save a few bucks, yesterday I tried to cancel two sites that I'm not that hot about. Surprise. Both came back with "stick around" offers that were good. I accepted one (a $29.95 site that offered a $19.95 price) and declined the other one. The second one came back with an even lower price (a $29.95 site that came in with a last offer at $5.95) so I OK'd that one too. In other words, I dropped a monthly $59.90 down to $24.90, a $35 save, and still have access to everything.
Bottom line, it could well be that porn budgets can all be tightened without losing any memberships just by trying to cancel a full price site. After all, if they accept the cancel without any deals, you can sign up later if you want and it costs nothing extra.
I'm thinking the opposite. If the boss is a female, any substantive answer will probably be converted into a sexual harrasment discharge or worse. The only safe answer is "No Comment."
I'd ignore the question and, if pressed, I'd ask him why he is interested. (Why is it his business whether I watch porn or have cheese on my hamburger?)

D/L ability is the key option for me however. I will never knowingly sign up for any site that does not permit easy and DRM free downloads. That's binary. I stop looking when I see a download issue.

12 hours is plenty. These guys are rolling in huge amounts of money and should be able to respond within 12 hours or faster.

What really pisses me off is getting no reply whatever until a week or more later where the webmaster is now asking if I still have the problem.
What pisses me off more is where the reply bears no relation at all to the reported problem. Recently I had an access problem with a site I just signed up for and emailed the webmaster. The or four days later I got a reply that said, "If you wish to cancel, you must do so at least 24 hours before your membership expires." I was able to get the problem resolved via CCBill (of all things) but not from the site.
Pros of on line only/cons of hard DVD
1. No ads at the front end and back end.
2. Ability to easily edit out the garbage porti0on of the scenes.
3. Easy cyber storage and organization.
4. Privacy.
5. On Line less expemsive by far.
6. Easy and no cost rejection of lousy material,
Cons of on line only/pros of hard DVD only
1. No access to new talent or to proven talent with new material that can be obtained only on "hard" DVD.
2. Potential for hard drive crash or malfunction wiping out all or some of a collection.
3. Access to extra material such as interviews and bloopers on Hard DVD.
Bottom line, the incredible amount of money being made by on line sites will improve the quality and timeliness of new material without interrupting the cash flow to the producers. Contrary to the worries of the "legit" film industry, porn, once again, is leading the pack at developing this huge new revenue source while reducing the promotional and delivery costs to the producers.
It's my experience that, when a site slows down or stops updating, it's in a shut down mode.
I would first discuss it on Porn Users to see if there was an announcement or something that I missed. If that yields no information I would email the webmaster, but would not hold much hope for a meaningful response.
As a result, I would probably accept it and cancel my membership a day or two before the renewal date.
Three cases, one with a good outcome and two with a lousy outcome.
Case 1 (Good outcome) Sexy-Babes.tv - They stopped updating all of their sites with no notice at all. I wrote an email to the webmaster and posted to the site's forum with no response. Two days later I posted a question on Porn Users that was read by the webmaster who replied that they had a serious server problem and were working on it. He apologized for failing to think about the members who had no idea why there were no update and posted a notice on the site.
Cases 2 and 3 (bad outcomes) - AngelicaCostello.com (Venus Knight's website) and VictoriaPink.com. In Venus's case, although the public site promised frequent updates there were none, and hardly any content on Venus. In Victoria Pink's case, I renewed for a month hoping that their promise of frequent updates and sent emails to the site that were unanswered. The site remains but has not been updated in years...except that the price has increased from $9.95 to $24.95.
My basic strategy before I found P. U. last year was to sign up for a site's trial with low expectations then cancel. Now I will never sign up for any site without reading all of the reviews on P. U. and The Best Porn.
As for communications with a site's webmaster, in the (very) few cases where I get a reply, it's usually a useful one but occasionally the webmaster is nonresponsive.

My understanding is that "non-exclusive" means the content on a site can be found on other sites.
To me if I want to check out stuff with, say, Shay Laren featured, if I go to a site like Video Box, I'll know in advance that whatever they may have could be found on another site.
