I am really happy to contribute to the site - sometimes I feel there's really only me here lately so who am I writing reviews for, but it's nice to know others find them interesting and of course they'll stand for any future gay users of PU - and of course some of my reviews are actually of sites aimed mainly at straight women so it may help them too.
I do my best to write fair and honest reviews and I enjoy writing them and interacting on this site. I am aware that making porn isn't as easy as many think and I appreciate porn producers efforts on our behalf, so I do try and make sure I always comment on the good as well as the bad and give as fair a overall view as I can whilst still remembering I have to be fair to the reader too and give them my honest opinion about a site, faults and all.
It's been a privilege to interact with people like yourself and this is easily the most respectful, calm and intelligent forum I've found which is amazing considering the subject and what a lot of people who don't use porn think of it!

Bottom Line:
Workin' Men Movies is a unique site in gay porn. It's run by our host "Buddy" who has been filming mainly Southern US, blue-collar "rough" guys for over 20 years now.
These men are the real deal. They are patently not professional models and you will not see them in mainstream gay porno. I don't think any of them are younger than 30s and go up in age to about 60. All of them are billed as "never pretty" guys and that's largely true.
I don't know how this guy manages to find these men - they are blue-collar workers down on their luck, often just out of jail, often straight and/or married/divorced. Largely drifters, a lot of them seem to refer other people to the site. It did make me a little uncomfortable that the site might be a bit exploitative, but the guys all seem happy enough to be there and he treats them with real respect in person.
Having said that - he always puts his own comment on the site after it's uploaded and some of his comments seem pretty cruel! If he doesn't like a model personally he'll say so and sometimes it seems unfair, like he's been kind of rude behind their backs. It adds to the intimate feel that he knows the models, but just because a guy wasn't his type personally doesn't mean the video didn't work which is what they were hired to do. If a guy comes across as less macho than he expected he can also be pretty rude which I think is a pity on a gay site!
Content is split into various categories. The largest is probably solo content, where the guy strips off and masturbates to a cum shot. He may occasionally accept a blowjob from the cameraman or give one himself. Then you have duo shots, which include a range of still but usually including full anal sex and maybe some toys. There are also a handful of group sex shots with up to 4 guys.
There are various sections. The main one, "Whole Session Videos" as far as I can see include every video he's ever shot largely unedited, which means they are often long (1 hour+) and include some mistakes. There are hundreds of these to choose from.
Other sections seem to be edited versions of videos to suit your taste - "Buddies" includes all duo or group scenes, "Workin Men" is the edited solos, "Loads Series" is edited videos showing just the cum shots, "In Your Face" is just facial cum shots, etc.
Video quality is generally quite low. It's an amateur site and he does warn you of this in the preview and comment with an apology if a video is particularly poor - usually if it's an early one with old-tech equipment and when he was less experienced.
Older videos are WMV only and 320x240 in size, and are often grainy and poorly-lit. I got a framerate of 29fps and only 823kps bitrate. Newer videos move up to 640x480 (WMV) or 480x320 (MP4) and are much clearer though still very much amateur standard. The WMV figures here were 29kps/1064kps and MP4 was 29kps/1279kbps.
It's worth noting this is a video only site - no pics at all, not even vidcaps. Not an issue for me but worth bearing in mind.
Overall this is a hot site with unique content. The video quality is something of an issue but he's upfront about it and it goes with the amateur feel. LOTS of content too.
However various issues, not such a big deal on there own, let it down. Some links were broken. There's no search facility and the site is chaotic to navigate - it takes time to figure it out. The in-browser streaming was so choppy and slow as to be unusuable.
Each time you watch a video in-browser using WMP it asks for your username and password again in a pop-up and when you enter them it pauses then pops up again. I found if you clicked "cancel" the second time it would then play, but it was really frustrating. He asks you to e-mail him with suggestions so I sent one asking about this, but over 2 weeks later, no reply.
What also put me out is I found another site on PU called Workin Men XXX. It seems to offer the same content (if not perhaps all of it as the preview pages don't seem to update) for the same price but with bonus access to 9 others sites. Some of those other sites look hot and if I'd known I might well have joined that site instead for the same price.
Even if the video quality remained amateur the content is hot enough I think that without the issues raised above I'd have given this site in the late 80s or even early 90s. As it is, the score reflects the "great content, badly executed website" theme I find depressingly familiar in porno!
I agree with RustyJ - an odd question but overall based on the reviews I read on here, I'd say the majority of PU users are of above-average intelligence.
I dropped my laptop in the street - it still works but with a crack on the side and the volume controls haven't worked quite right since!
So I guess a new laptop might be required - I've also bought the external hard drive I've been meaning to buy for ages to back up all my porno just in case!

