I'm not sure what some of you are complaining about. In the U.S. it is illegal for anyone under 21 to consume alcohol. It is illegal for an adult to sell or provide a minor under 21 with alcohol... yet I know a lot of other parents who give or know about their kids drinking alcoholic drinks.

EDIT: It may be illegal but it is surely is a lot safer, if the parent decides to allow their child to drink, to allow it at home and limit it rather allowing them to go out to a bar where many provide fake ids and go seriously overboard. This poll's topic isn't much different.

I think that there are some professional sites out there, but is sadly offset by all the bad ones. There are definitely a million and one poorly done sites for every good one. I don't measure professionalism by the content, I am measuring professionalism by how well a site keeps up with the times and listens to it's customers. Even through there are a lot of bad sites, they ratio seems to have remained pretty much the same (luckily), so I will say mixed.

I probably would have never even noticed had it not been that I read and article about that a while ago. Since then I have noticed, but I think it's actually a bigger turn-on to see women with a few flaws than a woman who goes all out to hide them or photo/video editing. Truth-be-told, I don't mind. I woman with a few flaws is much hotter than those who edit their appearance ether digitally, surgically, or with makeup.

To date, I have seen quite a few HD videos featuring women with a few flaws, and I enjoy it better than the low-res version in which you can barely notice it or is pixelated.

Denner - I agree with RagingBuddhist. Data storage prices are lower than ever and are continuing to fall. The beginning of this year an 80GB hd was $150+. Today, I could pick one up for about $20-30. Size is not an issue with me. No pun intended. :)

Oh the bureaucracy of it all! :)

Personally I think they are fine for now, just need to keep tabs on it for future changes.

I don't have a link offhand. Most video sites use Flash today and other than that most of them are either pay sites or bittorrent (a la Vuze). If you use bitTorrent, Vuze.com has a lot of DIVX and MOV files.

I cannot try Quicktime because I use linux, but I do have a codec that can decode MOV files on my system. Back when I used Windows I never installed Quicktime cause it was always EXTREMELY SLOW, slower than any other player and the codec was only installed for use IN THEIR PLAYER ONLY. Sorry, but I don't oblige companies that restrict use like that. I don't know if it is any different today, but I might not find out for a while. I have no interest in reinstalling XP, no interest in Vista. I MAY (and I stress MAY) install Windows 7 when it is released, but that is speculative at this point. If it turns out to be another Vista then that is not going to happen.

You are missing out with XviD. A LOT of videos now-a-days are encoded using it and it is a really good file format. I know DivX installs a whole bunch of c-r-a-p with their codec, but you should look at XviD ( http://www.xvid.org/ ). It is essentially an open-source version of DivX minus the "menus" feature (never used it anyway -- and DVDs aren't going to use the format). XviD doesn't come with any spyware, just the codec, install/uninstall, and settings/prefs program.

I use Linux so DivX isn't an option. XviD plays all the DivX vids though. There is a Windows (and I think Mac) version.

I have all the codecs available for my system. The only videos I haven't been able to play are those that were encoded by completely incompetent morons, a FEW real media files, and files with DRM. Even if I was able to play DRMed files, I would not and I don't join sites that use DRM. Other than that all other files are playable.

P.S. - Using Linux.

For smaller files (up to about 10mB) I usually don't mind if I even end up with sub-100kb/s speeds. For larger files a minimum 200-500kb/s or I will usually hit cancel. There are VERY FEW servers that I have gotten 600-1mb/s. The odd thing is that I can usually get 6mb/s easy over BitTorrent. That is why I don't know why more sites do not use it as, at the very least, an alternative to direct download. I know some people have caps, packet shaping, preventing P2P, but as more legit companies start using it I can see them start to sue ISPs for blocking paths to their files. Also using it as an alternative download method usually gets good responses.

The last console I ever used was a PS1, gen1 (not even the smaller PS1 gen 2 or the PSP). I still play computer games from time to time, but not console.

