Some of those Teenfuns photosets and videos are classic. As good as anything that is being put out today, in spite of the "lower quality" of the photos and videos. They had some absolutely yummy models.
Who even thinks about such details? I am happy if I can find some porn that is watchable (clips), or viewable (photos). I would like the porn to be cleanly lighted with attractive models. I am not an auteur who is viewing world class art or film, I'm just trying to find some good-looking, erotic porn. Lol.
I was thinking about joining this network, mainly for the Young Legal Porn site. But then I joined the teen mega world network yesterday, because that was cheaper. My mistake, because I've been a member of teen mega world before, and am curious about the Young Legal Porn site. But maybe I will get to Young Legal Porn sometime in the future. :)
Teen mega world has some nice sites, but the grass is always greener on the other side. Just human nature, I guess.
But $40, or even $35, seems very steep for a 1 month membership. I don't like paying more than $30 for a month, and there are nice sites/networks that you can get for $20 or less (thru PU discounts).
I paid $20 for a 1 month membership to Teen Mega World, which gives me access to around 30+ sites. Of those sites, maybe 6 are the main ones for value, and the rest are filler.
On the other hand, the number of sites is really a marketing decision. All the Teen Mega World sites could be combined into a single site, but then the potential subscribers would think they were getting less for their money.
I don't think movie reviews have much effect on what a movie does at the box office. I think that many years ago movie reviews had more impact. But because of the internet, where access to a wide range of different reviews is easily available, people can more easily see how different reviews of a movie can be from the different critics. Also, people depend on word of mouth more than on what they read from a single critic.
I read a movie review to find out about the plot of the movie, and try to get a general idea of what the movie is like. But I don't think most people, myself included, depend on the critics to decide whether to see a movie.
I definitely think about a site before I join it. What do the contents look like, what's the price, what do the reviews at PU say? There are so many sites out there, and if money was no object, then I would be joining a huge number of sites. But since money is limited, I often stick with established sites, many of which I've joined previously.
I have joined a number of sites, as many fellow PU members have. And maybe I've been lucky, but I was never rebilled at any time after cancelling my site membership.
So I think that CCBill and other payment processors are not only efficient, but ethical as well.
It's human nature to always want a new toy.
But based on what's out there, VideoBox appears to be one of the best DVD sites available, especially considering the low monthly membership price.
So I think it's reasonable to give the site a very high score, based on extensive site contents + ease of access + low membership price.
Like I say, it's human nature to always want a new toy, new sensation, better, bigger, brighter videos, more original videos, etc.
But based on what's out there, this is one of the best DVD sites around, so I think it really does deserve a high score.
(Even though I personally don't care for most of the DVD material at this site. :) )
I don't have a precise method of scoring sites, it's more of a gut-feel process for me. But what I am basically aiming for is:
site score = value = (site contents + ease of access)/price.
So price is one of the major factors in the value or score of a site, as far as I am concerned. I believe that the site score should indicate the value of a site.
But I also realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And that the site contents can be very appealing to me, but almost worthless to other PU members. Personal taste varies wildly. So I believe that the score of a site has a very large subjective component.
Met-art, my favorite porn site, can be a waste of time and money for other PU members.
And some sites that other PU members can rate very high, based on "objective factors" such as content, can be a waste of time and money for me.
So to understand the value and meaning of a site score, depends on who is doing the rating, and how much I agree with their personal tastes.
I believe most PU members realize this, even if it's not prominently emphasized.
I've seen a few sites where the ads are plastered all over the page, and they take up as much space as the site contents you are paying for. That is ridiculous.
I sometimes let a membership roll over for more than one month. But mainly, if I am going to be a member of a site for more than one month, I pick the multi-month membership, or for a very few sites, the annual membership.
I sometimes think about it while not watching or surfing porn. That doesn't count the time I spend at PU, which is porn-related, but not directly watching or surfing.
When I pay for a site membership, I expect immediate access to that site. So I can understand your frustration when it took several hours, and many attempts, for you to be able to enter the site. That's why "grin and bear it" is a little hard to achieve, but what the heck else can you do?
Sometimes it takes a while before the site you paid to enter has your
username and password authorized on its servers. That's the best
explanation I can come up, when the same thing happens to me. But I
usually have to wait less than 1 hour after payment to be able to enter a site, even though I am trying to log on as soon as I make payment.
But it sounds like, from your first looks at the site, you are happy with the site contents so far. So that's a major plus.
And Maria Ozawa is my favorite JAV star. She's absolutely gorgeous.
The forum can be entertaining. I check the most current threads pretty often. Enjoy reading what others think, and offer my own opinions, etc. The PU members are friendly, and can be helpful at times. The PU staff (mainly Khan) can also be helpful.
I don't remember ever joining a limited trial (limited in the sense of not being able to download material, or not being able to view the entire site).
Either I will join a site for a month or longer, or I won't join.
I am satisfied with the update rate at Met-art. They have 4 (sometimes more) new, nice-sized photo sets each day. I've never seen another site that even comes close to that update rate.
I'm becoming more tolerant as I grow older, but there's a lot of hardcore porn that does not appeal to me at all. But then again, there's a lot of softcore porn that doesn't appeal to me, either.
To the best of my knowledge:
The page where you enter your email address, username, and password is NOT secure.
Where you enter your personal identification data and credit card data is NOT secure.
I would check with an expert before I entered any of that information on the pages to join that site.
The pages where you enter that information have:
http:, NOT https:.
Look at the address on your browser for that page.
Most pages show http:
But if the page is secure, it shows https:
Browsers used to show a lock icon at the bottom of the page to show the page was secure. But Firefox stopped doing that years ago.
(If the page itself shows the lock icon, that is meaningless/worthless, because that would just be part of the page design by whoever designed the page.)
I agree with everything you say. This is a really nice site, with lovely girls. The girls do go beyond the softcore seen at Met-art, both on a solo basis and a girl-girl basis. They even started making boy-girl sets/videos, which is a real change of direction.