Sounds like the classic regional billing to me - you have to pay extra even when you're using a slightly stronger currency.
It's sadly a way of life for European users, sounds like Canadians aren't exempt either.
CCBill, although a respected provider, does seem to be very willing to provide regional billing and doesn't require sites to make it clear that it's in place, which I think is misleading.
You often don't realise you've been overcharged until after you've joined.
I now always double-check what they're charging me in my local currency and how they compares in US dollars to what the site advertises itself as costing. It should be similar, if not exact due to currency fluctuations - but if it's several dollars more, you're being overcharged.

I've never heard of a site which locks you out as soon as you cancel your membership - as you say you're supposed to keep access until the time that you've already paid for runs out.
Sounds like the site isn't remotely how it's described so I suppose that's why they resort to dirty tricks like that.

Hey there thanks so much for your help, it worked! Turns out a RealPlayer add-on/extension was causing the issue, and then Firefox said that extension was known to cause issues with Firefox anyway. I disabled that and it worked fine. In fact I've now uninstalled RealPlayer completely and touch wood, my browser seems much more stable now!

Actually I do find Firefox has been crashy for a while, but it kind of comes and goes and this is the only site which crashes it 100% of the time.

Bottom Line:
I do want to say that I do understand that this is an amateur site, and I did try and take that somewhat into account when I wrote my review - but they do still charge for it, and whilst it's still at the cheaper end of the market, a recent price increase, and extra charges for non-Americans thanks to regional billing, it's creeping to the territory of much more professional sites.
I also do understand that as a gay man the site is not really aimed at me, but I joined it because I do enjoy other CFNM/Femdom sites. I feel bad giving this site a low score for these reason, but I have tried to be fair and my score reflects the above factors.
Rob and Jill is an amateur site run by a real-life married couple. The theme of the site is her controlling when and how Rob is allowed to ejaculate, mainly via handjobs. Jill comes up with a massive variety of games and scenarios for them to act out, including gameshows, chastity, all sorts of devices, "ruined" (minimised) orgasms, etc. I find Rob very attractive, and the site has been going for so long that there's a LOT of videos.

There's also a fair amount of bonus material of very variable quality - the best is user-submitted by other femdom women, the rest seems to be fairly generic, non-exclusive and low-quality porn.
Rob and Jill make a great and sexy couple and the scenarios are very creative. They've made a unique site and it's a privilege to share their intimate life.
However it's just so sad the way the site itself is, as it really lets things down. Only the latest material offers video which is of a high enough resolution and quality to be worth watching - and this is from someone who isn't fussy about demanding hi-def resolution or glossy production values.
Until recently the videos were so small in size and resolution that's it's just a small image in the middle of your screen - it's just barely worth watching. The videos are presented in at least 4 formats - WMV, RN (RealPlayer), MPEG, AVI. However there is no consistently at all - each movie is generally only available as one file type and it's completely random which one you'll get for each video. Most of the videos are low resolution. I found the sound quality often poor too. The last few update videos are much better - she seems to have settled on WMV files in a larger format.
The site layout is overwhelming when you first join but whilst you get used to it, it's so badly organised it's frustrating. This isn't usually one of my main issues, but here it's difficult to ignore. If you find a scene you like the sound of, you can't immediately stream it - you have to remember the title, go back to the main page, find the streaming section, and then try and find it there. It may or may not be there. Then if you do like it (having waited for the sluggish video to get going, with lots of stops for buffering - forget trying to pause and jump and forth during streaming) you have to go back to the main screen, back to the download section and try and find it again. There are no search options to speak of - videos are simply presented per section on one large page in date order - that's it.
Often I found the videos didn't match up to the hot descriptions. For example in one video she promises to feed Rob his own cum - but you don't see her actually do it - his face remains out of shot.
I think from then on video quality will be acceptable quality and worthwhile. However the vast majority of the material remains in the other formats at resolutions which are simply too low for me to find them of any real use.
Overall an interesting concept but to me, the site just doesn't work overall.