Currently use a combination. Totem for most. VLC for any others that do not play in Totem, and MPlayer for any that do not play either wise. Flash will not be much of a contender until they release the 'Moviestar' update and has good adoption.

I choose "Other" because there are a few properties that are required to make a video HD. Today there are only a few codecs that are capable of true-to-the-standard HD. I will typically accept DivX/XVid, WMV (Windows Media Video), MP4 (MPEG-4), OGG Theora (open-sourced MPEG-4), and MOV (Apple Quicktime), and any other codecs that are H.264 compatible. I listed the codecs that are used most often and must meet certain criteria:

The video dimensions must be the right size: 1280 x 720 or higher.
With current compression methods, HD video is usually between 900 kb/s - 2mb/s bitrate depending on the codec and overall quality. 900kb/s will usually give you about a DVD-quality picture (with larger dimensions than a DVD) which is fine for my requirements.

Even that is a conservative estimate because beyond the video's dimensions, I accept a video as HD even if it does not precisely meet the written standards for HD in broadcasting.

I usually use forums as a secondary to showing when updates occur. Some sites do not tell you except in the forums. I really don't like forums in members areas that you have to sign up for after loggin into the members area. It should, at the very least, use your own membership user/password or, even better, be logged in automatically using your membership user/pass.

I don't use them often though.

One of the only one's I have used was in LittleMutt since they would often give you previews or a heads up on what sets and videos were on the way.

Rick, I told you when you implemented new rules early on that there should be required reasons for voting someone "no" on trust ratings and you gave me a list of reasons why it should not be implemented... naughty Rick... :)

Glad it will be though!

I guess I could call myself a 'porn junkie' but not just from buying memberships. Considering I like content from many sites (and unfortunately you can't get it all in one site), I have to admit that I have alternative ways of acquiring content in addition to joining sites.

Considering everything today is automated and logins are pretty much instantaneous, being able to log in is important and issues should be dealt with quickly.

Yoda was right! I never go to a site just for one thing. I have been interested in individual models, but realize that if it is a lesser-known site with many non-exclusive models, she's bound to show up somewhere else!

For some reason, the first two responses seem synonymous with one another. Having them work well in MOST sites is the same has having problems with a FEW and having problems with just a FEW means they work well with MOST, don't you think?

Anyway, I would say one of the first two. :)

Nope. Multiple desktops (an idea unknown to most Windows users) protect well. Also, the 'stash' is locked behind a password-protected, encrypted file system. When I leave the computer, I always lock the screen as well.

I really like the idea of giving RSS feeds for various updates to the site, kudos. Unfortunately I will probably never use them. I use feeds in my every-day life for non-pr0n related matter, but would take too much time to set up other readers just for certain sites containing NSFW content.

So I suppose for the time being, I will just continue to visit the site often! :)

I rarely ever get a multi-month contract unless I REALLY like the site or the multi-month offers a HUGE discount as apposed to just getting a one month membership.

I like to get a good variety of content. I never kept a solid membership for more than the initial payment (one month, three month, 6 month). I usually join a site, try it out, grab what content I can and move on. Sites I like I will usually get another membership to later on to see what new stuff has been added.

It does, for now. It seems to have hindered the 'shills' pretty well, as long as they don't find some another loophole.

Definitely Abby Winters. Best overall value. Amateur content everywhere (even though the site does not seem like it), and many search/nav functions and a great design.

I have had memberships to all of the sites listed, but AW is the best.

VideoBox is nice in that you get hundreds of DVDs to download, but have a taste for more amateur/exotic stuff.

Hegre Art is nice, has beautiful models, but is mostly all images.
I would probably like it better if they had longer/more videos.

Matts Models is a nice site but lacks in a few areas. Also, the design does not appeal to me.

FTV Girls I love. The videos are awesome and so is the site, but then again it still seems too professional in style to me. If they didn't priss the girls up so much and use some fancy house so much it would appeal more.
