Renewing to DDF sites, never for me again. I've been a recurring member for a few years now but since the interface upgrade everything went downhill. The last week or so downloading videos just doesn't WORK speed drops after a few seconds and then come to complete stop (downloading a view kB/sec, timeouts, video-downloads don't start ...) downloading zips however works. Reported it to the support staff but NOTHING only getting answers like we are sorry ....
Anyway took a membership to the 21sextury network and thats a network i would recommend downloads are lighting fast.
At this time the DDF sites are NOT Worth the money.

1 by day is still much slower than other sites on the DDF network and still only allows 1 file at a time downloads, which doesn't happen either on the other sites.

Great news that you're trying to fix it. That really would be a great example of web admins listening to their userbase - very impressed.
Don't suppose there's anyway of having the rolback server back until you'vegot a fix is there?!?!?

The use of the download manager isn't really the problem. The issue is with being able to schedule downloads. FDM still works fine to multithread download and resume from 1byday.
I (like many I suspect) are limited by our ISP's to certain download limits. My ISP lifts those limits between midnight and 8am. If I was always awake at these times there'd be no problem. I've used managers to schedule downloads to get around this issue.
The use of session timeouts and more importantly the web form requiring a physical presence at a PC breaks the scheduled downloads.
I've spent the day looking at various download managers and can find none that auto login to your site unless you have already used a browser to pass the web login form.
Please - if you've got any advice on how to get GetRight, DTA or any other manager working with sessions and web forms I (and I'm sure many others here) would love to hear. Until then I still believe form based login sites are to be avoided.

There was only one zip set that got blocked, and it probably is an issue on my end with the software. Because it was only one set, I just opted to grab pic a la carte rather than try to divine the root of the problem with my software. Probably would have taken about as long!

Is there any consideration of doing this on a permanent basis?
I believe it would be something to look into. I purchased the network pass, but I likely would not be a customer if I did not hear about this deal.
When a site offers me more for my money it tends to put a squeeze on your competition's likelihood of getting my money this month. This month you grabbed the competition by the balls and squeezed with both hands in my opinion.

Great suggestion, Endre - since I took advantage of the DDF special, I wanted to make sure that I got full value for it - so downloaded the download manager that you recommended and it's doing a great job on my system. I had tried another download manager that another site had recommended and it was a pain in the ass much of the time for a non-techy like me. This one's simple and effective.

Also, it doesn't all have to be 1 on 1 POV. 360 degree scenes with lots of stuff happening all around you are the best!

DDF webmaster, you should not talk to your customers like that. The guy had a bad experience with billing for a porn site, which is not exactly an uncommon experience. Regardless of who is right or wrong, the site took his money and did not give him what he expected, which also happens everyday in the world of porn site billing, so he's a little ticked-off. You could have used this as a way to fix a bad customer experience and publicly demonstrate to a lot of other customers how upstanding your business practices are and you blew it by responding like a noob.

I will respond in order for you :)
1. The site may have material going back to 1999, and why that may be awesome to use as a selling point. The site is never clear about the videos amounts including mostly old material.
If you are selling very old material the site should includes words like classics disclose material being old.
2.
Navigation why looks straight forward jumps around at times I find myself constantly having to use a back button because the links did not go where the should, it looks like its a good system, but in Firefox it worked poorly, perhaps its a browser issues but there is no mention of Firefox issues on the site.
3.
I thought i was pretty clear on the searches, I can enter one thing and it brings up material not even related. Can't be much more clear then that .
4.
I have a 60MB connection best download speed was in the 300K at 2GIg files that makes for slow downloads. Other porn sites I use are twice as fast if not faster.
5.
The website said it cancelled my account, I got a page saying it had .
However it said a confirmation email would be sent it was not.
Contacted tech support they confirmed it was not. Sure support was easy but cancellation was not. It was not a huge deal, but imagine if every site a person did business online with require tech to cancel
perhaps that helps :)
6.
Vids and Pics.
They may be marked, but not clearly enough for the pornuser having been downloading porn for over 18 years and using the internet well before then.
The site is great do not get me wrong, but even you admit something need updating from the past, yet that is never communicated to your customers. That was my issue is the site look amazing and the ladies are very nice. But I found functionality it falls short.

Good news!
When I was subscriber last time, I remember there being at least two naming conventions for the same files in use. Depending on whether you downloaded from individual "sites" or the main size you either got long names with actresses names or short ones with just the running number and little else.

I totally agree with Schirm's comments. In fact it was one of the reasons I decided to let my membership lapse.
The content of your site is superb so when you make this change, in my opinion, it will make your site the best in the business. I definitely will sign up again when this change is made.
Also, thanks for monitoring the Porn Users site. That, alone, demonstrates your interest in providing top level customer service.

I played around some more, tried the site with Firefox using a download accelerator. I'm having a much more satisfactory result. It's weird because I had been getting the fastest download speeds with IE in the past.

I was a member of the DDF network for several months a while back and had a few occasions where I contacted the support desk and got prompt and effective support.
See my earlier post regarding pre-checked cross sells. While I don't see the pre-checking to be a customer service, I also don't see it as being particularly bad either. In those few cases with other sites where I missed the pre-check in the signup page, I found that the biller and/or site were happy to cancel the transaction and refund any amounts paid.
The network was, and still is, one of my favorites. At $360.00 per year to remain a continuous member, however, I had to cancel just to stay within my budget. I will be rejoining once or twice during the coming year just because I miss their excellent content.

You've got a truly great site, Ace DDF - but clearly, part of the experience in dealing with any subscription is ease and clarity of joining - and ease and clarity of cancellation.
If you've got the classiest material on the internet but then it seems like a confusing mess to join or to cancel the subscription, that impacts the experience and the opinion of your customers on your site overall.
The feedback here ought to be taken to heart and dealt with to make the join/cancel experience every bit as classy and well-done as the material on your site.
